This is my favorite BBQ and steak house. Every time it has long waiting line for dinner in. I ordered to go today. Family package is good. I like the BBQ ribs, soft with cherry wood sweet. My family and I had a good visit earlier this month, on a very busy dinner rush Saturday night. I wish I got her name but the seating host greeted our group right away and was so friendly. I had brought a cake to celebrate my grandfather's birthday and she offered to make sure it was taken care of during our meal and let our server know the details. She even made sure to check in with a couple of us on our way out, which I really appreciated. Our server was kind but she disappeared for quite a bit of time after we received our meals, leaving refills and missing items to be an after thought. It was obvious they were a bit overstretched on the server side that evening, as a neighboring table was met with bigger issues. The quality of the food was good and we all enjoyed our meals in the end but I would probably sit in a different area of the restaurant next time or visit during a less busy time read more

We've had some great food here. Love the house salad. It's basic but they chill the plate & makes all the difference in the world. Good old fashioned cocktail & vodka martinis. Not weak. Entrees we've had are prime rib, steak kabobs, filets. Their steaks are pretty good but don't be shy telling them how you want it cooked. Rare means rare !! Loaded baked potato is kind of over cheesy - so say butter, sour cream & chives if that's what you mean by loaded. Baked sweet potato with the works is divine !! Omg this was my first time to a Texas Roadhouse and boy what an experience it was! Becca, Miranda, and Sayra we're amazing! We told them it was our first time and they made the experience so awesome! All of them were very knowledgeable and gave us all the details about things that we should order. All the while providing like, some of the best customer service I've had in a very long time! I got the sirloin and grilled barbecue chicken and it was so delicious! We also got the famous red chili and the butter rolls were freaking fantastic! I hope that management sees this so they will be acknowledged, because they made this such a great experience for us! I'll definitely coming back again! This location rocks my socks! read more

What a fun place! It's very busy, so that is a good sign, be sure to plan ahead (no reservations taken at the Menifee location). But worth a wait. Dining room is large, so wait isn't too long. They give out PEANUTS in the shell to snack on! I think thats awesome. First the bread comes out, yum. Crunchy and chewy at the same time, and WARM with garlic butter. I could make a meal on bread. Staff is friendly and keeps things fun, always a pleasure. After several meals between pork, beef, chicken and fish, I've been extremely happy each time. The pork chops nearly rival moms home cooking (but dont tell mom!). Prices are moderate, but fair. Give them your business, you wont be disappointed, and bring your Mom. read more

I love the fact that Texas Roadhouse has strong standards across the board regardless of which location you go to. I also love the fact that they don't blare their music and dance in the middle of the establishment (at least where we were sitting). I ordered the herb crusted chicken with veggies and a salad and was happy that it tasted just as yummy here as it does at all other locations. Our server was super friendly and helpful.. he was on top of refills and checking on us. I will say that we will be goi g back when we are in the area again... not one complaint. read more

We came and order kabobs steak .. it was way too chewy.. I ate cause I was hungry and drunk (LOL) . My first time visiting this location, and it was worth the first come first serve wait time, and the long line outside. This is a great steakhouse, where you can bring the whole family. We were greeted by every employee that walked past us, which was very welcoming. The place is loud, ample seating, lots to look at to keep you occupied while they prepare your food. Prices are decent for a steakhouse, and worth every penny. I ordered the 11 ounce hand cut sirloin, with a loaded baked potato and side salad. The steak was so tasty and cooked to the perfect medium rare. This steak was very tender, and perfectly seasoned to stand on its own. The sides were great too. We were celebrating my nephew's birthday, and they came around with this mounted saddle that the guest has to sit on so all the patrons can give them Birthday 'yeehaws!' Made the whole night! Our server was attentive to our party of 8, no complaints. Highly recommend, will definitely be back. read more

Been eating here for at least 6 years. Most always I will get excellent service Most always the food will be top shelf Beat BBQ ribs this side of the rendezvous in Memphis Tennessee I ordered a full slab of ribs and took it home to eat as it was so crowded I had to sit at the bar. It was my birthday dinner The best part is because the portions are so large I get to enjoy the ribs for at least 3 meals ( ran out of string beans before the ribs ) Great management great servers great food and worth every dollar I will be back !!! read more

We go to Texas Roadhouse very often. Service is great, food is very good and plenty of it. We usually order the rib eye, Pittsburgh style for cooking. It's a little charred/crispy on the outside, tender and juicy. It is very flavorful (I ask for extra seasoning). DELICIOUS!!! read more

