Went twice this weekend since we were nearby for a water polo tournament. Both times we walked in with no line, ordered our drinks and waited at least 5 minutes, for 2 drinks each time. Unacceptable. Drinks tasted great and made with high quality, so that's the only reason they get 3 stars. Otherwise it's a 2, barely. Combined with a Poke restaurant, so plenty of seating but also smells like steamed rice and fish inside. Would still go here instead of Starbucks, but only to support small business instead "the man".

I'm a huge fan of Blue Bowl and feel like nothing compares to theirs, but Alohana is on par with that. It's good if you want to take it to go and let it melt down a little to have that smooth consistency instead of fighitng with it and getting chunks at a time of the base. Definitely would recommend coming here after a long day at the beach or picking one up before heading to the beach to enjoy there. They also sell coffee and other random, but very cool, tchotchkes, clothes, art, that you wouldn't find at any other Acai bowl shop and it's very Dana Point.
