I absolutely love this place! Fantastic staff and excellent food! You know it's a great place when you find locals here and familiar faces every time you walk in! Also--just in case the crazy lady from St Patricks Day comes here to rag on the staff... She was insane and yelling at everyone bc she and her crew didn't get a table at this SELF-SEATING facility. They didn't notice a table outside and somebody got it. She went absolutely nuts, followed and chewed out the guests at the table. Staff handled it so well. Came in for quick beer ! Had no idea that it's Tailgater's now haha ! I was surprised plus it was nice little chill spot before but now got another good spot for crawfish;) and fried pickles and some beer right by the crib. ;) read more

Wing special on Monday is always fun. Friendly atmosphere and staff make foe a good outing. Kid friendly early.

First timers yesterday. Walked in and saw they were really busy at dinner time which we expected. Sat ourselves at the only table available which was a tall table near the bar. After waiting a bit a waiter/bartender seemed put out that we only wanted a soda and a water. Hmmmm.. ok Drinks came out and noticed the same guy making a point to visit with the table next to us while we waited for him to take our order. After waiting sometime we asked someone to pls take our order Soon Lulu came and took our order. She was apologetic for his behavior and made sure we were well taken care of the rest of the evening. This place is a great neighborhood bar and grill. The food never fails to impress, The Cajun Melt, Hamburger Steak and The wings are some of my favorites, but everything on the menu is great. Service is atrocious! Never the same waitstaff and poorly trained. I get it's a sports bar, but simple service is not happening at this location. My husband eats here on a weekly basis, as the food is good but you better be prepared for bad service. Today I was given a burger and the bottom bun was broken apart, couldn't pick up the burger. Requested another bun, never received. my husband walked back to the kitchen door and requested twice. Finally, the gentleman who busses the tables came over... at that point I was done. Every time you go into this location, it is never the same staff. Our waitress this time just continued to hang out in the kitchen... hardly saw her on the floor. We had to get the bus guy to bring us the check! Get it together Tailgaters as your food is good... invest in your employees, gave a manager in the building at lunch time to help with quality control issues, and checking on tables! read more

This place is GREAT! Great atmosphere for watching sports, food portions are HUGE and priced better than most places out there today....surf and turf for $13.....wow! A manager actually came by and checked on us....that's is very RARE in even fine dining restaurants these days. Our server Cat is about as pleasant as anyone can be! We will be regulars here!! It took us about 45 minutes till our server came to take our drinks, no physical drink menus and the online menu only shows beer so there's no clue what or if they served cocktails. After we were finally served our appetizers, my fiancé was disgusted to find a hair in her mozzarella stick. Of course we cancelled our order and left immediately. Sat at the bar ordered and beer and the fish and chips. They came out, under cooked. I told the bartender he had another order made but then I was punished for it by being ignored. My beer was completely empty and both bartenders passed me by several times avoiding eye contact. Food took a while, I asked for my tab then the food came out. We just left there without eating. Showed up. We were told to pick a seat. Two waitresses were walking around (and even being silly and trying to "scare" customers coming in from the patio) and no one ever came to our table. Two other parties arrived, sat, and were waited on...but we never were. (It's a small place...so it's not like they didn't see us sitting there with two young children.) As we were getting up to leave a waitress finally asked if we had been "helped". I politely told her we were leaving because we had been sitting there "unnoticed" and two other parties came in behind us and had been waited on. The only response we got was, "Okay. Sorry." I used to really enjoy this location. The last few visits service has plummeted. Had to seat ourselves, waited forever before someone asked if we were taken care of. Chopped & screwed rap music playing in the back ground with cursing. Thankfully my 4 year old wasn't paying attention to it. Had to ask for everything from my server...refills, ketchup, a bucket for our crawfish tails. That should be a given. Order came out wrong, our crawfish was missing potatoes, they only brought out 1 pound. Did not pre-bus appetizer plates off the table or drink cups. Brought out new drink cups and left old ones on the table. Lots of employees running around but nobody checking back on tables. Several other guests were getting up and asking for things they needed. We did not order anything else even though we wanted 5 more pounds of crawfish. We just payed and left then headed to another crawfish spot. Please fix your service issues, we used to enjoy coming here on a regular basis and would like to continue if you can fix the service piece. read more

This wasn't the best dining experience. The hot wings were similar (but not as good) as 242. The food was more expensive than 242, and the service was really slow. I had high hopes for this establishment since it is near my home. I think I'll skip the food, and just stick to the bar. They do have a good beer selection on tap. read more

My family and I stopped in here today. Houston Astros was playing Boston Red Sox but my guy wanted to see the Michigan State game. They went out of their way to find a TV and put his game on which two other people in the bar wanted to see the game!!! our waitress Marissa was very attentive. She checked on us often and it was extremely Pleasant. The manager, Danny, came over several times to all of the tables including ours. The food was very good. Nice and hot when it came out. The drinks were good too. The atmosphere was a lot of fun and all of the workers seem happy to be there. That's important to me. Great casual spot for drinks and food. Love the chicken tenders and wings! Over 40 beers on tap. Lots of TVs if you want to catch a game. They just switched management over from being McCardle's pub so service is a little slower than the other Tailgater's but not bad. Would bring kids in the daytime. read more

I've been coming for over a year and a half (even ordered takeout during the closure) and on Tuesdays, I've always ordered the boneless wings for the special. Tonight, for the first time, I was told that I could not get the boneless wings special. The manager was rather rude about it. Please be consistent in your policies. read more