So it's been a long time since I went somewhere and had an absolute great experience from start to finish. And for this place to be Texas roadhouse I was genuinely happily surprised. I always get my steak one temperature of a cheese steakhouse because they always managed to overcook it. However, when I went here, I cooked my steak perfectly. The service was topped here you could tell there was a lot of teamwork at this restaurant. Plus the manager is doing table touches which I feel like I haven't seen in a long time. Stopped here for a snack. Was craving something fried with a dip sauce. First time ordering "to-go" this location was very popular considering the crowd of people waiting outside. That's always a great sign. I placed the order online and arrived the same time I received a text that my order is ready for pick up. They were punctual about the time they confirmed and the order was hot and ready to go. Service was friendly and attentive. We came here with a big group, there were 13 adults and 2 kids. The wait was understandably long, like 2 hours . It seemed like it was longs waits regardless of party size, this was Sunday at 5:30. Once we were seated we were helped rather quickly. Our server, Isley, was the best. He was fun and attentive. Very organized as well which made ordering easier and kept things flowing. After 2 hours we were starving. We ordered about 5 apps. Plus the complimentary bread, it was hot and fluffy and delicious. The apps we got were the cactus blossom, tater skins, cheese fries, and the combo platter. Across the board everything tasted fresh and decadent the kind of food you'd expect. Isley was also helpful with our drink orders he gave recommendations and explanations when needed. I got the sangria Margarita with an extra shot of patron. So cold and sweet and dangerous. I ordered the salmon and for my taste it was a bit over cooked. Everything else was cooked well, just the steaks needed a hit of salt to take them up a notch. Went for a late lunch after visiting the pumpkin patch with my grandkids on Sunday. Even though the place was bustling we were seated within three minutes of waiting. The place has a great decor and can accommodate family and groups. Staff clearly is happy where they work and their service shows it. The first thing the server shows up with is their freshly baked bread rolls with honey butter. They are to die for. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with avocado added. It comes with steak fries and a quarter slice of dill. They put their burgers on a broché bun that they order in, which is an excellent addition to a well-built burger. Fresh crispy, lettuce, red onions and tomato. Topped it off, with the charbroiled burger patty cooked to perfection. The steak fries were golden brown and not at all greasy. Overall, this is an excellent burger. It really would be nice if they would buy their ketchup without high fructose corn syrup in it. If the industry stop buying it, then Hines and Hunts would do away with the toxin. Although busy and somewhat noisy, if you want good fresh food at a decent price, and a very nice setting with excellent customer service this is definitely one place to stop at! read more

This location is just always so busy! I love Texas Roadhouse bc their bread is just too awesome. The ambiance is lively just bc every time I come, its always so busy. I'd love to give the place more stats, but I don't like the food much. I go here to get their chili and bread. Their drinks are too expensive and they don't really have a happy hour. Their steaks don't taste incredibly good or anything, but the chili and bread are enough for me to dine here. read more

I paid $115 which was very pricey, especially since the portions were small and the oxtails were all fat and WAY too salty. The greens were tasty and I loved the yams and cornbread. I didn't care for the negative comments written on my to go containers, one of which was written in bright red marker and said "GREENS ARE SPICY READ THE MENU!" That to me was not necessary or kind, especially when I've been a loyal patron. For $115 I expect to receive EVERYTHING I paid for, better quality and better customer service.

I also thought it's rare to see the owner to be helping out and attending to customers, so it was also nice to see that he cares a lot about his business! Definitely would come again!

It's a very pleasant spot. Look for: "COUNTRYSIDE MARKETPLACE " just off of Newport/Haun Rd near Highway 215. Let me pop back inside and throw a couple of shekels in the "tip jar"! It's a refreshing nicely curated interior, unseen in the Menifee area. This brings a little "elevated" sophistication to retirement central! A ray of SUN in the CITY one might say. Applebee's regulars be prepared for a new experience that might shock you if you can take the leap. The lovely plated dishes coming out of that kitchen were top-notch architectural masterpieces. I will have to return soon, but I'm vegetarian so I might have some limitation, but we'll see. Maybe they'll whip something up? The interior is trying to be real hip and it sort of works in a positive way but a little bit of that modern gauche. You know, kind of like Z gallery meets mid-century with a slight Lichtenstein tribute with a cartoonish flavour. It does work though, and carries to the exterior or the exterior carries to the interior? With the limitations of a strip mall it's a little bit hard to put lipstick on a pig. But they've executed it well and it's inviting and a departure from the norm. I'm excited to get there soon.

