I crossed the street after taking my car to get new tires for a quick bite. Tarme has quite a bright and open layout, it's located off of a busy intersection. They weren't too busy this early afternoon, I ordered the tri tip baguette and they brought it to my table it was good and filling enough. The staff were very friendly, also very attentive. I was the only person there at this time.

Look at that solid plate of angus beef kebob and luleh combo! Came with hummus, salad and grilled tomatoes. A surprise was the fresh piping hot pita bread that came out. Delivered fresh and puffed up like a balloon straight to our table. I also love they have a separate parking lot with a lot of space. This area is a bit difficult with parking so this made it very easy. Also the fruit drinks were nice. Everyone here was very friendly.

Small place with limited parking. Dinning in, you would order first and pay and get a number and find your seat. They will bring the food to you It's best to order for pick up if you don't intend to dine in. The food itself was clean and fresh. Great flavoring. Fattoush salad came with a really light and tangy dressing. The beef strip meal was really good, we got half rice and fries. fries upheld the trip home from Glendale. The rice has a great flavor to it, like coconut oil. The service was great and friendly. The establishment is clean and there is always someone available to ask for anything you would need.

Start off by the parking lot being full of random high end cars, with about 10 people in the place, nowhere to park. The food is seasoned well and the garlic was good but just feel for the price its like 6 oz of chicken which is crazy. Also asked for hummus as a side and they gave me double rice which I couldve just cooked at home. Everything is fresh its just nothing special and not worth the price in my opinion. Was giving it about 2 and a half stars but decided to round up. Elenas is much better won't make this mistake twice.

MUST KNOW: Great food and service and lots of free parking! Fast take-out service. Here are our 5 Star FAPS: Food (F): The Angus Beef and Chicken Kabob plate can be quite pricey (about $30), but it's large portion where two it was enough to feed two people! We thought the angus beef was better, but both meats were juicy and tasty! We also got the Greek Salad! It's also a large portion to share! Ambiance (A): Clean, self-searing areas! Lots of natural light from the windows. There are a lot of seating options inside and outside. Parking (P): Lots of free designated stalls! For the restaurant. Service (S): Kind and fast service! We did a take-out order, and they had the food prepared and ready in less than 15 minutes! Overall, we'd recommend Tarme as a great Mediterranean option in Glendale!

The food was absolutely phenomenal. Great presentation and portion, and high quality. The service was good, although we were caught off guard by the tipping before service. Very uncomfortable when you have to tip for service that hasn't been provided yet, plus someone staring at you as you do it. Other than that, great restaurant. read more

Plates are good. Get the kebob's. The wrap is not like the picture on the menu board. It's like a burrito. Haha. They are so slow. You should order ahead otherwise you'll wait an eternity for your order. read more

I found this place as a recommendation from someone and I just love it. I don't live nearby but whenever I come out to Glendale for work, I try to find a way to eat here at least once. I really like their Falafel plate. The portions are generous and the falafel is perfectly spiced and cooked. I like their hummus and pita as well. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. You don't have to worry about sitting or standing too close to anyone in case you are worried. I can't wait to go here again and try different dishes. read more

It was my first time trying Mediterranean food from Tarme yesterday April 5th and it was beyond amazing. I love Mediterranean food and have visited many restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley, but the selection and quality here is superb. The owner Shant and accompanying staff were attentive, hospitable, and kind. The portions for the chicken kabob are generous, fresh, and flavorful. I ordered the kale juice and it is also refreshing and tasty. This is my second time visiting and I ordered not only food for myself, but my mother. I will definitely become a regular now. read more

Ive taken my time and I have come here a couple of more times before writing this. The owner an older lady with light colored eyes and nails done is very rude. Once she had her friends over and she had one of her Latina employees serving them and she treated her like trash. I really refrained myself from intervening and advocating for her employee but don't feel that's how you should treat anyone no matter how much you're paying them. Today I was standing there she didn't acknowledge my existence, didn't make eye contact, took my order like a drill sergeant. Don't think she was racist towards me because she treated an Armenian lady in front of me the same way. I like this place and I don't want to stop giving them my business because her daughter and husband are so nice but if she's not made for a service job then she should stay away because it's really upsetting. read more

Always find myself coming back to this place! Flavorful, Affordable, Clean and Hospitable!! Food is always fresh, has a nice 'clean' feeling, not fatty or greasy, and good portions. Definitely recommend the Beef Luleh combination plate with the Angus for those trying the place out as well as the baklava!! Has a nice outdoor patio for those wanting some fresh air as well. Staff is always welcoming and the expediter Shant is always attentive and accommodating when possible. Overall always satisfied when I grub here as well as my friends and family too!! read more

