Came here during lunch on a Monday afternoon with my gf s family. Place is small but clean and the staff were very friendly. They have an option of doing at s (All You Can Eat) or al carte. We ended up doing Al carte because we were not too hungry. But I do say that the Ayce lunch price was very reasonable for only 25 while two rolls itself alrwady equals the same amount. The food quality for the sushi was big and pretty good tbh. Our favorite of which we recommend is the lemon salmon. The others were good as well but honestly don't remember what they were called. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 because the bento box teriyaki for both were burnt and took a lot longer to receive. Overall, I would come back for the price and quality. read more

Wow! Just literally wow! So My sister and I came down to Henderson to help her daughter (my niece) move out of her apartment. My niece then recommends us this all you can eat sushi, and we were all down for it. We sat down and looked at the menu, our server was Dean. He was super nice, attentive and listened to my request as I am highly allergic to shellfish. I ordered meat rolls and it was soooooo good! My sister loved her roll (I couldn't remember what it was called) and My niece is pregnant so of course she can only order certain things. They opened during the pandemic and they have been there for 2 years now, and I can see why it has been so successful! Then we met Justin, I believe he was the manager who was super nice to my sister and let us take her sushi roll to go (even though we were not allowed too) but he let us and was so nice about it! I'm a huge sushi fanatic. This place left me a little bit scratching my head. The first time I came everything was amazing! Super fresh, I especially loved their poke. All the nigiri everything tasted amazing! I thought I had found my spot. The second time I came everything just kind of tasted subpar at best, some of the fish was way too fishy, slimy or the texture just felt off. I may give this place one last shot. read more

This place is great, I understand that they have new owners and they have done a great job on revamping this Sushi Bar. They offer ala cart as well as all you can eat dinner for 28.99. This is the way to go!!! we ordered edamame and it was served hot with sea salt on top. Cucumber salad was crisp and cold pretty good. Rainbow Roll was delicious it was fresh, cold and delicious. Son of the Beach Roll was very good the tempura inside was hot and the rest was cold, just like it should be. My husband got nigiri platter and it was all fresh and delicious. Everything was served cold and freshly sliced. The highlight was he ordered Himachi Kama it was the best he has ever had. Finished the night off with Deep Fried Oreo on top of vanilla ice cream and Mango Mochi they were both delicious. Our server Dean did a great job and made sure that our beer was replenished and that we weren't leaving hungry. This is the best sushi I've had in Vegas, bar none. I went with the red mountain roll because I love me some spicy tuna! It was absolutely delicious. The spicy tuna was good quality and actually spicy (unlike many restaurants) and the spicy crab mix on top was very generous in terms of portion and had the perfect flavor and texture. They packaged it with a lot of wasabi (thank goodness) and a really good sauce that added a nice kick. I'd been missing sushi for quite some time and am so excited to find a place that delivers on quality and flavor! read more

I came for Valentine's Day dinner when getting off work late disrupted our original dinner plans. Tengoku is relatively close to my house so I decided to give their AYCE sushi a try. The restaurant is not all that big, so there might be a wait during peak hours. Service was good overall; they did forget a few orders/make a few mistakes, but no major errors. As for the food, it was average. There was a large menu with a decent amount of variety, but the quality of the sushi did not wow me compared to some other establishments around town. That said, the food was not of inferior quality either. There are a ton of AYCE sushi places in town, and Tengoku is a solid restaurant for this genre of food. read more

Owner claims to have stated a disclaimer for charging for left overs. Doesn't show anywhere on the website. AND assumed that we ordered TOO much when in fact we did order little by little. Majority was nigiri, some apps, and only ordered ONE roll. Seemed to miss the point of our concern. ***make sure you eat EVERYTHING, they will not hesitate to charge you for left overs.*** I was super excited to try this place mainly because of a foodie blogger I follow. The place itself is rather small compared to other AYCE Sushi places. Their fish was pretty good, rice portion was on the larger side. Food was okay, not really worth the drive out. We really wanted to love the place. Rated 3 stars mainly because it's a little upsetting that the server didn't tell us they would charge us for half of the sushi roll we had left. We had eaten everything else. I have absolutely no problem paying for whatever is left. The issue was the fact that the server didn't even tell us and just presented us the check. Every AYCE place we went to, IF we had left overs, the server would warn us that they would need to charge us for left overs before they did. This allowed us for a chance to attempt to finish what was left. At the same time, I have been to several AYCE places and have never been charged for 4 pieces of an 8 piece roll. Half the food was ok and the other half we didn't like. Miso soup looked like it came from a pre-made packet that you dump into hot water. Fried rice.... Ya I have no idea what that was but it wasn't fried rice. Asked the server about salmon belly nigiri and he said he would check and get back with me.... He didn't. Nigiri was pretty good.... We ordered Yuzu yellowtail which was all around well balanced. Rice to fish ratio was better than some Ayce places and just the right amount of yuzu to not overpower the fish. Same with the yuzu salmon and garlic tuna. Cajun albacore is a different story. Big piece of fish with a pinch of rice and the fish had a weird texture like they just seasoned it with Cajun spice and grilled it real quick. I hope people know that sushi is about the rice and not the topping. I do t understand AYCE restaurants putting huge pieces of fish on top of a pinch of rice. I did like the Tengoku roll, very flavorful. There were other dishes but they weren't good or bad. Just kind of ok. Overall..... I don't understand the high praises for this place. A great spot for AYCE in Green Valley, under $30 for dinner. The menu has lots of varieties of rolls, nigiri, appetizers, desserts and drinks. From 3pm-6pm, they offer buy one, get one on Sake and wine. It is a pretty small space with basic decor, and it gets a bit loud, so don't expect ambience. :) Also, if you don't "clean your plate" they will charge extra for leaving leftovers, so be sure to come hungry. And they have a yummy pineapple martini!! read more