This place was disappointing. First of all, the food was really greasy and almost no vegetables offered on any of the dishes except the side of veggies. It's literally carb, bread and cheese heart attacks to choose from. There should be some lighter options for those that don't weigh 300 lbs and don't plan too anytime soon. Even the salads came with almost no vegetables and were loaded up with unhealthy cheeses, bacon, eggs etc. The mashed potatoes were lumpy, starchy and flavorless and the tater skins came drenched in grease. The cactus bloom was hard to pick apart without the entire thing collapsing and the flavor was just alright. My boyfriend said the catfish was okay, although there was more breading than fish. Also the service left much to be desired. Our waitress (short blonde on the plump side) seemed like she was stoned or something, I mean, that's the only appropriate reason I can think of for how scatterbrained and forgetful she seemed to be. She forgot our peanuts after asking twice for them, (good service means she should have brought them without us even requesting, especially more than once.) She never offered refills and to top it off, it took about 15-20 minutes to get my margarita. We were done with our meals and boxing our leftovers up when she finally brought it to the table and it was almost completely melted! Ridiculous! I had to send it back. Also our food was lukewarm and it's obvious she let it sit for some time before bringing it, just like the margarita. I am a bartender and have served tables myself many times and when service was this so-so before CLOSING when the restaurant was empty, I can't imagine how bad it would be on a busy day. One of the other servers, food runners or even the bartender could have taken 10 seconds of their time to drop it off rather than let it sit there and melt, but it seems like staff here just isn't trained well to work together. When we walked in hostesses just stared at us until we said we would like a table. There was no welcome and no "Thank You" when we left. All these small efforts really add up and can make or break a person's dining experience. Because of the food and service, we won't be back. Prices are okay and I guess this place is good enough to satisfy Menifee residents but those who know what good dining is won't bother returning. They really need to get their act together and train their employees with higher standards. read more

I came here on a weekday during the day and it wasn't busy but the wait time was over 45 mins and I assumed it was because there wasn't enough servers, and I was correct! We got seated and our server seemed to be handling multiple sections and I felt so bad, but we tipped good and she did great, it took her a little bit longer, but she did warn us and checked up on a lot after we got our food and the rush of people coming in had died down, I think her name was Savannah or Sarah maybe Samantha?? I just remembered it started with an S sorry honey!! But now onto the bad part, we ordered the blooming onion appetizer and I like it with pepper so I started sprinkling some and the whole lid came undone! Our server noticed and immediately got us a new appetizer and said it was on the house, but when we got our check we were charged for it and we wanted to ask but it was no big deal so we started getting ready to leave and she came back to give us an appetizer and bread to go! So sweet of her!! We didn't even ask, but I think she remembered too late and forgot not to charge us for the onion. I think her manager saw her because as we were walking out the door it looked like she was speaking to someone in a dress shirt and tie and she looked upset... I wanted to say something, but we were being rushed out the door because they were very busy again.. I really hope she is okay! I called the restaurant and told them I'd like to personally thank her and they said they'd let her know, but they sounded annoyed.. Is she the only nice person working there?? I told one of the hostesses about the pepper incident and she laughed and with attitude said I shook it too hard and I got lucky on the free appetizer... I felt embarrassed and my face of disappointment made her say "I'm just kidding" I just walked away because I wasn't even laughing to begin with I was showing concern and she must of been in a funny mood to make those comments.. she never apologized for her comments, all she said was she was just kidding and AGAIN with attitude like if I offended her.. if it wasn't for our server I'd give this place a 1 star.. the food is decent and affordable but the service needs help.. read more

