Mad Spicy Chicken Teriyaki and steak Bowl
    Benny C.

Super slid spot if you want a simple, no frills, clean meal! There were a variety of options and this place reminded me of a Hawaiian bbq spot. The meat and protein options are lean and low fat with items such as chicken thighs, breast, steak, and other vegetarian options. Believe me when I say that this place has HUGE portions. I got the spicy chicken teriyaki and steak and not going to lie, it was actually pretty spicy! I also got a side of steamed veggies on top of brown rice. The steak was made well, not too tough or chewy. The chicken was relatively moist and not dry. The brown rice was a great choice for a more nutrient carb option. The veggies were fresh and clean. All in all, I would definitely come back for a healthier option for take out!

My coworker brought me back the orange chicken bowl and gave me a few slices of his teriyaki chicken to try. I must say I'd get the chicken teriyaki instead of the orange chicken. The orange chicken taste artificial and not so great. Rice was too mushy and clumpy. The veggies were actually really good. Cabbage, brocolli, carrots, and onions and had good flavor. The chicken teriyaki was tender and came with terriyaki sauce but I didn't add it in. Overall an okay meal but nothing that made me want to get it again.

I stopped by Teriyaki Madness and was really impressed with the portion sizes -- you definitely get your money's worth. The bowls are generous and filling, which is great if you're hungry or looking to stretch a meal into leftovers. That said, the chicken and steak were both overcooked and came out pretty dry. Unfortunately, they also lacked the bold, savory flavor I was hoping for in a teriyaki spot. The sauce didn't quite make up for it either. I'd be willing to give it another try, maybe with a different protein or sauce, but the first impression left a bit to be desired.

Under Roger would "aiyah" this fried rice so badly.

Was shopping around at Costco and saw this place along the way and decided to give it a try. Was expecting some near fast food style teriyaki rice and chicken to serve a small craving as I have not had anything like this in a while and unfortunately even with lowered expectations this place did not even come close to satisfying in any way, shape or form. The menu itself looked promising enough with multiple protein options and several additional types of chicken aside from the standard grilled teriyaki chicken such as battered spicy orange chicken and katsu chicken along with salmon and steak options. You can pick your base as white, brown or fried rice along with noodle yakisoba options. All bowls have option to add veggies so it is nice to have multiple options to configure up a bowl of your choice and preferences. The problem is when all of those options are below average. I chose the large 2 protein option with spicy orange chicken and katsu chicken with fried rice where as my partner went with the medium steak and brown rice option with one med drink. Was a bit surprised at the bill of 40 bucks so assumed the food would be of slightly higher quality. It was good to see that all bowls are prepared to order so it should be at the very least fresh one would assume. When the food was served I was initially impressed with the portion sizes as there appeared to be healthy amount of the protein as the steak bowl was filled to the edges for the med bowl and it appeared to be a decent amount for the large 2 protein bowl. Once I started digging into the large bowl it all went downhill in every facet. The portion of spicy orange chicken was pretty sparse with too many all batter pieces and only a small amount of actual chicken pieces. The chicken itself was so okay and about on par with your average american style orange chicken from Panda or any american chinese joint. The Katsu was an okay amount and at least crispy but a pretty thin cut of chicken but tasted decent. Once you dig past the thin layer of protein you end up with what might actually be the worst veggie fried rice you can find in the east bay; I am trying not to sound dramatic here but it was truly terrible. Overall soggy, no flavor, huge chunks of white rice that was not broken up properly and just way too much of it. The stir fried veggies were also flavorless and unappetizing but at lease appeared to be fresh and mostly crisp. My partner fared slightly better as the steak was decently flavored but probably overcooked and not as tender. There was a decent amount of it so I guess you should go with the 1 protein med bowl for better ratio. The brown rice was passable but also flavorless along with the veggies again. About the only thing that was actually good was the teriyaki sauce which you will need TONS of to add any sort of flavor to get the rice and veggies down. Even at HALF the price I paid I would not consider coming back again. The one thing I will say is that I forgot to try the regular base teriyaki chicken which might be decent but I will not be coming back to try again. For comparison sake Suki Hana at the Premium Outlets is much better and Sarku at Valley Fair in SJ is tops for this type of cuisine if that is what you are looking for.

We ordered delivery and got the 2 protein rice bowl. We chose chicken and steak. The chicken was burnt and inedible so we won't be ordering from them again. Quality control is clearly lacking.

