Loved it here! Tried the jimmychanga with shredded beef and birria tacos. Both were delicious. The Jamaica was fresh and 10/10 recommend, I believe they have horchata too as an agua fresca. The ambiance is like a lounge with upbeat music and low lighting. They accommodated our large party for a birthday celebration and gave us the best service, so attentive and nice. If I could give a zero star I would. Wow, waited 30 minutes to have GrubHub cancel the order. After receiving the notification from GrubHub I decided to contact Ta'Chingon to see what happened. The person on the phone was very nice but said that they cancelled all delivery services and apologized for the cancellation but told me to call back to place a pick up order. Cool! Just went for a dinner with friends the other day. We were able to snag some happy hour deals on beer and tacos which were both awesome. Our server was very friendly and was even cracking some jokes with us. I had the enchiladas for my meal and they were fantastic. The booths were so comfy, so make sure to make a reservation so that you hopefully can get one! Small edit: I forgot to mention how delicious the chips (they seemed house made) and salsa were. Finally something new and delicious to the neighborhood. My wife and I saw this and have been waiting for it to open. The restaurant has a great decor, that is really inviting. The restaurant is so cozy and clean. We were greeted immediately and escorted to a table. The service was incredible; our server was helpful, informative and you can tell loves what they are providing to the customers. We came to try out all the salsa and MY GOODNESS it did not disappoint. They all had their own different taste profiles. My favorites were the peanut one (Pasion de Cachuate) and the smoky one (Profunda Tentacion). We also got their fish tacos and the chicken mole! (AMAZING!) Everything was fresh and prepared perfectly....down to the nine different salsas they offer. We were visiting from Orange County where we usually have Mexican food at least once a week...and Ta 'Chingon is right up there with the best! I have been in Las Vegas for 11 years and impossible to find a good Mexican Restaurant . . until today. Ta' Chignon is amazing. I lived in Mexico for 20 years and this is the best. I rarely write reviews anymore, but I had to take a minute and write one for Ta Chingon. As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by multiple staff, asked where we'd like to sit, we chose the booth. Ordered the queso starter and some tacos and chilaquiles, a strawberry margarita and a Paloma. Everything was amazing, the portions were super generous I couldn't even finish everything. This place is awesome, the staff were super friendly and accommodating which you don't really notice these days that is so rare until you experience it. This is in no way your typical Mexican fare. Owner Hector is mixing drinks from the well-intentioned bar and describing dishes to blow your mind and palate. Food was good and I would give this place 4 stars but honestly our waitress is the reason for this review. My husband and I came in for the first time tonight and we were greeted by Mari and everything was good until near the end. At first she was pleasant but after noticing her complaining about wanting to go home to other staff members and kind of pushing us towards our check she gave us a completely different demeanor. We had planned to order to go food to bring home but she seemed very impatient to leave. Wonderful little spot near the house, just opened up about a month ago. Service was excellent, met one of the owners, Rosalva she is friendly and very tentative and was able to recommend and accommodate us due to my husband's food allergies. We came in for the happy hour specials, and they didn't disappoint. I got the quesabirria it does come with consome, it was delicious. My husband got the chicken tacos and we were able to try different sauces that they had, he enjoyed it. The spicy guava margarita was recommended by the bartender and that was delicious, you can really taste the guava in it. Will definitely come back and try more on the menu.
