Not sure if I ordered the drink wrong or mine was made incorrectly but my milk tea wasn't good I ordered the oolong milk tea without the tiramisu foam, which they said they can definitely do with boba. 50% sweet since it was caramel boba and regular ice It was a good size for around $5 But my milk tea tasted it really bitter and not like a tea bitterness. It has a weird herbal metallic aftertaste and with oolong, it's more of a roasted taste so unless they used a different tea, I had a hard time drinking it. This location has the best tiramisu foam AND cheese foam ever! I've had a couple of other places even other Tan-Cha locations and they either make it too salty or too sweet. I even had a buttery flavor tasting one before and that was disgusting! I love this location it's great ambiance! It's in the heart of Ktown! The only difficulty part is the parking. Parking is horrible around that area and they don't have a designated area to park so I usually get dropped off and then picked up once I have the order. I had the fruit tea- it was good and tasted fresh! However I'm giving 3 stars for service.. I ordered my drink with lychee jelly. A few min after, as they're prepping my drink, they tell me that the they'll give me the lychee jelly on the side because they can't put it in my drink. Nice, clean boba shop in the heart of Ktown. My go to drinks are a black tea with boba or a tiramisu foam milk tea! I would personally ask for less sugar because their drinks are on the sweeter side for sure. They also serve crepe cakes from Lady M, so it's always a nice plus to have those slices there if you're in a cake mood. The cheese foam components the tea very well! I've also gotten their uji green milk tea with tiramisu foam which I believe is a part of their seasonal menu. This drink was amazingly good. The tiramisu foam kind of tastes like a chocolate, light sweet foam and it went really well with the drink. I also got this with boba and the boba was soft and chewy. I would recommend this if you like matcha and sweet drinks. If you are not a fan of tiramisu or cheese foam, there is an option where you can opt out of it. Their cups are SUPER cute, neat, and convenient! This is probably the first boba shop I've been to that has a cup cover with a section where you can sip your drink(it's adjustable and has a cover) and a hole for your straw.
