Had such a horrible time here so I order steak and asked for it well done but when I got it it was so burnt tasted like straight up charcoal so they take my steak back make me a new one and when I got it back that steak was raw!!! They took my steak back up to a total of five times which was unacceptable. And when my steak came back it came back in pieces instead of it being whole. I can not have any meat with pink in it still because I will get very sick. We asked our waitress for a manger and it took almost 45 minutes for a manager to come and when she came she was also rude. Ordered a mango margarita and brought us a the wrong drink took it back and brought back the same cup and drink with just mango slices in it . Asked for smash potatoes with sour cream only and was brought with cheese instead of sour cream . First time we went after it opened you couldn't ask for better. The several subsequent times we went after that we noticed a diminished quality in the food. The last time the arrogance of the manager insisting on my wife and I showing our ID to get a drink was ridiculous. We are in our 60's and are regular customers. We know several of the servers in there. Needless to say we go no more. This is not my first visit but my first bad experience. We were seated right away and our server took our order as soon as our drinks which was great. After we receive our food the server never checked on us again, however he was waiting on the tables around us and they were being served nicely it was hard not to see the difference between the other guest and our party is the color of our skin. We were not offered more bread or refills on our drinks. Our steaks were overcooked and dry but we never said anything since we weren't checked on until we got the bill. It was my first time coming to this restaurant and I loved it. The inside of the restaurant it very nicely decorated. I really like the cabin wood all over the place. I also like the artwork on the walls really ties into the texas theme. Order the tater skins those things are so delicious. Its basically a baked potato split into pieces which cheese, sour cream, and bacon it taste so good. BBQ ribs are also really delicious love the way they taste so soft. Finally the country fried steak is also really good. The service here was also good my server was constantly checking in and made some drink recommendations. Came Saturday afternoon and it was an hour and a half wait. This place was packed inside and out! As soon as we were seated we were quickly attended and had our drink and orders out in. The server was quick, friendly, and attentive. This place has a great ambience and great for bigger groups. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin with the chili soup and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were yummy! My steak was more on the dry side but still good. I also really enjoyed the complimentary bread and butter they give out. The iced teas were a bit too sweet for me. Texas Roadhouse does all the little things well. When combined, it equals a near Five Star experience. The chain consistently serves up some really tasty food. Whether it's Ribs, Chicken or Steak, everything is good. We came by for a late lunch one day, just as the crowd was leaving, timing is everything as they say. We were seated promptly at a booth and our waters were dropped pretty quickly. On another visit we waited a half hour, but the sights and music made it fun while we did. Also consider their Take-Out. If you look around at all the steak places on yelp, for some reason, this national chain seems to be about the best in the area. Well, going to Texas Roadhouse completely validates that great rating. The service has been impeccable every time. They are prompt, with hot bread on the table the moment that you pop down. The friendliness of staff is off the charts. Tonight, when my wife and I were leaving, we were thanked and told to have a nice night by no fewer than three people on the way out. What amazing service. The food Itself is also very good. I've had better steaks than the one that I get here, but I've also had steaks at those same places that were terrible. Texas Roadhouse is consistent on their food quality and it's always good. Menifee's top-rated restaurant, and for a reason. Spoiler this place is a chain but a well oiled chain that knows how to get it right. It's a massive menu with so much to like, I struggled with my order because since I'm on a diet tonight was a splurge. Food was great! We went for early dine in on St Patrick's Day. Not a long wait at all. We got the seeking and normally it's chewy but today it melted like butter. Whether I'm sitting at the bar or at a table, the service is outstanding. The food is absolutely out of this world. Again, I have never had something bad from here. If you have not yet had the opportunity to experience Texas Roadhouse rolls with their butter, you are missing out on true happiness. It's close to impossible to not let out an audible mmmm while eating them. My go to order is the filet with loaded baked potato and side salad with their HOMEMADE Italian dressing. I'm so obsessed with the dressing, I buy a 32 oz container of it to go so I can enjoy it at home too. Margaritas are amazing too, especially with the kickers Loooove this place!!! Get all the rolls you want and some Togo. To loud. With and without music it is to loud. They need to work on getting the noise level down. We love Texas Roadhouse but unfortunately we had a really bad experience yesterday. We all ordered our food and about 30-45 minutes the food came out and they messed up on the kids meal sliders. The sliders came with no burger (what...? lol) they said they'd go back and fix it immediately so we didn't mind. More time went on and we were done with our food and the child had to eat bits from our plates from being hungry. They said they'd go check on it again and still nothing came back. 30 minutes after our food was served and finished, two managers came to apologize but still didn't give us the kids meal. They took it off the bill and said they'd make the burgers after we were ready to leave. We were getting up from our table after waiting nearly an hour for two little sliders and they finally gave it to us. Poor kid left the restaurant hungry. Forgetting an adult meal, whatever. But a kid being hungry and watching everyone else eat is unacceptable. read more

Texas Roadhouse is probably in the top 5 of restaurants in Menifee given the limited options. That makes this location BUSY. Go early!! 2 years ago they removed this location from their automated waitlist on their app and website. If going for dinner, get there by 4pm to avoid the rush. They also took out the waiting area in front so everyone is forced to crowd around the entrance which eventually violates fire code and then they request your mobile number and tell your party to go wait in your car or outside until a table is available. If arriving near dinner time, do yourselves a favor and send in a "representative" to put your name in and have everyone else wait in the car. The steak kabobs are delicious and decently priced for what you get. I am also a fan of their side salad. My 10 year old ordered the mini hamburgers and was disappointed, there barely was any meat. He ended up eating an entire basket of bread with cinnamon butter instead. I had a great time at the Texas Roadhouse. The restaurants internal appearance was as if Chili's had a steak house but in a good nostalgic way. It was really busy inside but the wait went by fast. They also give you a bag of peanuts to keep you busy. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They asked us if this was our first time and since it was they gave us the run down. Before we even ordered a drink the waiter sat down a nice basket of bread rolls and butter. Oh man these were so good. Every time the basket of rolls was empty the waiter would promptly replace them. They were not stingy at all. We order a Cactus Blossom for an appetizer. The nostalgia kicked back in with this one, and it was prepared perfectly as I remembered it. For dinner we both had a Ft. Worth Ribeye (cooked medium rare) smothered with onions/mushrooms & a loaded baked potato. The steak was cooked perfectly and came out with a pink center. It tasted amazing.
