I would be VERY careful of this place. Drove my older car from Cali and it started having problems out here. Took it here to see if they could fix it. They quoted me $3k in repairs as if I wanted to refurbish my 02 beat up Camry lol. I said No and towed it to my mechanic in Cali who fixed it and none of what they quoted me was needed. Oh except for the OEM 02 sensor that was stolen from my vehicle and replaced with a grinded down one. Went to Ted Wiens in a pinch after one of my tires popped on the 95, it was the closest tire shop where I was so I stopped there looking to replace the tire, when I got there Clem was immediately super helpful and friendly. His expertise made the process super easy and quick, he picked out a tire that was compatible with the other ones I had and most importantly wouldn't break the bank, after signing some paperwork all we had to do was wait about an hour and a half and we were good to drive again. Would highly recommended this spot if you're near the area, ask for Clem he was phenomenal I wish I could give him more than 5 stars! just want to say we have been to this ted Wiens location for years since moving here 2015-present. but our visit on 4/15/25.will be remembered and will keep us going back. First of all we dealt with the Manager FRANK GUTIERREZ this man has the patience of a saint the job we had done was valve cover gaskets we arrived on location at 07:45-everything was completed by 1:15-1:30 p.m. became restless as all people do but it was well worth the wait FRANK made sure the job was done the right way as a matter of fact he told us that he would rather do it right the first time so as we did not have to come back. So far we have driven our car a few miles and it appears that the job was done correct he also gave us a quote and did not try to side talk for any extra cost ,the quote he gave is the amount we paid out the door.(HONESTY) THE PROFESSIONALISM WAS TOP SHELF all the questions we asked were answered, answers we could understand and we did not get the feeling that we were a bother to him. After being charged over 1.5 k on a smog test computer repair that was not causing any issues with driving performance and all system in working order, it was returned with a broken AC. After speaking with Clem B. And Ryan Hams (service mgr), no responsibility nor effort to even try to make this right was offered. When to have a flat tire repaired, I feel that they took more personal information that was needed for this type of repair ie: "who is your cell phone carrier" They put car on lift, circled white chalk around dry rubber cracks, tires are 3 years old, car stored in the winter in Utah and told me I needed to replaced the 2 rear tires and that they just would not repair the flat, because of the really minor starting dry rot. The wanted to up sale me 2 tires, when in Utah I have a warranty, that would prorate the unused wear. I will say that the manager and service writer were nice, however I felt the manager was pushing for a sale! I am visiting Vegas, will put the car back on the TowDolly, and do business in Utah. Did not even offer to prorate the wear, as I would have decided to get the tires here! No one likes to be taken advantage of. In closing , went to a tire shop up the street, and had the screw removed and tire patched. Your shop would have applied a patch/plug which is the lazy man's way! I have been coming to this location for years..... This last visit I was having my turbo charger replaced because my check engine light came on for this..... After Kenneth found the parts needed the repair was done.... Unfortunately I had to take it back because the check engine light came on again.... Well Ted Wiens has been reported to the BBB via my complaint And as expected, the response they gave is another bait and switch. Trying to blame another company for their mistake and showing Subaru Coolant pictures is so lame. Plus they are saying to the BBB that they just topped off my windshield wiper fluid but they totally filled it as it was very empty. They put Windshield wiper fluid into my coolant, which overfilled it, diluted it and ruined it. I went back there to Ted Wiens the same day and instead of looking into the coolant issue, 4 guys stood around the hood of my car and said they did not do it. They still refuse to admit it even though I have proof and I just wrote to one of the owners, Jennifer. It will be interesting to see what she has to say. This happened a couple of months ago already so if I do not get an apology from Ted Wiens and repaid for the Coolant Flush I had to do elsewhere, I will have to explore other options and places to report car repair incidents. read more

I usually go to this location as it's near my home' however this morning at 7 am on April 10th 2021 I brought my wife's car in for service right at the time they open. Their were no other cars in the bays or any other customers around' just my wife and I. I asked about having a wheel alignment on my wife's car and how long it would be. The Hispanic man at front counter said it would be two hours to get to it. I said there are no other customers, ? what are you taking a two hour break before you start work! He said we're very busy and I said what with make believe customers. My wife and I always come here for service, but we won't be coming any longer ' and you have lost a great customer for life. I don't know what happened to this location in between my visits. I went in earlier this month for an oil change and ended up feeling really disturbed by the experience. The visit did not start off badly. I was treated by the manager on duty, I believe his name is Yawnni. He was in the reception area and was welcoming. He was with another customer, so the other representative took my vehicle information. The wait time was estimated at 45 mins to an hour which was not bad. I sat in their waiting area. Not too long later, I was approached by the representative. He informed me that it was time for new tires. I was already aware and I let him know that I needed to wait a few weeks as I would be purchasing them with