I've been driving past this place for awhile. Finally went with a friend for lunch. I'm picky so I was happy that the cashier was able to accommodate my crazy order. I wanted the angus beef wrap but with the salad wrap insides but omitting a bunch of stuff. It mostly came like I asked. The angus beef was so yummy and tender. My friend ordered the Greek salad which she said was perfectly dressed and she loved it. She also orders the Mutabbal which is smoked eggplant & tahini purée with olive oil tomato & parsley. You use pita pieces and dip. It was SO GOOD! We liked the decor. The bathroom was clean. Everyone was nice. I'm already planning my next order. read more

Our friends come here a lot and kept telling us about their "fried fish" (Branzino Fish), that it's a must. We decided to finally try this place. 1st. they were very clean. 2nd. everyone of the employees, servers, and owners were all wearing a mask. Wanted to make sure all the customers were also wearing a mask. Even if you have to go get more napkins from the counter, I had to wear a damn mask. (It was brought to my attention)... (but my hands were dirty, greasy, and I needed a napkin to clean so that I can touch and put on my mask) 3rd. They do not have ranch dressing. I love ranch with my fries. This place had the best french fries I've had. Having those fries with ranch would be heaven to me. Lastly, yes, the fried fish was absolutely delicious. I must of ate most of the bones, it was that good. Could of used a bit more salt, and a bit less on pricing. Almost $30 ($27.99 to be exact) a dish for fast food is a little too much. Everything else is a lot more reasonable. I do recommend, and would love to return and try some of their other stuff from the menu. They had a huge selection of so many mediterranean dishes. read more

An enjoyable experience for lunch with fresh food and friendly service. This isn't the fastest place so plan for just over an hour if you get a plate instead of a wrap, but the quality has been consistent and food is tasty (I keep returning). Glendale fast casual, but no flip flops or beach bums (a good thing) Portions are good, plates will fill you up, it costs a bit more, but you get your money's worth Salad is fresh, no wilted greens here Chicken Luleh plate is nice & tender with just the right amount of seasoning Dining area is clean, AC can be inconsistent in some parts on hot days Parking can be challenging here and the lot has some odd spots. Carl's Jr. style service where you order at the register and have a number at the table, kiosk at the table could expedite the process Apple Pay accepted here, very nice read more

Yo! This place is where it's at! Looking for the best portions, price and flavor? I was and kept hopping around till we found this place. Quality & big portions (4 skewers really means a tray full of food) keep us coming back and no delivery fee if you live in glendale when you order on the phone! The Angus skewers and the grilled chunk chicken skewers are the best in town. The luleh kabobs were too spicy for my kids. Fresh and delicious!! Thank you for the friendly prices fam!!! read more

Talk about knocking it outta the ballpark. This location is conveniently established on Glendale Blvd with plenty of parking. The staff at reception was great and answered my questions. The food was terrific, fresh, delicious, flavorful and very filling. I got the combo shwarma plate and a side of four falafels. The falafels were super fresh and hot. Price/quality don't match. The quality is ok price is high and the amount of serving is really small. I got the Shawarma combo and both the meat & chicken were pretty dry. It was during lunch time so I thought it would be perfect juicy. The restaurant wasn't busy, maybe 10 people total while it can probably seat 100 people, even with only 10 people the service was really slow, they forgot to bring half of our order so we had to go back and ask for it. Unfortunately I won't be coming back here since this was my 2nd time and I had more or less the same experience for both times. I attached a photo of a to go beet relish, there are only two slices. I have never been anywhere that they would put 2 single beet relish slices in a container.... this is sad :( read more

They have some great food (falafels are gross though. Don't bother!) here but really need help with their customer service. They are completely rude. We give them a try every few months + are then treated poorly so we go elsewhere. Maybe we will stop giving them a chance. read more

