We were hungry and by the Fenway stadium when we walked by this place. I was impressed by all the high reviews for this place and a burger sounded amazing! The place gave off a retro vibe and we were able to be seated rather quickly. My friend and I both ordered the tasty burger. I added bacon to mine and order tots + coke for a combo. My friend got regular fries and a soda for her combo. Burger was cooked a beautiful medium which is what we like to see! It was indeed very very tasty. Best burger I've had in awhile! The tasty sauce is very similar to in and out burger sauce. My tots were cold though and broken up so wasn't too happy about that. The star of the show was the burger. A great place to eat before or after a Red Sox game. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich and the chicken was a nice, thick cut and the spiciness level was perfect: tasty, but not so spicy it made my eyes water. I also ordered a beef hot dog and it was great. My wife is gluten sensitive,so she ordered her Berger as a lettuce wrap. They had a good amount of lettuce and leaves that were large enough to allow you to eat it like a burger. They have a great craft beer selection on tap, including my favorite Fiddlehead IPA. I came on a weekday evening with 3 friends for a late dinner. It was more crowded than I had expected! Luckily, we found a table pretty quickly. I ordered the Starving Student Special, which came with a cheeseburger, fries, and a beer (I got a Miller High Life). Good for in the pinch or if I was in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to get these burgers. 07/14/2019 Came here after going on the Fenway Park Tour. Yes we were starving. I love this restaurant lots of sandwich options nice decor with pictures on the wall. Samuel L. Jackson from the movie Pulp Fiction, Henry Winkler The Fonz, and others decorated the walls there was a pool table too. I got the Chicky chicky Parm parm sandwich a Chicken parmigiana sandwich with mozzarella cheese and marinara sauce and a side of onion rings. I stopped by here with some friends for some late night food while in Boston last weekend. Seems like the place has a eat-in section and also a window outside to place orders to go. We opted to get food to go. I got the 'Big Tasty' burger combo. It came out to $10.97 including tax and came with fries and a drink. I ate it back at our hotel. Overall, it was pretty solid. The fries were pretty good; no complaints. The burger was pretty hefty and the lettuce and tomato on it seemed relatively fresh. The burger patty itself was pretty thick, which is good. Flavor was definitely solid and satisfying. Nothing really stood out a lot about the burger but there wasn't really anything offensive about it either. Overall, I'd give three stars. I think the combo I got was actually a bit overpriced at $11 for what you get. For under $9, I think I would give 4 stars. Cheers. read more

