There is plenty of parking. I ordered take-out. Staff was friendly enough. Didn't see any Asian staff when I went in though, so it made me wonder about how authentic the food might taste. The dining area is small and cafe style. Nothing special, but clean and neat. The restaurant was about half full on a Sunday evening. I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Bento. My friend ordered the Chicken Katsu Bento. It was rather pricey, but there was a lot of food! And everything tasted great! The chicken had a delicous grilled rather authentic teriyaki flavor. So kudos to them for that! We should have asked for the Katsu sauce to be on the side. They just automatically poured it ove the chicken katsu. So if you want it on the side, you'd better ask ahead of time. The rice was kind of hard for some reason - kind of like brown rice. Maybe it was, but if so, we were not told. i won't go often due to the price, but you do get your money's worth. read more

Ordered for carry out on a nice Sunday spent relaxing. We placed the order at about 2 pm and it was ready for pick up by 2:45 pm. We appreciated how fast they were able to get the order completed and accurate. We ordered quite a few things. First being the calamari, which came with a sweet dipping sauce and a lemon that was sliced and curled for a fancy touch. It was nice to have the dine in features still included on our carry out ordered. My boyfriend ordered the lunch bento box with teriyaki chicken, and vegetable tempura. It also came with miso soup and a small salad. Everything was delicious and plated well. I ordered three sushi rolls. My favorite being the lemon salmon roll. I'm a huge fan of citrus, and the thinly sliced lemon on top of the salmon brought the perfect zesty brightness to the roll. I would order this one again and again. I also ordered the philly roll, which I get every time I order sushi and it was done correctly and with fresh ingredients. I forgot the name of the last roll I ordered, but it was a coconut flake roll topped with salmon avocado and had a crab salad inside. This was my first time trying coconut on sushi and I was very pleased! They even through in a free roll on them! Mood - after dinner snack Upon entering we were greeted with great customer service. It wasn't busy so we were ushered to sit wherever we chose and given menus. They have several specials along with AYCE. We opted for the Angus Rolls, Spicy Garlic Edamame, and hot tea. The meat in the roll was a little tough, but everything else was great in taste. I was so sushi deprived that I literally just closed my eyes and picked 3 rolls. Something with shrimp, another with salmon, and one last thing with tuna.. or something. You'll have to excuse me for the lack of description here (just tryna help you, the reader, make your own decisions in ordering sushi here). Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish, I'd dare say it's comparable to other popular sushi spots throughout Vegas. In terms of side dishes, they're filler, get more sushi, nigiri, and handrolls if your wallet can afford it. I think this is a great small AYCE sushi spot if you're in the area. I think of it as my locals spot for during or after work. I've had their AYCE with no complaints and I highly reccomend their teriyaki salmon or bento boxes. They were a little slow with service when they just opened and needed more help. It looks like they hired a few more staff and I haven't had any problems. There's definitely spots with a little more on the menu but if you want a smaller spot with great personable staff and fresh fish this is definitely a spot to check out. read more

First of all, great food in a clean and stylish restaurant. Second, they give "on us" extras! We ordered a bento box and one spicy tuna roll to-go. We get home and there's an extra "on us" box FULL of three separate sushi rolls -spicy tuna, salmon, and California! Tengoku popped up here on Yelp as a new restaurant close to me and had good reviews so I decide to give it a try (It replaced Sushi Bay which I never went to because they didn't have good reviews) No issue with parking since it is located in the Vons complex (corner Pecos and Windmill) Interior is a bit small but I came past 3pm so it wasn't crowded. I can see where it may get busy and there'll be a wait but Yelp offers an option to make reservations for this place so that helps. I like that they have several menus available - a kid's menu, bento box/ hot & cold dishes menu, and the AYCE menu which you can order a la carte from. I decided to try their AYCE. I ordered hot green tea for my drink and was pleased that the tea is of good quality. The AYCE/a la carte menu has ample choices. Food quality of everything I ordered was very good - Fish was fresh. Portions adequate. Service was excellent - reasonable wait time to receive food. Yennie is nice and friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Definitely coming back. I am so glad there's a new AYCE place near my house. I hope the restaurant will not deteriorate as time goes by. read more

