First of all, even though it's a quick serve food truck, the woman working there was so attentive, helpful, and sweet. Got us anything we needed and offered us help multiple times as we sat by the truck. Asada fries were great, all the salsas were flavorful, and the quesatacos were also awesome. Al fresco dining, it gets busy close to closing. There is a decent amount of tables next to the truck. They also have pickled onions if you ask! Truck kitchen looks super clean too.

This is a local food truck that serves up delicious Mexican food! I got 3 tacos (asada, birria, and al pastor) and a horchata. The horchata was huge and they offered free refills today. The prices can't be beat and the staff are very nice. I'm not usually in this area but would definitely recommend this food truck if you are. They had a few picnic tables set up so you could eat there if you want.

Best quesadilla and guacamole ever in Arizona history!! Very kindly handed out free soup My husband loves the bean burritos. It was a nice day to sit outside in the cold and enjoy sodas. Service is top quality, sweet girl that helped us make sure we had everything we needed!!

I have been to Tacos 86 food truck for several months now and they've been a favorite until now. I was eating my carne asada burrito when I took a bite and found staples inside of the burrito. Wtf? What a health hazard! Imagine if I had swallowed that!! Their food is very good but please, be careful! This is the one and only time that I have had this happen! I would love for it not to happen again!

Still love coming here. They remain consistent. I pick up my wife from artistry beauty co in Gilbert and we drive on down to queen creek and have some good Mexican food. Best in the area!

I found my new favorite spot for Carne Asada Fries! They are crispy fries with an amazing amount of meat and cilantro and onions. The fries are super flavorful and I really liked the green salsa. They were a great deal for the portions, and they allowed me to switch the nacho cheese to shredded cheese which made these even better! They have a great variety for a taco truck and great prices and portions in my opinion. My wife got the pastor and asada tacos, and they were also filled with a perfect amount of meat. The meat has amazing flavor and the quality tasted very fresh! The wait was not to bad at all either for a taco truck. It took about 15 minutes for our order and everything was fresh. The taco truck is located right on an old parking lot; which is a little hard to pull into but once you're in parking is not any issue! I cannot wait to go back! They also have patio chairs and tables to sit at as well.

One of our new favorite spots in QC! Its a taco truck, so expect a lot of frills. And the place is poppin' so you will want to expect a 20-30 minute wait depending on your order... but its worth it as the tacos are delicious and they crank out orders super fast considering the volume. This place is amazing and definitely deserves the great ratings. We had the carne asada fries and the carne asada, el pastor, and chicken tacos. All of it was amazing. My parents are from Yuma and I miss the street tacos from Mexico, this definitely filled that craving I also got a horchata and OMG chefs kiss, sooo good food was fresh and hot, salsas were good and they got our food out fairly quick. Food was very good. Hot and made to order! It is in a parking lot and if you're coming from the south, the entrance sucks but the food is worth it. Only complaint was the music was so loud the cashier couldn't hear me ordering. Will visit again read more

A food truck in the parking lot of an old plant nursery? Why not? We've certainly had better Mexican food, but we enjoyed our meals and were very happy with the prices we paid. Although we felt that the food was on the average side, we must highlight that the homemade chips and salsa that accompany your meal are incredible. They've got those nice thick crunchy homemade style tortilla chips and their green salsa was UNBELIEVABLE. They also have limited outdoor seating if you wanna meat up with some friends for dinner there. Good place that I'd go back to if I was in the area. read more

Literally the only place we eat tacos in San Tan! We eat here ever my single week. At this point we've had every single thing on the menu and it's all bomb! The service is swift and everyone's super sweet! The food is made fresh and portions are hefty. My fave are the Birria tacos and carne asada fries! Don't forget to get a churro and horchata! The food was really good, and the prices were reasonable. I think they were either running behind 30 minutes or the times were wrong in Yelp, but I called, and they answered stating they would be there in 30 minutes and they were. This is not surprising once you learn that the owner of Yum Rockets is a Cordon Bleu graduate and has been a chef for 20 years. The concept is a modern take on Retro/Vintage Diners. Serving gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches, french fries, and more. It's a family-run business which is another nice perk. Of the various burgers on offer, the California Gold sounded the most enticing. A craft blend patty served with signature sauce (similar to Thousand Island), American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and bacon guacamole. Served on a brioche bun. Just one look and you know it will be delicious - and it was. Everything about it screamed fresh, high-quality ingredients, and expertly grilled. If they had a bricks-and-mortar restaurant, it would be your new destination for burgers (luckily, they offer catering, too!). We also ordered the Inferno Cluck which is their take on Nashville hot chicken, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato, pickle, jalapeno, crunchy onions on a 10-inch hoagie. Honestly, unless you were just starving, this is big enough to split with someone. It's a huge sandwich, all the more so with the generous side order of fries. I love spicy so I asked them to add their Raising Pain sauce. It does kick things up a notch and since it is served on the side, you should get it too. The chicken was perfectly fried and seasoned. I ended up abandoning the hoagie and just focusing on the generous portion of chicken. YUM! Several types of fries are on offer. The fries are SO crisp. These are exactly how you want fries to be served. I tried customizing mine to the ginger wasabi fries but they were sadly out. We ended up upgrading to the Yum Yum fries which are smothered with their house-made cheese sauce, chopped ground beef, diced tomatoes, diced onions, and gold sauce. Delicious but a meal unto itself. We also had the Arizona fries which are the spicy version with Chipotle aioli and jalapenos. Delicious but a meal alone. The website listed some yummy-sounding dessert options but they had been crossed off the sandwich board when we visited. Perhaps they only do dessert for catering events now. Although based in the San Tan Valley, Yum Rockets pops up around the Valley. You can find their upcoming schedule on their website. Truly one of the best out there!

Showed up for late lunch on NYE, missed the closing early sign as we walked in but we were greeted by "L" she said to call her L since her name was a bit difficult. She told us to grab a seat and she followed up with chips, salsa and menus. The menu was vast so you will find something you like. The restaurant for inside dining had about 13 tables and another 12 tables on the patio, looking forward to that opening up in a couple of months. We ordered Menudo and mixed fajitas. The portions were large and both dishes came with amazing flavors. This was my first time getting fajitas with cheese on top, it was a nice touch, but I think it took away from the flavor of the meat. The shrimp, steak and chicken were all cooked to perfection. The menudo was on point and great to know that there is a place close by that we can get it at any time. The only turn off for me was the salsa for the chips. They were more like hot sauce and I have experienced this before, but was not what I was expecting, next time maybe I will ask for some pico to go along with the chips. We will be back, I think there are another 98 items on the menu we need to try and would be great to have L as our server again. Thanks for letting us sneak in at the buzzer as you were closing, no pressure for us to hurry up and eat so they could close. We understood and didn't hang out we ate and on our way.

When I walked in, the place was pretty crowded with a great mix of locals and tourists. They have tons of options, from prepackaged pork to fresh cuts you can order directly from the butcher. Since I was on my motorcycle and had limited space, I couldn't stock up like I wanted to. I ended up just grabbing a small pack of the jalapeño bacon and some of their beef jerky. Both were absolutely delicious! The staff was super friendly, too. There are so many options here that I'm definitely going back to try some new stuff.
