Came in for taco Tuesday, ordered 4 tacos, and was disappointed that the taco of the month isn't included in the taco Tuesday specials. My favorite taco was the pastor, but I wish it had pineapple to go with it. I don't think the carne asada was worth paying double, while taco Tuesday was available, I would have rather ordered 2 tacos included in the deal. Also tried the Mexican candy shot, it was good, but I wouldn't do it again for $8

I was really craving taqueria-style tacos for lunch and decided to try Taqueria La Ventana after seeing the good reviews. I'm from the very bottom tip of South Texas where there is a taco place on every corner, so I'm picky when it comes to tacos. When we arrived, the service was great, super kind and helpful. He walked us through the menu and made recommendations, which we really appreciated. I also loved the ambience and the small, cozy feel of the restaurant. It felt like we were in Mexico. We started with chips and queso, which was a white queso and pretty good. I ordered two bistek tacos with guac and cheese. While they were generously filled, the corn tortillas were pretty dry and the bistek was fattier than what I'm used to, making the tacos feel a bit underwhelming. We also tried the chicken quesadillas that had a slight sweetness to them. The flour tortilla was good, but next time I'd probably go with a regular cheese quesadilla or try a different meat. I'd be open to going back again, but overall it didn't quite live up to the hype for me.

What a great spot! I'm a sucker for good tacos and even more of a sucker for great tacos at a steal of a price - check out those specials! The service was pretty good, especially for a lowkey spot. The vibes were awesome, with the outdoor seating and the twinkly lights. That being said, I'm not sure what their winter setup looks like. I'd happily come back any time!

Pastor Bowl, Lengua Bowl Ugh there was a deal on doordash for the bowls (buy 1 get 1) and I made the mistake of going for it. And it was very much not nearly as good as their tacos. And I discovered I am definitely not a fan of their lengua. But still will be my to go taco spot! Learned my lesson on the bowls though--not for me sadly

Haven't been in awhile, but so happy to return on a sunny afternoon on New Year's Eve. Quick, prompt service at the window. We ordered tacos, burrito, beverages & ate on the patio. My fav has always been shrimp & am loving the new grilled version for the taco & burrito ~ scrumptious All generous portions, chips & queso were also so tasty! Wasn't too busy & enjoyed our fantastic food & music!

Haven't been here in a minute. Still good. More expensive but still good. Had the elote, marg on the rocks and tacos de bistek and pastor and delicious. Perfect ambiance for a nice night out on the patio. Came before stars game so busy, but usually not super busy

Amazing authentic street taco place in Dallas, they server breakfast tacos all day, I was surprised the cheese, egg, chorizo one was my favorite over Barbacoa and Chicken. They were all good, the breakfast one was just delicious and the most filling. I also got Elote and there was plenty in the side portion which could have been shared with someone! I paid $13 for 3 Tacos and Elote, the food comes with 3 sauces and with the quick and friendly service, it's a great alternative to your regular Downtown lunch spots. Bonus! The taco spot offers 2 hours of parking validation.

I was here for Cinco de Mayo - i cannot put in words how every single taco was festival of flavour. The crunchy onion, cilantro, lemon, sauces, and the taco together were just the perfect concoction- it was so hard to not keep going for more and more. The he mango margarita was yummy - there was something special about the tajin rim. It was also sweet and sour in addition to salty and spicy. The service was great - we were so grateful to a staff member who helped us get tacos faster because we were in a rush and there was a long line. The ambiance was a lot of fun for 5/5 - DJ, lights, food, decoration!

Stopped by for breakfast tacos and loved them. Had potato, egg and cheese. And chorizo, egg and cheese. Both were great. The tortillas seemed fresh. And the salsa was some of the best part. Typically I am a verde fan but the rojo had a deep flavor and a great heat!

This taco window is 110% LEGIT! Simple menu, mainly focused on street tacos...everything I have had has been fresh and delicious. Love the barbacoa tacos with pico de gallo. Their guacamole is also extremely fresh...in fact nothing is premade. Fast and friendly service - always with smiles - and the prices are very reasonable. Most tacos are under $3 each. Check out this local gem!

Stopped by the Dallas Farmers Market and grabbed a taco and a drink here. There's plenty of seating in the market, which makes it a nice spot to take a break. The taco, unfortunately, was little underwhelming--lacking flavor. But the Spicy Habanero Pineapple drink completely made up for it. It was amazing! Sweet, spicy, and refreshing with just the right amount of heat to give it a kick. I'd come back just for that drink.

This place is a vibe, great food, great drinks, and great customer service. Was in town visiting from Southern California, and I was impressed. This is a must and whenever I return to Dallas again definitely hitting it up.

Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.