The food is well seasoned and the presentation is great if you are dinning in. I love the spiced salmon plate! You can definitely taste the quality of the meats they serve as well as the ingredients they use. Been a fan ever since their opening and I have not been disappointed. This place is absolutely delicious! The food is so savory, tasty, and freshly made!! The workers are beyond informative and with such a positive and kind attitude, super attentive. And the environment is very clean and many options with where to sit. Music is not too loud or too low, and very peaceful! I've been going to Tarme for years and have ordered from them for catering events multiple times. Recently, my friend and I decided to visit the restaurant so she could enjoy some comforting soup, as she wasn't feeling well. The service at the counter was friendly and efficient, which started things off on a good note. However, when the server brought my friend's soup to the table, it was lukewarm instead of hot. We politely asked for it to be reheated, but the server rolled his eyes as he took the bowl. While this was a bit off-putting, we assumed he might just be having a rough day. Things escalated when my lunch was served. I had ordered the shawarma plate, but the server brought me the kabob plate instead. When I explained the mistake, he insisted repeatedly that I had ordered the kabob. He then grabbed the plate from me, rolling his eyes and making an exasperated huffing noise. At that point, I told him not to worry about it, as we were on a tight schedule and needed to return to a training session. Despite this, he kept insisting that he would fix it. I reiterated that it was fine and that I would just eat the kabob plate to avoid further delays. The situation took a surprising turn when the server stormed off and told the owner that I had used foul language toward him--something I absolutely did not do. The owner approached our table, not to resolve the issue, but to confront me, claiming I had yelled and used inappropriate language. My friend kindly defended me, explaining that I had merely questioned whether my order was correct. Even so, the owner continued to question me, siding with the server and accusing me of mistreating staff. At no point was there an apology or any attempt to make amends for the poor service or the incorrect order. Instead, the focus was on defending the server's behavior, with the owner emphasizing that "employee abuse" would not be tolerated--an accusation that was entirely baseless. The whole experience was uncomfortable, especially as the server continued to stare at us throughout our meal. My friend and I left feeling deeply disappointed and pressured to leave. I am leaving a 2-star review instead of 1 solely because of the friendly encounter at the counter when we placed our order. Coming from a family that owns restaurants, I understand that this type of behavior can be corrected. While the food was okay, the overall experience overshadowed everything and did not allow me to enjoy my meal. I hope Tarme takes this as an opportunity to improve their customer service, as I have been a loyal customer for years. Sadly, it will be a long time before I consider dining or ordering from them again. read more

Wow, where should I begin. Let's start with the demeanor of the workers and the owner. The employees that work there are completely oblivious to what they should (NEED) to be doing at all times while working at a restaurant. However, I can't blame them entirely because one would think that they had at least an adequate amount of training prior to opening this establishment. After seeing how the owner operates and treats both his customers & employees, the answer to my assumption was, EH WRONG. The owner is completely arrogant, rude, unorganized, and has absolutely no idea how to run a restaurant. But then again, we don't reaallllyyyyy care about the people there AS MUCH as we do the food. Aside from the french fries and the shawarma sand-which, the rest is garbage. Food has ALWAYS (not exaggerating) arrived late and cold EVEN when I had ordered and eaten there, let alone through online orders!!!!!!!!!! I drive by Tarme everyday to and from work. I was exited for the opening so I can give it a try. 2 weeks after it finally opening I walked in around opening time. The decor and the layout of the eating area is really nice and well designed. The menu provides a lot of options from main dishes, plates, salads and side orders. Since it was my first time it was hard for me to choose. Im a huge foodie and love meat so I was hoping for the meat to be good. I order the tri-tip baguette sandwich and fatoosh salad. The sandwich was so so... i probably won't order it again. The meat was chewy and the didn't have a wow factor to it. On the other hand the fatoosh salad was really good. I would add some chicken on it next time and call it a meal. It's actually real food with real ingredients with the best taste ever thenowbers are super nice and down to earth and their food tastes soooo good I think this place is far better than any middle eastern Mediterranean restaurant anywhere. I personally don't eat wheat and grains and gluten and flour and this place doesn't use any of that in most of their food selections, what this mean s is that I can eat what I love without picking the same stuff as usual. I don't need to be afraid of hidden ingredients like sugar and flour and certain ingredients which make you fat if you know what I mean. But guess what, they were super, super slow and we only ordered a soup, a chicken plate and a sandwich. It took them 45 minutes to get the order to us. When a half hour had passed, I asked that they cancel the order but the "owner's wife" said that our order was coming up. I waited some more and took our food (to go) and left. The couple running the store when I came in were super kind and when I asked if the chicken or beef luleh was better the lady helping me was kind enough to give me one of each for no extra charge. Both the chicken and beef were very juicy if I had to choose one I would go with the beef as it had more flavor. I left feeling full and satisfied, I have not had food that has tasted this fresh in awhile especially from a spot that sells kabobs. I will be coming back!

The beef was a perfect medium with some pink, the chicken was still moist, and the beef felt like a good cut, so tender. The lula kabob and everything else was seasoned really well. My one gripe is the price and portion. $40 felt pricy and I really wasn't full at all after. I also wish they had more to go alongside the kabobs, like pickles or some sauces. Even a couple small sides would round it out and make the price feel better. Service was good, the chef at night was nice. nI'll be back if I'm in the area!

This paired really well with their tomato based red sauce (not ketchup by the way). I will say that the food did take about 30mins to be ready which is longer than we expected considering there was nobody there before us. The food finally arrived after what felt like an eternity, and unfortunately, it wasn't exactly worth the wait. I was expecting something that would at least make me understand why it took so much time. There are a few in the area such as Kara's, Sepan Chicken and Kabob Way at the same price range and top notch food and service.