Bento only review.. This place popped up in my new spots list while searching for something to eat around this area. I would say.. great choice on my part.. lol Once I saw the menu and saw that they have bentos and not just all you can eat.. I figured a quick lunch is good. Walking in.. it gives you that typical lunch spot in these shopping plazas in Las Vegas feel.. probably could fit about 20-30 people in there.. they do have bar seating too if you like to see the chef do his thing or watch the only tv that's mounted on wall.. They got some custom art work on the wall.. also serves as a display for some of their special offers.. like Oysters!! Yum! Music was a little loud but bearable.. they played hip hop tracks :) Staff were very friendly and greeted us right away since me and my coworker were the only ones there.. 1130am Don't forget to mention yelp when you check in because they'll give you ramune soda for free! Yum! Food: I got the Bento which gave me 2 choices from their menu.. so I got the chicken Katsu and beef teriyaki.. it does come with salad with some very "flavorable" dressing on it.. it was pretty acidic.. comes with 2 gyoza.. a really small piece of an orange.. a scoop of rice and miso soup which was a whole lot better than most Japanese sushi spots around the area! For the price it's not that bad at all, but know that when you order this bento.. you're getting 2 choices so the portions are on the smaller side as oppose to a full 1 choice plate. Overall it was really good! Wish there were more katsu sauce on the chicken and the beef teriyaki could've also had more teriyaki sauce too.. the beef teriyaki was a really small portion so maybe I'll try get something else next time.. it didn't come with gyoza sauce for the gyoza but the gyoza itself was really good as is. Half way eating through my lunch the chef had offered us a shrimp tempura roll on the house!!! Score!! Thank you!! The food overall was pretty good. The fried soft shell crab needs a lot of work it was very hard and had a thick crust on it. The restaurant is pretty small I think there was 7-8 tables total. Biggest downfall for me is they serve canned soda so you do have to pay for every can. They have fried Oreos for dessert they're very good and different from the usual desserts. Saw this new spot on yelp and decided to come in and give it a try ! We made it for lunch and we did the all you can eat. Looks like a little hole in the wall kind of place but it was good. Interior- it's a bit small on the inside but it's clean and I like how they wrote their specials on the walls with chalk. Also if you check in on yelp you can get a free ramune or small hot sake ! Food- food was pretty good. It's pretty similar to your typical all you can eat but they have a lot of appetizers to choose from. Chef gave us some specials, Kanpachi and Toro nigiri ! Service- service was amazing ! Yenny was our waitress (sorry if I spelled it wrong) but she was very nice and attentive ! Also thank you again chef for the special fish you gave us ! Ate here tonight & I won't lie it was a good place but over priced me. My kids are 6 years old & the manager & a worker both measured my kids which they are at the 45" mark. The manager left work early supposedly & the worker stated the manager said "no charge one of my children as an adult". First of all their menu says 3-6 years old OR 45". Why have OR. Came here for lunch and waited a few minutes for them to open at 12 noon. Very nice helpful waitress. We ordered AYCE with several of the cucumber wrapped rolls that were all delicious (rock & roll and Jonnies)! Also tuna and yellowtail nigiri. The garlic spicy edamame was excellent, as were the baked mussels. They were having a special on Sapporo beer - buy two get one free- so we all shared that. My husband and I came here for lunch on Sunday, since we both had been craving for some sushi.. & knowing me, I don't want to eat sushi unless it's AYCE. So he suggested we try Tengoku especially since hubby hates driving to Spring Mtn due to the traffic. First impression - it's a small sushi restaurant which I didn't expect. My husband and I both thought that it would be bigger. The seating arrangement is pretty close together with other parties and it does feel a bit cramped. Their menu is pretty extensive and they have a lot of different types of sushi, appetizers, rolls, and desserts. You can order half rolls on most rolls if you love to sample different types of rolls. My husband's favorite was the Rock n Roll roll & I loved their Sun of the Beach roll. The sushi definitely tasted sweet. I do wish that there was a smaller rice to fish ratio, but other than that..
