I do not like leaving bad reviews. With having said that, this is the exception and is telling of how bad this place is. The service is really bad. The lady taking and making our order went out of her way to be rude. In our experience, they always ask customers to repeat their order several times. She was inattentive, rude and did not have any concept of customer service. She got a carne asada burrito wrong and she remade it with mostly beans and less carne asada. The food was just as bad. My wife & I have heard the hype for a while about Taco Tuesdays. We thought that we would go early beat the rush. Three workers, working the line, two customers ahead of us. No rush very slow time. Now the issue, all three line workers prepared the food items for the customers before us. First worker, worked the grill & the meat station. She used the spatula & different scoops for all the different meats. She would place items in the bowls tortillas or tacos then move the food around with her non-gloved hands. The next worker asked what additions customers wanted and again no gloves then to the cashier for the last ingredients, wrapped, boxed and bagged then payment. The customers paid in cash, received change as the worker began the next order. During the entire time not one of the workers wore gloves while preparing the food items. My wife and I stepped back let other customers go ahead of us. My wife and I stood watching as this happened two more times with cash payments. We are not germephobes by any means but three non-gloved workers handling food prep was a bit much for us. As you can imagine the money exchange was the nail in the coffin for us. Additionally, there were two boxes of gloves on the food prep area. We thought about asking for the workers to wear gloves but figured to leave well enough alone. What you do in font of me where I can see you makes me wonder, what you do when I don't see you.. Lastly, I went on lone to see their Heath inspection score and cannot find Tacos Del Rio anywhere on the list.. Our experience hope yours is better we will not return.. Sad that I have to leave this review. I come here every week. I usually order a side of beans for my child. The container they use leaks and by the time I get home, the beans are all inside the bag. I asked nicely this morning if they could put the beans in a menudo container and was first told no. Then the ladies started talking about me in Spanish not knowing I understood everything they were saying. They ended up doing after asking the male worker who said it was ok. My favorite place in Eastvale for Tripa tacos and burritos!! I always see people ordering Asada Fries and after I tried them I knew why!! Fully loaded with carne asada, guacamole, cheese, beans, onion, cilantro and salsa!!! Delicious!!! My order is normally: All Meat Burrito with two meats and Double Flour Tortilla - Al Pastor y Tripas (have them warm up the tripas up for you) cebolla, cilantro and salsa green/red and I'm one happy girl!!! I haven't been here in years so I couldn't remember if it was good or not... The food here isn't to bad, it's a little over priced but it's close to home and open late..I ordered 2 tacos, asada and el pastor and an asada quesadilla...The meat had good flavor but they put alot of onion on everything... they have the onion and cilantro pre mixed and it's not an even ratio, it's like 80% onion, 20% cilantro... so if you love onion you might like it.. the salsas could use a little more flavor and spice they are pretty bland... this place is located in a small shopping center so parking is very limited and it's a pain sometimes getting in and out. This is the place to go for Mexican food in Eastvale, period. The Carne Asada Fries are one of the most highly sought after meals in Eastvale. My personal favorite is the carne asada burrito with the green salsa, but I haven't tried anything here that was not delicious! The prices at Tacos Del Rio are reasonable and the portion sizes are pretty big. Ordering here is pretty chaotic, most of the time customers are ordering all at the same time and you often have to repeat things. That is the main critique I have for them, the ordering system there is rather disorganized and confusing. I've never left Tacos Del Rio dissatisfied and I hope it stays that way. This little taco place is SO good that I have literally driven 45 minutes to get food from here. I used to live over here and eat here about once a week, because their al.pastor tacos really can't be beat. In town visiting family and my brother picked up food from here. Mentioned that it was typical that they have a line out the door. Only had a few tacos but they are VERY good! These guys don't know how to speak English. Dirty hands handling food without washing them. Food was bland to be honest. Carne asada fries were the worst I've ever had. The cheese didn't even melt lol. Fries were soggy and way too much cream. Mostly, I had a hard time ordering because they just don't understand English. They were rude at the same time. We had ordered three different kinds of tacos each: carne asada, pastor, and pollo. I definitely recommend the carne asada taco, it is the most flavorful and the most notable taco we had. The pastor taco was not as notable but definitely still a treat. The pollo taco was a little bit spicy, so watch out for that. We also had the nachos and it contained the beef from the carne asada taco. Again, it was delicious. I definitely recommend getting their beef and will be returning for the dollar taco deal!
