This was one of the best spicy margaritas I've ever had. If I wasn't at lunch I would have had many. I ordered the Burritos Enamorados and my husband had the Enchiladas Tricolor. Both were fantastic and portions were very favorable. The chicken melted on your mouth. The setting itself is very modern. We came here for my son's birthday, a party of five. We were late for our reservation and they closed in an hour from when we arrived. The service was good, the restaurant is nice. But the food lacks flavor and too expensive . 2 tacos full size tortillas with guacamole, onions and cilantro almost $19 dollars. No rice or beans, just tortillas with some meat . The food is authentic, high quality and the service is wonderful. They put the FUN in fundido. The Queso Fundido appetizer is one of the most fun things you can eat. The fajitas are presented on wood with the freshest meat and vegetables you can have. Simply the best! The Jimmychanga is already legendary for its size and taste. The drinks are fantastic. Best Margarita I have had in years. Carlos whom we have known for many years from another restaurant is here and he is spectacular. The flan is homemade with homemade whipped cream and normally I do not like flan, but theirs is as good as I have ever tasted. Look up what Ta'Chingon means in English and lives up to that name! This is our first time here from the time we came in. Rosa greeted us. The food here is by far the best Mexican food I've had in this town. And I have been to almost all the Mexican places, but this one is really good. We got the lunch special. I did the taco shredded beef. The beef is to die for the beans the refried beans oh my gosh that's all I can say. I've never tasted refried beans like this ever. The guacamole is excellent. It has that hint of lime, which we really like the salsa are great. My husband had the tricolor enchiladas and he said they were excellent. They have so many different ones that you can try. The chips are fresh. Everything about it is just a great great experience Again. Ta'Chigon lives up to its name (for non-speakers, it roughly means "it's badass" or "it's fantastic"). Five stars for a stellar menu, amazing sauces, and a dining experience where everything hit. This place is so much better than Juan's Flaming Fajitas down the road, yet way easier to get into (for now). The menu is on the smaller side, but that allows them to focus on solid execution. The Tacos Ta'Chingon were amazing. And the Fajitas were top notch (also, huge). We can't wait to come back and further explore the menu.
