This place gets 5 stars for two reasons: 1) good food, in huge portions for reasonable prices. At first their menu seems pricey (most meals are 9.99) but you get a ton of food. I had the teriyaki and katsu, both were solid. 2) I noticed lots of people mentioned bad service, but I actually was impressed. Very friendly, and the food came out fast. I actually left my ID when I paid and didn't realize it till the next day. I had no idea where I left it, but when I called in the morning they confirmed it was there. Don't be fooled by the seemingly "high" prices. It's honestly because they give you so much food! My boyfriend and I decided to get the combo plates for a little over $11 and we were surprised at how much food we got! The chicken breast katsu was cooked to perfection and super crispy. I wasn't too fond of their homemade sauce but I think that's because i'm so partial to Bulldog sauce. Their gyoza was fresh and their teriyaki was not too sweet. If you dine in you get free soup! I had the chicken and egg drop soup and there was also miso soup. We definitely will be back here to try more of their extensive menu. Would give this place zero stars if I could... Extremely over priced for food that taste horrible. Can't even honestly call it teriyaki. The entire restaurant smelled like the inside of a community pool and the salad dressing tasted like chlorine. The bathroom was disgusting and didn't even have any soap in the broken dispenser. Huge portions, a variety of good food, and great value. I'm a big eater and I didn't even come close to finishing my chicken yaki soba. Nice and clean atmosphere and friendly service. You also get unlimited free soup and tea, and as an extra nice touch they keep the cups and bowls in a little warmer. I don't know what else anyone could hope for at around $10 a plate. read more

This place has the worst pho I ever had in my entire life. I didnt think a bad pho could be possible until I tried their sad excuse of pho. They have beef, chicken, pork, veggie and tofu pho...? The meat are very dry and dont taste like anything. I cant tell if I'm eating chicken or pork. And the soup was not impressive either. This place was clean with a friendly cashier. There's a self serve water area with free soup. I ordered a pho and the serving size was ginormous! My boyfriend got the spicy teriyaki chicken. Both were ok. Can't complain! Everything came out very fast. read more

This is one of my favorite place to go for yakisoba, usually the food is full of flavor and plenty for left overs, however last time I got my spicy chicken yakisoba the meal was not spicy at all and I always tell them makes it really spicy and the noodles were not the same noodles they usually use they didn't give a good flavor. However the price is about 9 which is a good price. The staff wise I always get a young girl that always is happy even if sometime she doesn't get how I want my order. Hopefully next time is better but for now I give them a 4 star read more

The name is "Teriyaki & Pho", but none of the both was done right in my visit. I'm not very sure what's with Seattle and Teriyaki, but in my first visit to Seattle I found Seattle is ridiculously filled with diners/restaurants that use the term "Teriyaki" in their names. As an Asian guy who visited Japan for 10 times in the last few years, I gotta say none of those teriyaki photos I see in the yelp pages of these places looks like teriyaki to me. OK back to this place, the teriyaki chicken was way too sweet. Yeah teriyaki sauce is supposed to have some sweetness to the flavor but with depth. This was just sweet and there wasn't much depth in there. The sauce tasted like a simple mixture of soy sauce and some kind of syrup, which I won't use the term "teriyaki" to describe. The pho was poorly done too. Any authentic pho restaurant could have up to 4~5 different kinds of meats in a bowl of beef pho, but there was just one kind in my beef pho here, and the meat was overly cooked so it was so chewy that it made my jaw sore before I could finish the bowl. The portion was big though, I mean really big, for both dishes. That's probably the only positive thing I can think of about the food I had. read more

To start, person at counter couldn't speak English, couldn't answer my questions and didn't seem to know the menu. I ordered the Phad Thai which was a very strange pale color and was salty. It also had a big piece of metal in it. I asked for the sesame chicken to replace it and it was much better and huge quantity which saved this review. Food is slightly above average, with large portion sizes. While the food was great, the fact that I had to wait for ALMOST AN HOUR for my food. This was made even worse with the fact that my friend, who ordered the SAME MEAL right before me, got his meal after a few minutes. Reviews seem to be all over the map here. I thought service was excellent, the portions were huge and I really liked my food. So did my boy and my sister in law because we got three! meals out of the katsu Teriyaki chicken combo. My wife got honey chicken and that was really tasty. Note that meals come with a cole slaw which I appreciated as well as with the soup which is available in a crock pot. I liked the seating as well. It is a comfortable place. My only comment is the place needs some freshening up. The carpets are in horrible shape and the whole place needs a thorough cleaning. I felt on the whole that this establishment has better food than similar ones I have eaten at in the area. read more

The food portions are overly huge! But it doesn't really matter if it taste bland. I ordered the beef and pork... They gave me stir fry pho beef.... Um.... Disappointing. Stopped here and ordered for my family who all wanted something different. Their menu is wildly varied. Tempura prawns were way overdone on the verge of burned. Pad Thai was tasteless and dry. Pho, my young son Who loves pho only picked at. They threw on an order of chicken katsu which was nice, I guess but no one in my family likes chicken katsu so I doubt it will be eaten. We have come in twice already. The chicken teriyaki is awesome. The price is pricey but for the portion size it is well worth it. This will become our usual spot. This place has become my favorite place for bubble tea as well. read more

