Since every state in Mexico cooks staples differently we were curious to try Oaxacan Cuisine. The restaurant feels like a restaurant in Mexico, we sat in the second back room and we felt like we were transported to a restaurant town in Mexico. The server was great, nice and friendly and the food was amazing! I ordered their Oaxacan Style Ceviche and it was so good! It came out in a molcajete style plate, and it looked small, however it wasn't, the portion was generous! Our family member ordered the pozole and they shared it was also delicious. (We didn't try it because we don't eat poultry but it smelled so good). Overall great stop, and we will be stopping by when we're back in the Rocklin area.

The fish were beer battered with cabbage, mango, pico, avocado | opted out of the cilantro and onion | Chipotle Aioli on the side just in case I found it too spicy for my taste. It turned out that it added to wonderful flavors on the tacos. Unfortunately, the chips and salsa was not complimentary. Purchase separately. The servers were friendly and welcoming and it made for a pleasant first time experience! There are two dining sections so don't fret when you see the dining area full as you enter the restaurant.