my tax return. He continued to push the issue by telling me I could sign up for their credit card. I declined and let him know that I did not want to open a credit account. He persisted by telling me that it was 6 months with both interest. I politely informed him that I just wanted to wait the few weeks. He was visibly irritated by my desicion and walked away. Upon completion of the service, I paid. He handed me a paper and sent me on my way. During my past visits, if there were any issues with my vehicle someone would discuss it with me. This representative didn't say anything, so I drove off believing my only issue was the tires. I arrived at home and looked at my receipt. I flipped the service order over and was shocked at how many things were written on it. I do not work on cars, so I would not know what matters are severe and need immediate attention or what is just suggested at a later date. That representative was so upset that I did not want a new credit account that he completely disregarded what had been part of their customer service routine this far. That is not how a business should operate. I am saddened by the state of this location and do not believe I could return there comfortably. I came to Ted Wiens on 12/12, when I got a flat tire leaving the Palazzo parking lot on my way home to Los Angeles. Edgar at the front desk was very kind and easy to work with. I asked him if they could try to get it done quickly because I needed to get back to Los Angeles, he said that it would take about 30 min. I stood outside the whole time watching my car to ensure that they took good care of it. My car sat outside for 20 minutes before anyone came to even look at it and check it in with their iPad. Around minute 25 someone drove it into the garage where it sat for another 20 minutes without anyone laying a hand on it. Finally I had enough. I went inside and said "Edgar, when is somebody going to work on my car? You've had it for 45 minutes and no one has even touched it." The man who sits behind Edgar's left shoulder said "They're working on it." I responded, "I've been watching my car the whole time and no one has touched it." Someone then went outside and asked one of the mechanics to start swapping out my tire. 15 minutes later it was all done and Edgar called me inside to finish up the paperwork. The same guy who sits behind the left shoulder of Edgar says very rudely to me "Wow that was pretty fast for not working on it huh." I responded "Yeah, once they actually started working on it, it was pretty quick." He came back with, "So I guess they really were working on it." I then said "No they didn't touch it for the first 45 minutes, but once they started it was pretty quick." He then just kept repeating "Pretty fast huh, huh huh." As if he was egging me on or trying to get a reaction out of me. I ignored him because there was no use talking to someone who clearly doesn't respect customers. I don't know who that guy is, but I'm blown away that Ted Wien's would hire someone who talks to customers like that. That guy sat at his desk the entire time scrolling away on his phone, and only looked up to argue with a customer who was just trying to get decent service so they could get home. Again, Edgar was very kind and professional, but whoever sits behind him is incredibly rude. I'm a business owner myself, and employees/customer service can make or break a business. Having an employee who argues with customers like this guy did can create a terrible reputation for your business. Ted Wien, I hope you see this. So i went in yesterday because I didn't wanted to go to the dealer which I was close to too and the price it is now about the same. I regret not doing so. They took 35 minutes to give me my car once I got the message saying it was ready. And all this because the guy In charge was too busy he said doing something else. But he never finish the last job he was working on. I had to come ask what else they were doing on my car because I got a message saying it was ready that's when I got my car. The guy dive the cars out of the shop like if he owns them. Terrible. Then I decided to open the hood to see what they did and I noticed they put water on my car instead of antifreeze I asked why and they said is because I have a leak to fix. Soooooo??? Its my car and it's up to me if I want to put water or antifreeze not their choice. then I noticed they broke the lid for the windshield liquid cleaner device and they said it was like that. So if it was like that how comes that I never have the lid out of place?? Like it was when they gave me my car?? I ended up regreating getting an expensive oil chance with a horrible service. Unfortunately, Las Vegas Blvd store actually closes at 5. I pulled in right at 5, the reason the get one star is the fact the girl acknowledged me. My car died on the way into town. This shop was close to my hotel so I figured I'd find out why it was overheating. The girl informed me she couldn't help since it was after close and referred me to the one on Fremont. Fremont quickly turned me away even though they were open for another 45 minutes, claiming they couldn't look at coolant levels in 45 minutes and I would have to leave it overnight. Unfortunately, all of our stuff is still in the car and I said to the gentleman " I don't know how we would get to our hotel and I'm Surprised for coolant levels you need so much time" your staff quickly showed me out. Ryan is the best! I was having an issue with my battery and after several battery tests that came back fine, he made sure I didn't leave there without figuring out what was wrong. He even walked me out into the shop to show me what the issue was. They are super knowledge here and very helpful. I watched him and the mechanics make sure they knew each person personally and had a face to match with the car they were working on. Being a girl, I am always a little nervous feeling like I might be taken advantage of in auto shops but they were willing to educate me on my car and even give me honest opinions on what I should do for high mileage maintenance.