I order two rolls tonight via grubhub and i got a different order for some strange reason. I couldn't finish it. Most of it went to trash. I cannot tell you what rolls i got since they were not the ones i ordered. But two of them had shrimp tempura. They were soggy. Not fried long enough the shrimp was raw. The breading was soggy and disgusting. And there was a unpleasant taste on the topping, sour and not in a good way. The other one with tempura was soggy as well. What a disappointment. read more

I am very skeptical when it comes to trying new sushi places... but this place doesn't disappoint!! Staff is very friendly and our server was amazing!!! Wish I would have gotten his name.. but he is the buff white guy with the nice booty!! We had a few rolls but the popcorn lobster roll is amazing... VERY FILLING!! Let me preface this review by saying that if it weren't for Marisol, our experience would have been very different. When my fiancé and I arrived, the guy at the front initially told us that they were pretty booked. My fiancé noticed they had a list at the front for people to sign in and asked if we could add ourselves to the list to wait. The guy told us it would be a 45 minute to 1 hour wait to be seated, which was expected for a Friday night. We said that's fine, left our phone number and went to sit in the car. They called us maybe half an hour later, and we went in to be seated. The tables were very close to each other, which was a little awkward. One of the servers came to take our drink order, and we asked for water. After that, a completely different server came to our table and attempted to take our food order, but his iPad was malfunctioning so he had to go get it fixed before he came back and took our food order. We ordered salmon, tuna, albacore, eel, shrimp tempura, baked mussels, Japanese lasagna, baked lobster, soft shell crab, and sweet shrimp. After he took our order, Marisol came to our table and apologized for the wait, and said she could take our order. We were a little confused because a completely different person who we thought was our server just took our order. We mentioned that the other guy took our order, and she said okay and let us know that if we need anything, she's actually the server for our table. Our food began coming out, and I was pleased to see that the fish to rice ratio on the nigiri was pretty decent compared to most places we've been to in the past (top sushi excluded). The baked lobster was one of the best I've ever had & Japanese lasagna was THE best I've ever had. After receiving the Japanese lasagna, nothing else came. We received everything except for the eel, baked mussels, and sweet shrimp. Marisol stopped by our table to see if we were doing okay and wanted to order more. We let her know about the items we hadn't received and asked if we could reorder them, and wanted to make sure there wasn't a double order coming if we put it in. She apologized and went to put in our order. Soon they came out except the sweet shrimp. We saw/heard her go to the sushi chefs to check on our sweet shrimp, came to the table and said it was on the way. I really liked that she kept us updated so we didn't think they forgot. This is a cute little sushi spot. My husband loved the rolls and that there were some items without crab. I appreciated the flavors but the amount of rice used in my nigiri was excessive. There were so many options to chose from, so you definitely get a bang for your buck here! I liked that you can chose to get half rolls (which J HIGHLY recommend) so you can try a variety without getting too full. I was a big fan of the fish and chips as well as the baked mussels. My only complaint would be the salmon or certain rolls weren't the freshest. I love salmon, but the salmon here tasted off for some reason. Some rolls tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. I didn't get to try a lot because I got really full super fast. Placing the order over the phone was super easy, you can hear how busy it is in the background, which is a good thing . They are fast and reliable! Ordered for Tengoku takeout for lunch on a Friday. The menu looked promising and we wanted to try a new sushi spot so we ordered here. They quoted us 30 minutes for our order to be ready which was perfectly fine. Once we got there, we paid and got in and out in a timely manner. What was disappointing was the quality of the bento boxes. My friend ordered a chicken teriyaki and beef bulgogi bento box and it was pretty sad looking. The chicken and the beef were dry and overcooked. The portions were so small it was hardly enough to fill one person. I would not recommend getting the bento boxes if you do end up coming here. I ordered some nigiri sushi which was probably the highlight of our order. The yellowtail and tuna nigiri tasted very fresh, no fishy taste what so ever. They gave you three pieces in one order which was fantastic. However, the rolls that I ordered were cut so clunky, overfilled with imitation crab and/or cream cheese. The beauty of the roll was overpowered by the amount of imitation crab and/or cream cheese. I threw away probably like half of the roll. Furthermore, it was disappointing paying for fresh wasabi on the bill and not getting it in our takeout. The girl seemed pretty confused when I asked about it. The Menu is digital & organized very nicely, it's separated by what kind of fish is in the rolls which I haven't seen before but I really liked. I wish more places organized their menus this way. Service was good - food came out fast, had a few mix ups with our orders but other than that everything was fine. Some of the rolls were HUGE.
