This is a small spot in Antioch area. I've seen the place but never have thought to stop in and now we have. I think it's a family owned business. Anyway, so as you walk in you can order thru the kiosk or at the register. So we decided to eat in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just forewarning there's not a lot of tables inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've noticed people come in to pick up orders when we were there. But I felt like we brought in customers because there was no one in there but as we sat down people were in and out. Haha. I wish I had those powers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Anyways, I love how while you wait for your food they have board games on the table, so you're not anxiously or impatiently waiting (insert smile).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So when our food finally came it smelled so good. The portions are huge I'd say it's enough for two. My friend ordered the vegetarian Rasta pasta and I had the garlic noodles and Asian sticky prawns. The food was nice and hot. Not warm hot! Oh my gosh! It was scrumptious! I need to come back and taste other items on the menu. FYI, the price is not bad for a plate, $15-20 a plate depending on what you order. I ordered one of their tropical drinks, the mango flavored one. I have to be honest they need to work on that one because it just tasted really sweet and I couldn't taste the mango. It was good but the fruit flavor isn't there. Overall experience was great. I'm definitely coming back!!!

Wow! Just wow!!! I was in the mood for seafood but the turkey leg was calling my name & I answered! I ordered takeout... Watermelon Lemonade -5outta5 I wish I could buy it by the gallon. So refreshing, not too sweet, only thing missing was an accompanying shot. Collards 5outta5 Straight from Granny's kitchen. Tender & full of flavor. Turkey leg w/sausage & crawfish mac 5outta5 Off the charts! This was better than a serving from the now defunct Turkey leg Hut in Houston, TX. Turkey was tender & full of flavor. I don't know if it was the turkey, the mac or both but the smoke, herbs & seasonings almost had me speaking in tongues. If you like turkey legs #GoTaste&See

The food here is hella good I ordered the wing combo and it came with two sides; I chose Brussels sprouts and jambalaya and a side churro waffle. My husband got the Rasta Pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection and very flavorful . Yall gotta go show some love and support. The staff is friendly and respectful, [[HIGHLIGHT]]nice choice of music, a few table games[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], good portions and prices, and a [[HIGHLIGHT]]nice location for Antioch[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. We will be returning most definitely. Support, support, support! Power to my people .

We had the Rasta Pasta turkey leg and the Crawfish & sausage turkey leg....it was amazing! It was a lot of food. It was a meal for a couple. We will go back there really soon! The service was great!

Turkey leg with Mac n cheese

The chef a woman HELLOO I got the stuff turkey leg, chicken and waffle and a side of yams. Everything Tenderism! The chicken was so juicy and crispy. I'm like do they brine the chicken never had it that juicy. The fruit on top was plump and fresh! Was it picked today? The churro waffle amazing. No powdered sugar but it tasted exactly like a churro! The crawfish Mac n cheese with sausage was not skimpy at all. The yams were cut differently for me but could replace most of my families yams!! U order from a kiosk but she made sure to say hi from the back and smile. Her energy is everything. The blended drinks wasn't good too artificial for me but I appreciate the options here seriously. Could maybe replace the syrups with maybe a small company that makes them. We had the mango flavor and it stayed in my mouth. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Good music a bit loud but it allowed us to have a conversation without being heard by others here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So it wasn't that loud I would live to eat here again. They have games on the tables!! Helps forget the wait time which wasn't long but was a nice touch. $70 was a bit much but after diving in girl gon head it was worth it. Will be back. Thank you for the experience.

Growing up in Texas I have VERY high standards on BBQ/anything labeled, "Southern," and this place is THE SPOT!! We got the T-Rex leg and the meat was so tender! I've had many State Fair/Carnival Turkey legs and I've never had one with the meat fall off so effortlessly AND still have hella flavor! The pasta, lobster, and sausage added a unique flavor and was a delicious twist! Did I mention the Turkey leg was HUGE?! Literally the size of my forearm. They have margaritas and they are top notch! You don't even need to ask for a double shot like other places where they water it down. The peach cobbler was peachin and the crust was just right. The owners and staff were very friendly! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The mural they have on the wall was beautifully done and reflects the theme![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere is welcoming and I love the way they decorate for the holidays/time of year.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you made it this far in this review, what are you waiting for?! Order and dig into this southern style cookin!

A true hidden gem. Everything is delicious. I had the honey fried chicken over garlic noodles and I was not disappointed. I try to look for family owned restaurants, the ingredients are usually fresher, and the food is cooked with love and care. I found all of that here. The family who owns the restaurant are also the chefs. They are incredibly kind, and if you ask them for their favorites, they'll never steer you wrong. Please support black owned businesses. P.S The peach margaritas are epic

Service was excellent as well as the food. We had the sticky Asian shrimp with garlic noodles, fried Cajun fish with potato salad and macaroni and cheese. I especially loved the sticky Asian shrimp. Made fresh so the batter was nice and crisp with a sweet and lightly spicy flavor. I will definitely come back again.

Our server has been working at Old Mac's House over 50 years!! The ambiance is retro, with sports memorabilia decorating the walls. There's a full service bar which was busy. With your entree, you get fresh veggies (not frozen), pasta, soup AND salad with your meal. The portion of your meal is very decent for the price. You will NOT find a restaurant like Old Mac's House that serves a full meal at very reasonable price point anywhere at this point in time. Old Mac's is a rarity in this day and age. Prime rib - 5/5 The regular bit is decent, approx 8 oz. The extra cut is 16+ oz. The meat was succulent and tender. The flavor and taste of the rub was light on my cut, but I still enjoyed my prime rib. Rib eye - 4/5 A decent 10 oz cut of rib eye steak, seasoned with just salt and pepper. It was cooked to perfection. Very tasty and tender. Fresh Salmon (Cajun style) - 5/5 I was surprised with this selection on how generous the salmon fillet was. The Cajun spice was not spicy hot, which I prefer. The salmon was flaky and tender. Not hard and dry. I am so sad that Mac's Old House will be closing 6/22/25. Many people and families will be sad. Please visit the Old Mac's House before they close. Be aware the wait line starts before they open at 4pm. It is worth the wait. You will not be disappointed.

Their posted hours on the door as well as on Yelp say that they are open until 9 PM. When I walked in, there was no worker to be found. A young man emerged, and he looked confused. I asked if I could be seated and get a menu. He awkwardly said OK. After I sat down, he came over and said that the cook might leave early, and that I might want to hurry up and order. I politely excused myself and said that I would come back another time. I then drove to another nearby restaurant that also is open till 9 PM. The atmosphere was about middle ground, neither high end, but also not dingy or garish. In terms of service, everyone was friendly, willing to clear up confusions, and patient. -ORDER: 6PC TENDER COMBO; HONEY & SWEET BBQ- STRENGTHS *Both sauces, including their own honey lemon, and a more conventional BBQ were high quality. The honey lemon was unique, as it left the wings a bit dryer than a traditional sauce *The slaw was good. Not unique, but still executed well, being flavorful, cold, and fresh. *Their in-house mango passionfruit drink was unique, and rather good. It was a good refresher to cleanse my pallet in between bites. POTENTIAL POINTS OF IMPROVEMENT *The carrots and celery were... pathetic. The slices were equally thinner and shorter than my index finger. *The tenders beneath the sauce tasted like pre made tenders, as they tasted very similar to many other tenders I've had at various restaurants Conclusion: Wing bros in Antioch was a flavorful, above average quality experience with decent value for what you get.
