Wife and I went there on 10-16-2016 @ 4:30 pm. Was seated promptly and our server Krista was very attentive and prompt in greeting us and taking our drink and food order. Our items ordered were to our request and brought to us in a timely manner. Even the manager came over to ask us about our visit which was very pleasant and professional. All in all a very favorable experience!! Highly recommended. Stopped in on 7/20/2017 @ 4:45 pm. Jack (first time serving alone) was our waiter. Exceptional service, food was fabulous and wife was surprised how reasonable price wise for our meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good steak and salmon dinner. A+ or 11 out of 10. Eat the fresh hot bread rolls with delicious sweet cinnamon butter. Order a huge Margarita with a $2 kicker of extra liquor. Eat the peanuts from the metal bucket on your table but throw the shells on the floor. Order up some amazing appetizers - I can recommend the loaded Tater Skins and the Cactus Blossom. Both very good sizes and they come with dipping sauces and sour cream. Place your order for a hearty steak and two sides. I had the 12oz. Fort Worth Ribeye, husband had the New York Strip. His Strip was better than my Ribeye so next time I will get that! The baked potato is great, get it loaded for 99c. Sour cream, butter, bacon bits and cheddar cheese. Get a salad - I got the Caesar and it was fresh and crisp. I actually prefer it to Outback. It has a different atmosphere and slightly cheaper steak prices. First, we did call ahead seating, worked well, we got to our table in a very timely manner, please note the place was jam packed. My boyfriend & I came here on a whim yesterday and we were blown away with how great this place was. It was the coldest night since this 2015 "winter" season started and this place was packed on a Thursday night.. that has to mean something good. We were seated immediately and the host was extremely friendly, asked us if we had been there before & offered us some meal suggestions. She brought us some dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. If there was something like an orgasm in the form of food, this was it. It was AMAZING. The buns are buttered up and the cinnamon butter is light and sweet. The cinnamon makes it so extremely delightful, I have never tasted better butter in my life. I ordered the Dallas filet w/ sauteed mushrooms & onions along with two sides of mash potatoes & buttered corn. I don't go to steak houses that often, but I have to admit that this was the best steak I have ever had in my life (maybe I'm inexperienced, but this was some good stuff). Cooked to order, tender, juicy & melted in my mouth. The onions and mushrooms were plentiful and added a great touch to the dish. I would 100% recommend this dish. I wasn't too impressed with the sides though. The mashed potatoes were just regular mashed potatoes, not seasoned with anything special and the corn was clearly from a can, though it was good, just nothing out of the ordinary. Regardless, the buns & my steak was enough to win my heart over. Not to mention, the service was phenomenal. Our waitress was super friendly and the manager even made an appearance, asking us if we were pleased with our food & our waitress. This is, hands down, my new favorite steak house. One word describes this place. Woohoo! I came here on a Thursday night with my girlfriend. We decided to check this place out cause it was near the AMC Coon Rapids, which has bomb reclining seats! We came here around 8pm on a Thursday night and this place was still poppin'! Not super busy, but busy enough. We took forever to decide on what to get! There was too much I wanted to try. After placing our orders, it came with some delicious complimentary bread with some amazing sweet butter. It was really really good, especially when its hot. I ordered the Rib eye steak with half rack of baby back ribs and my girlfriend got the filet mignot. It also comes with 2 sides; which I got mashed potatoes and fries. The sides were ok, nothing special, but not terrible. I ordered my steak rare, but came practically well done. I was a little disappointed. After eating 1/4 of it, I decided to tell the waitress about it and they were SUPER nice about it. They apologized instantly, and offered to replace my steak! The manager came by and apologized and brought me a new rib eye steak! I ordered like a 10 ounce one and she came back with one that's like double the size, with a thicker cut. It was bomb. It was cooked rare, just how I like it. The service was exceptional! The steak was so juicy with blood, each bite released a gush of blood. yum yum yum. So tender and so good. I ribs I got, were also very good. I love baby back ribs. Overall, this place is bomb. Great food with very competitive prices. The service is hands down, top notch. I would come here again. This is our regular Texas Roadhouse we like to visit. Call ahead seating works well and is highly recommended on a busy Saturday. The free peanuts are fun, and the fresh rolls with the cinnamon-honey butter are great starters. Our regular steaks are the sirloins and they are usually good at coming out the way we ordered - whether medium or medium rare they are most tender. A great value, very good food, and a fun experience. This has to be one of the best restaurants in efficiently getting the large number of people to their tables. read more

