They have some of the best meat and salsa in town, I can't say I have ever gotten a disgusting grizzly piece of meat in my mouth. The food is cheap, the service is quick and the food is delicious. I've tried the other Tacos El Rey location and it just can't compare in taste, so I will stick to this delicious hole in the wall! Recently I've been branching my selections to the ceviche tostada and carnitas which have proven to be noteworthy. But I always order at least one carne asada taco. We stopped by after a soccer game to get a quick bite and first of all the place is a filthy mess. There was food all over the floor and people just walking over it including the waitresses that were bringing the food out. It was so disgusting. I asked and employee if they could please clean it up because it was grossing me out and 10 minutes later she showed up with a broom and swept the floor. As for the food, all I can say is that I have had way better. It was edible but nothing out of this world. I am sure I can make better at home but this was convenient because we were in the area. By-far one of the best places for authentic Mexican food in Reno. Their tacos are amazing, I love all of them, but my very favorite are their tacos de tripa which come out with just enough crunch and amazing flavor. The wait is never very long, and the food is always on-point.
