Cannot beat their $1.99 Taco Thursday deal! Fast friendly service and fresh tacos loaded with lots of meat and shredded cheese. Be sure to eat them fresh or at least open the bag and wraps so they don't get soggy on the way home. They also have $1.99 Tostada Tuesday but they're a bit unwieldy and messy to me. Cash discount!

Mini Nachos | $12.99 - serving nachos with cold unmelted cheese is diabolical
Cherylynn N.

OOF. I know Taco Bravo is a Campbell institution... For the drunchies. The way La Vic's is in DTSJ. A place where you visit when you've lost your dignity and standards several drinks ago. I was expecting Taco Bell caliber food without the hershey squirts and Taco Bravo couldn't even deliver that. Maybe I wasn't buzzed enough because I could still read the menu...$8.79 for one bravo taco?! So, nachos it is! But, what monster eats nachos with cold unmelted cheese (no nacho cheese underneath)?! Do they expect peeps to have a blowtorch in their bag?! And, not like it was cheap either. I know it's shrinkflation times but $12.99 for "fast food" nachos containing 90% chips and unmelted cold cheese with little ground beef and refried beans is ridic.

It's been years since I've visited and I don't think much has changed except the prices. Still relatively cheap, though. Portions are huge. The mini nachos are way more than enough for one person. Super taco still hits, but maybe not as much as when you've had a few too many drinks.

It's a better version of Taco Bell. The lady at the front is super sweet. Churros, burrito (beef) and quesadilla (shredded chicken) were good. Decent for the price can't complain.

Tostada

Grew up going to this place and it hasn't changed . Their cheese is so fresh it takes everything on the menu and makes it better . If you want something good and fast this place is better than fast food restaurants.

Tostada Tuesday
Juliet T.

What lured my partner and I to Taco Bravo was the huge banner showing the $1.29 deals. We came on a Tuesday thinking it was taco Tuesday, but it was actually Tostada Tuesday haha. Service is nice, the worker in the back gave us a sample of the pork to share before ordering. We ended up getting four tostadas- beef, chicken, and pork. The quality of the ingredients were not great, cheese was clumped insanely together and meat was quite salty. I would say this is equivalent to Mexican fast food. Decent for the price though!

The tacos on Taco Thursday that were $1.59 are now $1.99 each. Other than that, same great food.

The food is very delicious. The first time I had it back in late 90's It reminded of of what Taco Bell Tasted like back in the 80's. All of the ingredients are made Fresh. Especially the cheese of freshly grated and the taco shells! You can't get a better taco anywhere else! Plus I like the weekly specials! Great Customer service!

Went a few months ago. Burrito was bland, cheese had weird texture due to being only 10% melted. Employee was rude.

Is this location halal?

Hell naw

Will you still be open regardless of the coronavirus situation?

There ALWAYS' Open PRETTY Much

I havent been here for a while, ever since they got new registers. I used to order on EAT24/Grubhub at least 1-2 times a week with taco thurs being one of those days. I find I canI no longer order from yelp or Eat24. Is it coming back?

NOT SURE ABOUT THAT. I JUST DRIVE THROUGH

Any idea if the beans have lard in them? Meaning is the bean burrito really vegetarian?

You happened to catch me on the way, so I asked. And thank you, I'm going back to Veg next week. No, they don't. Just beans, oil and salt.

Plenty of parking available since the restaurant is in a strip mall. It wasn't too busy when we got there, but then it started picking up. There was only one server working and she was really hustling to meet everyone's needs. Plus, she was friendly. I had the carne asada burrito, it was good but nothing over the top that made it stand out. My friend had enchiladas with mole. We were most excited about dessert and decided to share the churros and Tres leches. It was a nice touch that the churros and Tres leches did not come plain, a little pizzazz since they were both served with berries, whipped cream, and a cajeta style sauce. Both of the desserts were so good and a perfect touch of sweetness.

We ordered right away and were served in a timely manner. The service is not the best and you have to try hard to catch the servers attention. The food was better this time, but not as good as many other Mexican restaurants. It is not what I consider authentic Mexican food.

Fast food is overpriced and unhealthy. So what are your options? Look no further, because Los Pericos (The Parakeets) has one of the best family meal deals in the Bay Area! It's extremely affordable and delicious. The family meals include tacos with your choice of meat, beans (refried or whole), Mexican rice, salsa, and your choice of corn or flour tortillas. They offer four sizes: 1 lb, 2 lb, 3 lb, and 4 lb of meat. They also have fresh carrot and orange juice, which I always enjoy while waiting for my order. This is definitely a must-try when you don't feel like cooking whether it's for yourself, your family, or even hosting friends for a taco night! I've also had the wet burrito version of this and it was delicious, but I wanted something more portable for the park. They have a self-serve salsa bar here and all of the salsas and the other toppings like radish and pickled jalapeño are excellent. The burritos come with a bag of chips, which are home made and well-salted, so don't skip out on the tomato salsa. As a bonus, the staff were all friendly and the tables were clean. This is a must-go when I'm in Campbell and in mood for Mexican food

It was relatively empty, with only one other party seated at the time. Service was friendly and quick, and we got our food pretty quickly after ordering. It's got a quaint hole in the wall kind of vibe, but was still clean - though not very air conditioned. We missed it, but there was a salsa bar in the corner near the entrance. We were served complimentary salsa and chips - nice refreshing, tomatoey and lightly spicy salsa. We also got guacamole, which you could tell was freshly made, chunky and refreshing. Glad we got this, because it helped cut through how heavy the molcajete de mariscos we got was. We were NOT expecting how large the mocajete is - this can probably be split across 3 if not 4 people. It comes out boiling hot, and with 3 tortillas, and a side of beans and rice. When we ordered, they asked us if we would want more tortillas since it comes with only 3 - we didn't even finish the 3 it came with. The sauce was tasty, tomatoey and spicy, and it was chock full of mussels, squid, sooo many shrimp, a whole filet of fried fish, and other goodies - unfortunately most of the seafood was pretty dry/overcooked. It came out to about $60 for the two of us. Overall, the mocajete was fun to try, but I think next time I'd try some tacos or a burrito if I were to come back.

I usually get their carne asada tacos but you can't go wrong with any of the proteins. The pastor one and seabass ones are some of my other favs. I typically get 1 super taco and 2 regular tacos and that's filling enough for me. I like the super taco because it comes with avocado and pico! It also comes with cheese and beans whereas the normal one only comes with cilantro and onion. I usually ask for no beans tho. We've also tried the steak nachos before too, and while they are good, I probably wouldn't get them again because it's chips overload after already eating the complimentary chips. I've also tried the caesar salad with chicken before, and it's solid but you're probably not coming to a mexican spot to eat a caesar salad. The service is pretty quick too which is nice.
