My go-to taco spot in Anaheim is none other than Tacos Manuel. I had Tacos Manuel bookmarked back when it was only a food tuck hanging out in Santa Ana but it wasn't until they put up shop closer to home did I finally try them out. And man, did I wish I came across them sooner - their tacos are good darn great! I've been here plenty of times and they're consistent in both food and service. So far I've had their al pastor and carne asada tacos which have been delish every time but I've been eyeing their lengua tacos which I heard are winners too. The carnitas is packed with flavor but are a little dry; however, their green salsa (the avocadoish one) goes lovely with it! What I truly appreciate is how they package the tacos up on a plate neatly wrapped with all the fixings there - the grilled onions, lemons, and torched pepper with a kick on it as well. The size of their street tacos ($1.50-$2) is considerate, and, usually, 5-6 tacos should do it to satisfy my tummy. As I mentioned, their service is 5 star worthy too! Each time I've visited, I've been greeted with a smile and they do their best to make sure to ask all the right questions like if you want all the toppings packaged with the taco or which salsas you need. Though I will admit it may take them some time to cook up your tacos, if you're concerned about time, call your order in and they'll get that going as soon as they can! Tacos Manuel has proven to be a winner in my book! Hopefully, you get the chance to try them out! If you're not convinced already, the fact that they're 3 minutes from D-land and in the same plaza as M&M donuts might give you the final push to walk through their doors. We liked the food so much that we returned a second time. In between our two visits we eat at a local pizzeria and everyone commented on how we should have go for dinner at Tacos Manuel. This was my first time at the store front, but we've visited their truck in Santa Ana several times. The food is always good and their actual store was no exception. I love their green salsa, it's full of flavor and has a slight kick to it! I ordered their carne asada mulita, which is a favorite of mine. Today 4/29/2024 my boyfriend and I came to have dinner here. He had a torta de asada and I had a carne asada taco and choriqueso one. I enjoyed both but the chorizo was a bit spicy for my taste but my boyfriend ate it. We then had the blessing of having two carnitas tacos on the house which were delicious. Hands down the best tacos in OC! This location and their taco truck in Santa Ana are amazing! Everything from the quality of their food to the preparation and customer service is great. They're literally the best! Their meat is so tender and juicy and the tortillas are so soft and don't fall apart like other tortillas. Their salsas are good and their quesadillas are also amazing! I don't go anywhere else for tacos. Tonight I brought my fiancé here for the first time and he fell in love! The owner was really nice and welcoming. It's a definite must. This taqueria is tucked right beside Food 4 Less on Euclid and Katella (left side facing the store front). I would've never saw this place if my significant other had not said anything. Apparently they started as a truck and now owns a shop, which means they have to be amazing! The shop itself is very roomy with indoor and outdoor seating. The girl that was at the register tonight (09/16/2020) was super nice. Due to the coin shortage, when we gave her cash, she tried to fish out change from her tip jar, which was very considerate of her (we let her keep the change :) ). I've had bad experiences with coin shortages before and this was the first time I met a cashier that tried to take out change from her tips. Besides that, service was super fast; we were basically in and out of the shop in like 10 minutes. We only got the asada tacos and they were surprisingly very juicy and tender. I think a lot of places make it too dry and bland, but this place definitely broke that stigma for me. We also got the cucumber lime agua fresca and that was super delicious. Very refreshing cucumber taste and then the lime hits after. I will be back and also send my friends and family here! read more

I have currently visited this establishment multiple times. I have tried different items in the menu. And I am not been let down. The carne Asada is so tasty. The cabeza is so yummy. And the carnitas oh my god good. But alas the menudo is a delicious go to. Most tacos and burritos are served with a side of grilled onions and some grilled green chilies. And I completely appreciate it. I have to put a slice of grilled onion on all my bites. There Salsa's are so good too. I'm in love with the Chile de Aciete! I put that all over my tortillas and dip it on my menudo. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I'm so happy Tacos Manuel has joined our community here in anahiem. And I appreciate their friendly faces and ready to serve attitude. They are always pleasant and patient. Don't just go in and get tacos TRY everything! Or Get tacos and something else. Saw the reviews and i live off of Euclid, so i decided to give this place a try. Glad i foubd this place, $1.50 per taco was surprised because its not a truck and i thought they would be more.