I came for the pho. I was working nearby, at 2pm I hadn't yet had lunch and was ravenous. I saw the sign for pho and it was just what I was in the mood for. First impression on walking in: this place is very clean. A wall of food photos were at the back with a counter where you order. No table service, you bus your own. I scan through all the photos looking for pho and can't find it. I tell the woman I'm looking for pho tai. She points to a small menu on the counter and says "#68". I don't have my reading glasses so I just say, yes, please. She asks what kind of meat. I get confused. Tai means beef. So I tell her beef. She rings me up. Repeats the order again as "Beef Pho Tai" and I then tell her that the word beef is not necessary. Pho tai is beef soup, pho ga is chicken. She looks at me with a could not care less look. I find a place to sit, read the news on my phone and a few minutes later she serves a very large plate. Not pho. It has beef, rice noodles, peanuts on top.... phad thai. I was hungry. What the heck. I order this elsewhere on occasion. It's a little too sugary and not at all spicy. Many restaurants serve it that way. Large plate, generous portion, priced and sized more like a dinner item meant to be shared rather than a lunch item. So, despite the name "Teriyaki & Pho", they do not do pho. It gives me pause when I see a sign for a restaurant advertising two separate and distinct types of ethnic foods. It just does not bode well for either. Against my better judgment, I walked in. I asked the very nice cashier if the pho was authentic. She attempted to but could not answer that. I concluded it was not real pho. So I ordered items off the menu which should be fairly straightforward. The chicken phad thai, mongolian beef and some other unremarkable dish I cannot recall, but to say the portions of poorly executed entrees were huge. The phad thai was alarmingly heavy in its container. The noodles mushy and flavorless, the chicken left overs from teriyaki chicken repurposed for the chicken phai thai. The mongolian beef was chewy and dry and the flavor non-existent. I tried to rehabilitate them by heating them on the stove and adding seasoning, but to no avail. I am loathed to give a bad review to a small establishment with a nice person taking orders behind the counter, but when the food is really that bad, I have to say: RUN AWAY. read more

I come here when I feel really hungry and I don't want to pay more than 30$. the restaurant looks decent, and the foods are incredibly big! The taste is good, I mostly have yakisoba and Ch+Beef terryaki combo. But the padthai they make is kinda different with other restaurants, I wont say its bad but its little weird. First and last time here. The gyoza tastes like store bought frozen gyoza, except I've even purchased better from the grocers. When I received my pho it was huge and filled with disappointment. The beef pho was watered down with barely any flavor, the hoisin sauce and sriracha was also watered down. My fiancé was also dissatisfied with his short ribs, which were tastier than my pho but contained low quality meat. We were looking to try this place after seeing the high rating on Yelp. We came in at a little past 7 in the evening on a Sunday and stood before their counter because we were looking to do take-out and wanted to browse their menu up top first. We were standing there for about 10 minutes eyeing the menu when one of their staff comes up to us and tells us that they weren't serving customers anymore. We said, "ok, that's fine" and then we left. It was a mystery because their closing time was 9 p.m. and it was still pretty early, plus there were still several people dining. We didn't get any apology either. Anyhow, we will definitely not go back to try this place anymore because what they did was just off-putting. When you're in an industry where you have a lot of competition and no matter how good your product may be, it will always be customer service that will set you apart. We hightailed it out of there and drove up a few miles to Lynnwood for a generous portion of Hawaiian barbecue at L&L instead. read more

My family came here for the first time and it turned out to be good. I ordered the spicy teriyaki chicken, although it wasn't spicy at all, but great flavor. They give you a great big portion of food in your plate and the price is reasonable. I like that there is free soup. They have to kinds of soup miso soup and chicken and egg soup. The chicken and egg soup was great, but did need to be warmed up because it was a bit cold. The staff members were nice and had great costumer service. Overall experience was great. read more

First time there today. Excellent Chicken Teryaki, with Rice and white cabbage salad. Everything prepared just right. Slightly higher prices than I'm used to paying, but I soon discovered that the portions were also much larger than I'm used to. A very value for the money. Asked the manager to package up my leftovers, and when I got home, I discovered that he'd added replaced the leftover rice with two scoops of fresh rice. Customer service as good as the food was delicious, and a customer can't ask for more than that. read more

I was amazed at how clean and crisp this place looked. I was starving and have been looking for a decent place to have a soup in the area and this was over the top. Even the Siracha bottle was new and clean. At the counter there was this lovely young lady smiling jovially and laughing with us. We ordered a ramen soup and mongolian beef and they both came out very fast, we didn't even have time to finish our hot miso soup. The soup was huge and was served on this beautiful artsy ceramic bowl. It was packed with crisp veggies cooked just right and in vivid colors, you hardly find that anywhere in a soup.
