This is my fav Taiwanese restaurant near where I live! Their 卤肉饭 is bomb and is always my go-to . I usually get my order with their Rose milk green tea with boba. Unfortunately, I think their portions have gotten smaller since the last few times I've visited. They used to give more. As for their boba, the quality dropped imo. It used to be chewy and it would go through the straw easily. Now I find it difficult to get the pearls through the straw. Overall tho it's definitely still my go-to place for Taiwanese food! One of the best places to go for boba and other drinks! I got the jasmine green milk tea with two add-ins, boba and lychee jelly. The boba in particular was very well-cooked, with the right amount of chewiness and sweetness. The tea itself was great as well; it didn't taste like it was made from powder, but from actual brewed tea. It is an additional bonus that sweetness levels are adjustable. I retract my previous statement; judging the place for boba is dumb, and this is probably the best Taiwanese cafe style place in the area.

This cafe is not related to the Tastea chain. This is a hidden gem! They have very wide selection of items on the menu - tea, smoothies and even food! It seems like the one of the most popular item on the menu is Blueberry Yogurt Green Tea. I tried this and was very pleased with my order. They adjust sweetness level based on your preference - I got it half sweetened and it was perfect for me! Very refreshing and very flavorful. Their boba is made to perfection! Chewy and very flavorful! I really don't like hard/dry and flavorless boba. It seems like there's one person taking the order and making the drinks, so expect to wait a bit for your order. It's located in the same plaza as Red Palace KBBQ. I'm not sure how parking's like at night time, but I had no difficulty finding parking during the day time. read more

Anyway, I was surprised to see that a small little shop like this could have such great customer care. These people were laser focused ready when I walked right through the open doors. The tung-ting oolong tea is also fantastic but it's a little stronger than the osmanthus oolong. We were taking it to go so we sat near the entrance - very small area. I felt like you're not allowed to sit at the tables if you're dining out? But what happens if numerous people are taking their food/drinks to go?? It took awhile, almost 15-20 min to get 2 drinks and a small order of popcorn chicken. I had a jasmine milk tea boba with 25% sweetness and my bf had a mango slushie aloe vera with 25% sweetness (his tasted like 100% sweetness). I like that you can adjust the sweetness level because personally, I don't like my drinks too sweet. *Tip - If you check in through yelp, you get a free upgrade to a large!
