Craving for some good food around Glendale after working out at 24hr fitness and found this place..came in.. read the menu..ordered..then left.. I ate my food at home. My verdict, pretty damn good! I had the combo meal with pork, chicken and shrimp, and ordered a side of noodles. It also comes with some fried dishes, (tempura? iduuno..lol) and some veggies! The first time I ate here, a cop was sitting inside eating his dinner while his car sat outside with the engine running. Maybe he stopped by to grab a quick snack and then couldn't leave until he was full. Anyway, my sweetheart and I each had the tofu yakisoba and split a vegetable tempura. it was so good and so filling. We probably could have split the yakisoba as well, which we did on our next visit. I just had their chicken and beef combo. It left me speechless. I had never had Healthy food taste SO good. My husband had the chicken bowl and LOVED IT!!. My daughter is a very picky eater and she finished her grilled Salmon and white rice with this hot sauce, which we all LOVED. I will definitely be coming here way more often. I've been to this place a few times and I always liked it. But today it was a different story. So today I went back after a few weeks not going there. I ordered the Chinese Chicken Salad without chicken as I always do. It took 28 minutes to get that order! Granted they appeared busy but it's a salad. Put it into the to-go box and that's it. We're looking at a 28 second job. Worst part was that customers, who ordered after me, got their food before me and they ordered meat too. Just when I was about to ask they had it ready. No apology nothing. But OK I let it go. What really got me going was once I was back in my office trying to enjoy the salad. They include small container with their salad dressing. It's pretty good dressing. However, now they only fill those containers half way and they're tiny to start off with. It's just not enough for that salad. Extra containers come with an extra charge. I have also tried the chicken and the spicy tuna and this place has never failed to blow my mind. Almost all the entrees come with white or brown rice, salad (with amazing dressing), and tempura. Even the simplest things here like the salad taste so good because the dressings are made with their own secret recipe. Prices are also so great because you get so much good food. Needed to shop at the Galleria - absolutely nothing to eat inside the mall. A friend recommended a little teriyaki shop nearby on Wilson Ave. Upon walking in we noticed the simple picture menu on the wall. We ordered by the combo numbers and sat down with our drinks. Through the open kitchen we can see the flames and the guys cooking away. After several mintues, our food arrived in black boxes. We ordered rib special, gyoza combo and a chicken combo. I have had teriyaki before and this was good, very good. Everything was fresh and the light teriyaki sauce on the meat was not too sweet and not too thick. Chicken was tender, tempura was crispy and the tempura sauce that came with it was very tasty. But my favorite were the ribs. Juicy and flavorful. Will have to come back for the ribs. I've eaten here many times thanks to my coworker who basically lives here. I always get the number 9(shrimp and chicken) with loads of their sauces and ginger. They are very friendly and are very busy at lunch. I suggest phoning in your order since they make everything to order. The chicken, salmon, & tempura are all top notch. The gyozas are great and perfect to order if a bowl isn't enough. The Omega special is my favorite; it's a salad with tofu, chicken, & salmon. Their salad dressing is phenomenal!