This was my first visit to Boston, and I had heard great things about Tasty Burger, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. When I greeted my server with a smile, he responded with a dry and unwelcoming demeanor. I asked for suggestions, and he dismissively recommended a plain burger, leaving me unsure if he was being sarcastic. After that brief interaction, I didn't see him again for the rest of my meal. When I needed refills, I had to go up to him myself. Noticing that he continued to ignore me, I asked another server for help, only to be told to ask my original waiter, who still didn't offer any assistance. Despite my attempts to get the attention of other staff members, they blatantly ignored me. The only time my waiter returned to my table was to bring the check. I left a 15% tip, which felt overly generous given the poor service. I wanted a receipt and waited at the table for ten minutes before finally retrieving it myself. As someone with experience in the service industry, I was deeply hurt and disappointed by the behavior of these waiters. This experience was not what I expected. Love the vibes here, but the burgers are not tasty. My boyfriend ordered a double burger (regular beef patties) and I ordered a veggie burger. We both took our first bites and looked at each other disappointedly. His was extremely bland (not very flavorful), and just overall very subpar. Mine was just... weird. They'd really do a lot better if they opted for Beyond burgers instead of whatever their veggie patty is. Fries were fine, nothing to rave about. Move aside Five Guys and Shake Shack, Tasty Burger has taken first place in my heart for all things burgers. This place is just amazing in every way from its food and service. I came here with a friend on a Friday night around 11 and they were pretty busy. There had a line for takeout, but no wait for sit down yet. They seated us instantly and got our food and drink orders in pretty quick. We ordered the Spicy Jalapeño and Rise and Shine Burger with Tater Tot Sides. The Jalapeno burger is good if you like spicy foods. The Rise and Shine is like an awesome breakfast style burger with its bacon and juicy eggs. The tater tots were also out of this world. Also, this place is for sauce lovers, they have a HUGE amount of selection in their sauce rack on every table. There was radish, ketchup, spicy ketchup, various hot sauces, and even Sriracha! There's a dine in section indoors and also a window outside if you plan on ordering takeout. Staff has always been helpful and friendly to me and my friends even on extra busy nights when there's a game going on nearby at Fenway Park. Definitely recommend the Big Tasty if you are feeling for a classic burger. The patty is juicy and seasoned to perfection. You can tell their veggies are fresh too. They also offer a Sack of 5 where you can buy these delicious burgers in bulk! It's a win win for your tummy and wallet! Also the 50/50 Fries and Onion Rings are the best of both worlds and they come out hot and crispy. Food: 4/5 My burger was a little salty today but I still ate the entire thing. The ingredients seem really fresh. The Big Tasty is a classic, would definitely recommend. Every table has a bunch of sauce options. I put Sriracha on literally everything so I like that it's an option at Tasty. The fries are nice & crispy. Sprinkle some of the fry seasoning to take it to the next level. You can get 50/50 fries & onion rings for $5 (see picture attached) which is cheaper than ordering them separately. The shakes are pretty simple, nothing special but I'll get one occasionally if I'm craving something sweet. Service: 5/5 Amazing every time. I had an especially nice server today and it really made my day :) Overall, this is the perfect place to go if you have drunchies or if you're just craving a late-night burger, since they close at 2am! One star for the horrible, rude, disrespectful service we got today at around 6/7pm. I've eaten at this Tasty Burger many times and have never had this experience before. I'm absolutely disgusted by how I was treated today. My friend arrived early and was seated inside at a 2 person table. When I arrived 5 minutes after, the waiter hadn't taken her order yet. Thus, we thought it would be alright to see if we can sit outside (the weather was amazing) and get the burger/fries/beer combo. We went to the outdoors ordering area and asked the cashier if we could order drinks. She said we could only order drinks inside for sit-in dining and couldn't order drinks for takeout. That made sense to us, so we went right back inside. Yes, we were obviously confused and made a mistake. I completely understand. But this doesn't justify what happened next. A new server, one different from the person who seated my friend initially, saw us and made a very exasperated face while dramatically rolling his eyes before approaching us. He was an older white man. This guy proceeded to be downright disrespectful in his behavior, snapping at us to ask us why we were back and what we wanted before my friend or I could even get a word in to explain ourselves. And once I mentioned we wanted to get drinks too, he looked at us in disbelief and very sassily asked if we even had IDs. If he had even given me a second to speak, he would have learned that my friend and I are 25 years old AND had our IDs prepared. He calmed down a little once we ordered, but it honestly felt like he was hovering over our table to get us out as quickly as possible. The second one of us finished eating an item, he very quickly just swiped the empty plate or wrappings off the table without a word. And whenever he had to say something to us, it was very forced and without any sincerity. I have no idea what crime we committed to be treated in this way. My friend and I agreed his behavior was extremely rude and uncalled for. All I wanted was a cheap but yummy burger to end the day with after working all day in the hospitals as a med student, and this rude treatment was the last thing I wanted to deal with. tasty burger has so many different types of burgers! i got the hamburger for $6.65 and their fries and a drink for an extra $4.25. the fries were thinner than normal fries, but just as delicious. there are a huge variety of sauces to choose from as well. during the week, the restaurant isn't too crowded, but street parking may be difficult to find. at night, the wait times can get pretty long. overall, their burgers are worth it. i'll be back to try their shakes and onion rings! overall rating: 9/10 read more

Convey how truly disappointed with service and policy. I am a frequent patron working in the area.  I brought in a paper gift certificate with $16.04 value remaining. There is NOTHING on the certificate indicating any expiration date. I gave it to the server today and he took it back to (assuming) check with manager.  He said he could not honor the paper certificate.  I paid the full bill thinking it wasnt a large amount. As i left the restaurant i thought more.. no expiration written on the certificate.... the certificate was a gift so the person that gave me gift just gifted  $34 and restaurant just took $16 value (original certificate value $50.00). I know manager can adjust any bill.  Truly disappointed, thinking $16 credit on principle should have been honored. You have lost a customer and likely others when they hear this poor experience. read more

Tasty Burger is a super reliable fast food spot to go to when I'm in Fenway. They consistently serve up some amazing burgers in a fun-filled environment with industrial decors inside this cool looking diner. When there's a Sox game, I tend to stay away because it gets crazy busy, it's a very touristy spot after all. I mean who doesn't like eating a burger at a place that pays homage to Pulp Fiction and has a huge mural of Samuel L. Jackson in it? The Big Tasty- I love it when you can taste each ingredient in a burger. It's simply just a cheese burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and I could do without the pickles but I'll take it anyways because everything's so fresh here. Chiky Chiky Parm Parm- A nice crusted chicken with gooey mozzarella and tomato sauce. It's didn't totally soak up and made the bun soggy. So good! Crispy Chicken- One of the most a cleanest tasting fried chicken I've ever tasted and it's topped with mayo, lettuce, and tomato inside a sesame seed bun. Yum. Overall Service: Super friendly! Literally one of the worst places to eat in Boston... The service despicable. The managers were rude and condescending. There's no way possible me and my family enter the restaurant not get seated and have an issue with bringing outside food in. I don't eat beef and certain other types of food. But I wanted to enjoy my meal warm with my daughter but was asked to leave in a patronizing tone. My daughter was force to eat her burger on a napkin smh I'm disgusted in the audacity!!! Don't tell me it's food safety issue when I seen 3 employees with there mask worn below there noses.