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Texas Roadhouse, and what an incredible experience it was! Despite the restaurant being very busy, we were seated promptly, which set a positive tone for the evening. Our server, Eddie, was truly exceptional. From the moment we sat down, he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making our dining experience memorable. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made us feel special, and it's safe to say that he provided one of the best services we've ever encountered! Kathleen, the store manager, also stopped by to check on us. Her dedication to guest satisfaction was evident as she ensured everything was perfect. It's clear that the staff at Texas Roadhouse truly care about their customers! Now let's talk about the food - it was absolutely amazing! Every dish was delicious, and the flavors were on point. The highlight of the evening, however, was celebrating my niece's fifth birthday. She had a blast getting on the saddle for her special moment, and the restaurant made it extra fun for her! Regarding a concern with it to go order. My response can you please let me know your name please? Their response why do you wanna know my name? Because man I wanna know who I'm speaking to on the phone! Their response yeah but why do you wanna know my name? My response ma'am it's very normal for you to provide your name to a customer when you answer the phone in a professional establishment such as Texas Road House. Their response yeah well I don't feel comfortable giving you my name click and then hang up on me I was like WTF what??!! I have officially dubbed this restaurant: Texas Wastehouse. The food is prepared by Uncle Jose and Aunt Maria who act like they can cook! I ordered the "Prime" Rib with a baked potato and a side salad. The meat had more fat showing that Rosie O'Donnell in a bikini! Disgusting and hideous looking! Trim that mess, nobody wanna see that! Especially on a "prime" cut and high quality menu item. It was not worth the price, $20+, and it tasted very bland. Nothing stood out, aside from all the (Oprah) fat, and it was very tough to cut. The baked potato was whatever. Apparently Uncle Jose learned how to operate the microwave because it tasted like a zapped potato. Must have been through all those Kid Cuisine's he warms up for his 9 children. The salad was stupid. It was suppose to be a side salad, but I was given a large separate entree salad. Didn't even touch it to be honest. Took it back home for another meal. Worst part: Texas Dumbhouse charged me for the salad as if I ordered it.... Stupid. Texas Roadhouse is always a good time! The drinks are always ON POINT and even though the wait time can sometimes be long, that just shows how worth it the place really is. The staff is amazing, super friendly, attentive, and always keeps the energy fun and welcoming. The food never disappoints, and let's be honest... those warm rolls with the cinnamon butter deserve their own review Definitely one of the best parts! But for me, it's ALL about the ribs. Tender, flavorful, and falling right off the bone every time. And don't forget the birthday celebrations Bring your cowboy hat because hopping on the saddle is a MUST! I love how everyone around gets involved clapping and cheering, even the guests sitting nearby. It really makes the experience fun and memorable. The ambience with the cabin look, the bar decor and more, looking around definitely passes the time while you wait. I would like to personally thank Texas Roadhouse in Menifee for their incredible generosity in providing a free meal for Veterans Day. I truly appreciate their support for our veterans and their commitment to honoring those who have served this country. It was such a meaningful gesture, and I couldn't be more grateful. As always, the atmosphere at this location was warm and inviting, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. I ordered the 6 oz. Sirloin, cooked medium well, and it was absolutely perfect--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The two complimentary sides paired wonderfully with the steak and were just the right touch to satisfy my hunger. Overall, I had a fantastic time, and I'm grateful for the consistent quality of both the food and the service at this Texas Roadhouse. Thank you again for your unwavering support of the military and for making this Veterans Day extra special. I'll definitely be back as usual for more delicious meals!!! I love Texas Roadhouse, from the staff, to the food, everything. Tonight was a little different. Food great, staff started out amazing, ive never had issues. Tonight, an elder gentleman sitting in the booth across from me, he actually ended up having an accident. It was truly sad, cause he probably couldn't help it. Him and his other half got up and left, there was a slight oder, but me being respectful I kept it to myself, moved on with my dinner and drinks. I overheard the bartender (looked like mike the situation from jerseyshore) making fun of him. Im 28 years old, younger then the bartender and that behavior is child like. Respect your elders, idk if ill ever be back. I have a whole different view on this person. He started out great, ended AWFUL. I have never wanted to reach over a bar and smack the shit out of someone more than tonight. Imagine if that was your dad, or grandfather, god forbid. Our family enjoyed a pleasant evening at Texas Roadhouse, taking advantage of the free kids meals our children received for school attendance. I ordered a delicious medium-rare New York steak, my wife chose the fillet, and our kids happily indulged in their kids meals. Courtney, our waitress, was remarkably quick and attentive, ensuring we went through three generous baskets of bread. The hot and flavorful food, along with the reasonable bill, made for a satisfying dining experience. However, we encountered a minor inconvenience when my wife and daughter used the women's restroom, finding the floors excessively sticky. Despite this, we appreciated the overall experience enough to rate it four stars. The tight parking lot led us to park in front of the adjacent building, and the absence of an indoor waiting area for pickups was a downside on this chilly night. Despite these minor inconveniences, Texas Roadhouse remains the most popular restaurant in Menifee. read more
