The service was fine. It wasn't great, but it was fine. The food was largely a fail. Chicken fried steak was meh, but for here, it made it seem almost good. Breading way bigger than the meat, and the meat was touch and charred on the edges. The mash potatoes were warm at best, and the vegetables are clearly frozen and weren't fully heated and not seasoned at all. Crawfish tails were bland, tough, and way over breaded. Mac&Cheese was pasty. The catfish had raw batter. The regular fries aren't seasoned at all. Fish (of Fish and Chips)needed vinegar or something to wake the flavor of the super bland batter. Was there anything "good"? Yes. Cole slaw was good and seasoned well. The sweet potato fries (not the waffle type) was crisp and tasty. Their water was also good. This establishment stole $94.48 from me. I ordered through Grub Hub and they handed Grub Hub driver the wrong order and it was delivered to my home. The General Manager placed all the blame on Grub Hub; however, TAILGATORS refused to accept any of the responsibility of handing the wrong order to the driver. The asked me to save the food and bring it in only to still tell me they haven't received payment from Grub Hub. I showed them the order I placed with their establishment on my Grub Hub app and provided the receipt from the app. I'm addition, I showed them the debit from my bank app. Bottom line, TAILGATORS accepted no responsibility for their negligence of handing off the wrong food. I will no longer do business with an establishment that has no integrity or honor. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE! BEWARE!!!!!! read more

Food is good and they have fixed up the patio now with more seating and TV's. They have great daily food specials with a decent happy hour. Staff struggled at first when it was taken over but they have picked it back up. I've never been disappointed by their food everything is fresh and you can tell it's made from scratch. Plus it's really the only decent Bar/restaurant any where in the area to watch a game. read more

They no longer allow smoking on the patio after 5PM and we wondered why there were so few customers there tonight. I can only guess their financial loss on this decision. don't come here. crappy service that took over an hour. the food was crap too. the fries were hard & cold. the medium sauce is literally just bbq. the only good thing was the fried jalapeños and pickles, even then they were mostly just crumbs. still wasn't worth an hour way. was too expensive as well. good luck. read more

Everything seemed to be going fine until after we ordered. We received our food and our server disappeared. I had to wait about 8-10 min just to ask for a dipping sauce for my fish. I ordered the fish and chips and it was not worth it at all. The fish had NO flavor, to the point I had to drown it in tartar and ketchup to taste anything. The batter was very greasy and flavorless. While trying to eat we had to battle about 5 flies that kept attacking our table alone (we were inside). Refills were few and far between. Service: 2 stars Food: 1 Star For the price you could literally go anywhere else and get better food than there. Also side note I can't believe ANYONE pays over $6 for ONE pound of crawfish! Can't give 0 stars. Ok, we have been to this location twice to see if it had better service than the one off Egypt. First time ok, they were busy. This time...Not! We had to wait for a table to empty, but several tables left at once on the patio and no one came to clean them...so we waited, approached a couple of employees to get it cleaned off, but to no avail, took 15 waiting for a table to be cleaned off. The busser would clean one and leave. Sat down party of 5 on the patio area. Waitress appeared, no smile or welcoming attitude, took our drink order, two ask for water with lemon, after asking for lemon repeatedly it finally came after our meal arrived. Waitress brought beverages and took our appetizer orders, loaded fries and fried mushrooms no spice. Mushrooms and fries arrived, the mushrooms were spicy asked to replace them. New mushrooms arrived after we were eating our meal, asked to take them off my bill, she just walked off mid sentence. Seriously? Food arrived- 1. 3# crawfish, asked no corn, guess what corn was on the tray, not that big of a deal. 2. Fajita tacos, cheese was so minimal and melted to where it became an actual part of the tortilla, hard, gross, asked for more cheese to put on top. Fajitas were stone cold, gross. 3. 2# crawfish, no problems. 4. Pound of fried shrimp, plate had six shrimp on it and green tartar sauce (come to find out they put cilantro in their tartar sauce and something sweet) asked for the rest of our shrimp, 15 minutes later they arrive. 5. Shrimp tacos didn't have the sauce on them, asked for sauce. These are somewhat simple things to correct, but what got us the most was the lack of customer service in regards to our issues, legitimate ones, but the waitress could have cared less and should remember we are her paycheck! She even brought us an adult beverage that was not ordered, but charged us for it. Yes we asked for a manager, never once apologized, no smile either, just a glazed look. The manager did rectify our issues, but no apologies, ever! We waited an hour for our food and they were not busy, table adjacent to us had their beverages but finally gave up and left. One table beside us left after waiting for their food, they paid for apps and drinks and were out. As I said several times we were speaking to our waitress and she would just walk off.....what the heck? We were very disappointed with the entire 2+hours that we were there. We usually enjoy going, but Raven is the worst server we have ever had. Very rude and impatient. I'm shocked they allow her to work there. Just terrible. Asked her 4 times to bring wipes to wipe the wet gunk off the table. Her response "Its going to be sticky." Ugh.. The last customer left milk all over the table. My husband finally went and grabbed napkins and we cleaned it ourselves. Never asked if we needed refills. Threw the bill down on table. Seemed pissed we handed her a coupon. Just awful. read more

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend. We probably would not have visited this place if I knew Tailgators took over. The service was seriously lacking. The guys who kept cleaning off our table during our meal did a good job but our waitress rarely came by our table. She was very polite but would continuously walk past our table to check on tables around us and not come by our table or the table behind us. I ordered a michelada with modelo, which was just beer, tomato juice and a lime. No flavor or seasoning. Just bland. We blew that off as not a big deal because we had heard great things about this place on the Nextdoor app and wanted to try the crawfish. The crawfish was a huge let down. Most of them either had a fishy taste or were way too spicy! Not a flavorful spicy, but burned my lips spicy. The crawfish were also very tiny and would fall apart when we would crack open the tails. Ordered 5 pounds for two people and barely ate 2 pounds between us. The only upside was that the potatoes with the crawfish tasted pretty good. Food is good, but let's just say the waitress with red hair is very rude. Came in with a coupon to get wings everything we asked for she did say yes just walk away in a rude attitude as if she doesn't get paid for her job. I don't care about workers being on their phone but just let me point that out. Maybe get a new waitress or train her to not be rude. read more

This place has been nails for us for the last 6 months. Enjoy the place atleast 2 times a week. Last few times service has been very poor. Showed up today, April 2 to sit on patio with my 3 pound dog in a carry case. Was told as of April 1 they no longer allowed dogs. Very unhappy. Had to leave and try another place. read more
