We were in the area and decided to give this place A try heard a lot of great things about it and I was not disappointed. The food is very flavorful. Very big portions and absolutely delicious. I haven't had good tacos in a really long time and these asada tacos were so flavorful and so good. The pastor tacos again delectable so much meat. The quesadillas was huge! And again so good! The wet asada burrito was really good and a decent size The prices were not bad My only complaint is while sitting in the seating area there were tons of flys it was not fun But for the food I highly recommend this place.

One of my favorite taco spots. Food is served in a timely manner, it's inexpensive and the Frescas are delicious

Been here a few times for a quick lunch when I'm on break at work and it has consistently been a great experience! Service is quick, efficient, and good! Outdoor seating areas gives classic taco stand/restaurant vibes, no fancy gimmicks attention on the food! Food is consistently great, well seasoned, cooked well and always served fresh! This is easily my favorite Mexican food spot in Glendale so far!

This place is iconic. Grew up in Glendale all my life and revisited this place for the first time in 15 years. Quality of food and staff are super. Arecelly was a great host and quick to take our order and our food came out within 5 minutes :)

The best tacos when I visit from out of town aka Hawaii where there is no good Mexican food, I always try to visit Taco azteca, my siblings refuse to let me have anything other than the best. Go-to: lengua tacos. The braise on the meat is so good, the flavor and texture. I'm a sucker for street tacos because it's all about the flavor and quality of the ingredients. Can't wait until I'm back to have it again

Taco Azteca is absolutely the best place for some delicious and authentic tacos and quesadillas! Upon arriving to this place, I was transported to a taqueria in Mexico. It's a small taqueria with minimal seating space but, that's what gives it that authentic taqueria vibes. This is the place if you need to fulfill a taco, quesadilla, or torta craving! Make sure you ask for their special green and red hot sauces that are freshly made there, they are absolutely mouth watering! So spicy but, so good! You also have to get the Mexican cokes here. They are ginormous. Biggest cokes I've seen and, so delicious! It really goes perfectly with the food. It's a must! The staff that work here are all super friendly and hardworking people, so I always love supporting small business like this one. This place is definitely worth coming to. I promise you won't regret it! This has become my new favorite place because of the food, vibes, and friendly staff. I can't wait to come back and eta more tacos and quesadillas when I visit LA next.

The guy who takes orders needs to learn some manners. I know is a taco place but some level of customer service should be expected.

The service was outstanding; they refilled said chips and AMAZING salsa three times. The food (generous portions) came our quickly and they refilled the waters before being asked. What can you make vegan? I asked, since the menu didn't mention anything specifically. The waiter, unbothered, began listing what they could make me but I stopped him pretty quickly at enchiladas. They ended up being good but the star of the plate was their vegan rice; it was clearly different from what all the meat eaters got on their plates. There's was yellow/orange, but mine was green and fragrant- cilantro and lime clearly central in the cooking. SO GOOD! I will definitely come back for the service and to try something else from the ready list of vegan entrees they seemed happy to offer off-menu.

Very attentive, patient with our decent-sized party, and very professional and friendly the entire time. He makes an amazing margarita and gave us great food recommendations as well. Huge thank you to Javier and all of the staff for making our experience so wonderful. We'll absolutely be back again!

Just want to say right…read moreoff the bat that this place really hit it out of the ball park in almost all aspects of the dining experience. First off, it's a beautiful restaurant with Spanish touches throughout. There is seating inside and outside the restaurant in the courtyard. In the courtyard, there was a musician playing the guitar. Loved, LOVED his rendition of Hotel California. Really put me in a relaxing mood. The food here is unbelievably good with a few minor exceptions. Here is a run down of everything we had: -Patatas Bravas 5/5 stars. The roasted potatoes were delicious and the creamy sauce drizzled on top made it that much better. -Croquetas de Jamon y Pollo 4/5 stars. I remember it being tasty, but it wasn't as memorable as some of the other things I tried. -Gambas al Ajillo 5/5 stars. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and flavored. Even the bread, which tasted like sourdough, was fantastic. -Calamares Fritos 10/5 stars. No, that is not a typo. I usually avoid calamari like the plague since I'm not a fan of the taste. Here, however, I couldn't stop eating the calamari. I was popping them in my mouth like popcorn. There was something about the batter they used to coat the calamari. It had a satisfying crunch to it. Didn't even need the sauce it came with. -Prime Ribeye (prepared medium rare) 3/5 stars. The steak was okay. It was a bit undercooked and didn't have a nice crust on it. -Papitas Fritas: 10/5 stars. Once again, not a typo. The fries here were something special, which is saying a lot since fries are ubiquitous. The fries were delicately crispy and delicious. -Jamon Iberico Cebi de Campo with Manchego Cheese 4/5 stars. The Jamon Iberico was good, but not great. It had a slightly weird after taste that I usually don't get from high quality Jamon Iberico. -Tarta De Queso and Churros con Chocolate 3/5 stars. These were the only two items that I was truly disappointed with. There was nothing special about these dessert items. The churros were bland. -Cucumber Mint Cooler and Devil's Day Off 5/5 stars. Both of these drinks were refreshing. The Cucumber Mint Cooler, in case you're wondering, could best be described as a well executed, non-alcoholic cucumber mojito. The Devil's Day Off was a fizzy grapefruit and cinnamon delight. I have to end this review with the service. It was top notch. Our server, Robert, was not only extremely friendly, but helpful and informative. He walked us through the menu and talked us out of ordering certain items so that we wouldn't over order food or get items too similar to one another. At one point, we were debating whether to order the Churrasco a la Plancha (8 oz ribeye) or 12 oz ribeye. One person from our family wanted the fritas that only came with the Churrasco while another person (me) wanted the 12 oz ribeye. Robert resolved the disagreement by suggesting that we just order the 12 oz ribeye and they'll throw in the fritas for free (which they did). At the end of the meal, he made sure to point out that the gratuity had already been added to the bill and that there was no need to add a tip. We appreciated the heads up, otherwise we may not have noticed that. If it's not clear from my write up, I really enjoyed this place, despite a few items that missed the mark. If it wasn't so far away from where I live, I would have been back this weekend to try out more items from the menu.