Spicy chicken teriyaki with brown rice 3.5/5 The sauce has a bite to it. It was decent some pieces were tougher to eat. Maybe a bit overcooked. Spicy tofu 3/5 It was just ok. Regular chicken teriyaki 3/5 without sauce , 3.5/5 with sauce Standard chicken teriyaki chicken. For the price it's rather expensive.

    Salmon terayaki

I honestly am not coming back . I'm not sure if this is how they make all their food but my plate tasted like something out of the freezer. The salmon was mushy , the rice quality poor seemed like everything was put in the microwave and only the vegetables were fresh. Panda express would have seemed a better choice next time.

I had high hopes but was disappointing. The restaurant itself is new so it was clean and there is plenty of seating inside. The cashier was pretty friendly, they will bring the food to you when it's ready. Unfortunately that is where the good ended. First, shout out to the lady who was kind to give me her 20% off coupon. So the beef was super dry and the chicken was a mixture of dry and over cooked. It didn't feel like there was any love making it. It was very bad. The salmon was fine, it was good fine and it was edible. The egg roll was also fine. The stars of my order should have been the beef and chicken but it was just lacking. I'm hoping it was a one off and not every order is that bad. Maybe another visit the food will be better.

It's really good! I got the spicy teriyaki bowl, be advised it is actually supper Spicy, but supper good. Definitely recommend, friendly staff.

Spicy chicken bowl with noodles and broccoli. Side of edamame. Pink lemonade. (Cookie was from hotel).

Stayed overnight in the hotel across the parking lot. Ordered online and food was ready in about 10 minutes. Staff was friendly, drink machine gave out cold ice and good pink lemonade, and the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. So so so glad I tried them ... you should, too!

*** Vegetarian Review ***…read more Full disclaimer. I haven't been to the restaurant, but I've tried their vegan potstickers at the Kaiser Vallejo Farmers Market. So, since I wasn't able to find a check in for that market, I had to come here to sing their praises. 6 Vegan Potstickers at the market are $13. I recommend spending the $1 for chili oil. Not sure what they charge at the restaurant for these fried pockets of deliciousness, but I tell you if these taste this good at a farmers market, packaged in a box, and I wait 10 minutes before I find a seat in the hospital cafeteria, and it still tastes this good, the restaurant must be out of this world. The wrapper has a great thickness and offers a sticky and chewy bite. Pan fried still comes out after having these steam in a to go box, so the restaurant would probably make these pan fried babies have even more texture. Comes with a dipping sauce, but combine it with the chili oil if you can handle a little heat and Yes Chef!! I heard they are at the SF Ferry Building Market on Saturday and Walnut Creek Farmers Market on Sunday. Double check those, but finding a great vegan potsticker is not easy.

I've been a regular customer to their Tuesday and Saturday stands here, mostly getting baos and cucumbers. I was surprised that there was no sauce on this as there was enough flavor from the beef to pair well with the noodles. Simple, tasty, and perfect for my lunch. It is a bit pricy for the portion but the quality is there. Plus it's made to order. I'll continue to get the small bites for my friend and will try the other meals down the road.

It was early dinner time on a Friday evening and it wasn't overly crowded. All 6 of us got different items and overall it's a matter of preference for what kind of broth and protein you'd like that depicts the meal, the toppings are generally all the same. Consider this place to almost be a "make your own ramen" type of thing, in that you're given a platter of toppings to add to your bowl of steaming hot broth, mix it and let it sit, then voila! It's ready to eat. For a rainy winter evening, it was perfect to have some tasty noodle soup!

Not too much to displease though! I mixed some water and it was perfect for me. -tomato beef brisket noodle soup: i was surprised by how tender the meat was and how much they actually give you. If you love tomato soups as much as i do then it's definitely a great option! -takoyaki & lamb skewers: my sister had one dish from her combo order and i has my own but was able to try both! The lamb skewers were a bit smaller than expected but were flavorful with a fragrant aroma. The takoyaki came in about 5 balls and while they didn't include all typical takoyaki toppings it was still pretty good considering it came as a combo! Overall, i really loved coming by this place, my main concern is that it's actually in a pretty busy plaza so parking can be a little difficult during peak business hours. Otherwise it's located in a really great area relatively close to some shopping areas such as the Livermore outlets or even other smaller shopping plazas. Give this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good eat without breaking the wallet!
