Our server was very friendly and was even cracking some jokes with us. I had the enchiladas for my meal and they were fantastic. There aren't enough stars to tell you how valued I felt as a customer. We arrived 10 minutes before happy hour was to end and they were slammed. The staff honored our happy hour pricing for our drinks and it got even better from there. The wait we had was so worth and the food was the star. The food was wonderful! Not your typical generic Mexican food that we have in Las Vegas. This was more authentic, fresh and good. They have lots of different salsas to choose from and some good specials. The service was good. Our waitress was Maria. She was helpful by explaining the menu and making recommendations. We are blessed here in Las Vegas with so many great dining options, but if you like Mexican food, Ta'Chingon should be your go-to destination, even if you are visiting on vacation! So much better than most of the Mexican restaurants on the Strip. Ta'Chingon is amazing. Great ambiance in an upscale, yet relaxed environment. The food is authentic, high quality and the service is wonderful. They put the FUN in fundido. The Queso Fundido appetizer is one of the most fun things you can eat. The fajitas are presented on wood with the freshest meat and vegetables you can have. Simply the best! The Jimmychanga is already legendary for its size and taste. The drinks are fantastic. Best Margarita I have had in years. Carlos whom we have known for many years from another restaurant is here and he is spectacular. The flan is homemade with homemade whipped cream and normally I do not like flan, but theirs is as good as I have ever tasted. Look up what Ta'Chingon means in English and lives up to that name! Don't bother looking for a better Mexican in Vegas ! There are NONE. This is the very best. The food tastes like you are in Mexico at a gourmet restaurant. The portions are generous and the freshness and taste are all here. I m super picky when it comes to eating out and I think this is my favorite Vegas restaurant from now on. Wonderful little spot near the house, just opened up about a month ago. Service was excellent, met one of the owners, Rosalva she is friendly and very tentative and was able to recommend and accommodate us due to my husband's food allergies. We came in for the happy hour specials, and they didn't disappoint. I got the quesabirria it does come with consome, it was delicious. My husband got the chicken tacos and we were able to try different sauces that they had, he enjoyed it. The spicy guava margarita was recommended by the bartender and that was delicious, you can really taste the guava in it. Will definitely come back and try more on the menu. Delicious tacos and the salsas were delightful (they have a delicious smoky ancho one that had such a nice flavor without much heat!) - my family really enjoyed the asada/adobada ones in particular (though we liked all of them), the refried beans/chips were delicious as well. This was one of the best spicy margaritas I've ever had. If I wasn't at lunch I would have had many. I ordered the Burritos Enamorados and my husband had the Enchiladas Tricolor. Both were fantastic and portions were very favorable. The chicken melted on your mouth. The setting itself is very modern.