As a previous Arizona resident I was thrilled to see that the Roadhouse finally made it's way to MN a couple years ago. I have never had a bad meal or service here. I call ahead every time and recommend it. We did last Saturday night, good thing as our 7 pm call was greeted with a 70 - 80 minute wait. Hey, there's a reason there is that long of a wait, right?! We got to the restaurant 75 minutes after we called and it was only another 10 - 15 minutes before we were seated. LOVE the endless hot buns with cinnamon/honey butter. I opt for the side salad with french and mashed potatoes with white gravy with my entree. The beans are tasty too. My recent meal was the pulled bbq pork and bbq chicken. Yummy! Crispy cornmeal coating and delish remoulade. I love that the salad has eggs/cheese on it. The buns are to die for. We've had the fried pickles and the cactus blossom (fried onion blossom) and they were both really greasy and the pickles were SO SALTY. Almost inedible. This place is always so packed, even on a Tuesday night! You can literally see all of the servers scrambling to get things done! Our server actually greeted us with how she was going to try to get our orders fast. So we ordered fast. To start off, you always get a basket of their warm bread-which is really good with their cinnamon butter, and a bucket of peanuts to start off with. The nice thing about these, is that they're unlimited. So have at it. I really like how the manager is constantly going around to see if everything is OK or if she can get you anything. She's also got a very attentive eye, asking if you need me bread or a refill. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, with portabella mushrooms, and a loaded sweet potato and buttered corn on the side. Let me just start off by saying, that rib eye was HUGE. I was only able to finish a third of it. It was packed with mushrooms on top and cooked to perfection. The corn wasn't that much of a big deal, it came from a can, didn't really care for it. The sweet potato though, hit my sweet tooth. This is my favorite thing to get here, it tastes a little bit like heaven. Granted, you can make it yourself at home easily but when someone saves you that work, it's even better. At the end of our meal, our server asked us to walk up front to pay. Now, I was a little confused on this part. I can't tell if it's always been like this or if it was just this one time. He was polite, friendly and outgoing. He knew he what he was doing. He was on the ball too. I didn't ask for a pop refill, he brought it and just in time. I would recommend to try it, but I most likely wouldn't order it again. 3/5 We got beef tips with a side of mash and chili. The mash was good, and the chili was okay. Nothing spectacular. I've been here a few times and recently dined in, after what felt like a decade of not going. Hey...I live in the south metro and driving for 40 minutes to get steak seems crazy! Before you make your way to Roadhouse, use the "call ahead seating" - it doesn't guarantee you a specific time, but at least you'll be on the list when you arrive. We used this feature and still waited 45 minutes after we arrived (yeah...it's THAT good). Since we had to wait and it was cold outside, we made our way to the crowded bar area - got ourselves some big margaritas and beers. We we stood, chatted and took in all the smells of amazing grilled meats (and people watching of course!). Once we finally got seated, we already knew what we wanted and ordered immediately. A pair of ribeye (got the last pieces!), NY strip, filet, salads and blooming onion - oh and more adult beverages - and BUNS! They herd people in and out like cattle though and be prepared to feel rushed. We were greeted immediately by a friendly server. She brought us drinks and asked to take the order. We hadn't had time to check out the menu yet. When she came back we bought time by ordering an appetizer. I swear two minutes later she asked to take our dinner order. Whoa little Cowpoke! Can we catch our breath? The next time she came by we ordered. A few minutes passed and our salads came out before the appetizer. The entrees came out just a few minutes after that. Way too fast!! I'm serious that the steaks were better than what they charge. The rib appetizer was delicious too! They were tender, meaty, sweet, and smokey. Came with thick cut steak fries. Sadly, i give 1 star because of their closed-mindedness. After visiting once and eating, everything was fine, we showed or e drivers license and ordered alcohol and had a good time. On our last night we came back and the waiter rejected our European standard driver's licenses as a form of ID. We explained this is all we ever use (we travel for business in the states many times a year) and it is all we use. She said she wanted to show it to her supervisor, Sadie, which said they will not serve us. We asked to speak to her, and she rejected it our attempt outright and said we either show passports or nothing (who walks around in a foreign country with their passport on them instead of in a locked box?). We explained a simple search in official websites will confirm the validity, and the structure of a European licenses, and even offered to show copies of our passports which we do carry, which have identical information to our driver's license. Sadie would not back down from her point, saying she only respects american documents or a passport. Shame. read more

This IS my favourite steakhouse. No other steak does it for me. I love the environment, the affordability, the endless peanuts, and those sweet honey butter rolls. Hands down, the best house salad around. Their housemade ranch is to die for. I also truly enjoy all their other sides. I order my steak Pittsburgh rare (aka black and blue) and 9/10 they prepare it to perfection! During COVID-19 we haven't gone to Texas Roadhouse very often because it is a drive from Minnetonka. We were in the neighborhood today but it was really humid and wasn't picturing us eating a steak in the car. We had never had a burger there and decided to get burgers. It was a really great burger! I always get my meal with the Caesar Salad and Loaded Mashed Potatoes. Their caesar salad dressing? Let me tell you! It is soooo good. Not too sour and not too potent like most caesar dressings are. Its very subtle and mmmm mmmm mmmm, you just have to taste it for yourself. Loaded Mashed Potatoes are always good when it comes with two generous scoops of butter. I also had an alcoholic drink. Why not right? Ordered their Skinny Margarita because this chick is watching her calories! LOL! Yeah right, counting calories after the meal I just described? But wait!
