This place was really cute and way better than I remembered it. The service, ambiance and food were all a 5 out of 5! We loved the peanuts! It was nostalgic! The appetizer sampler is a must and the ribs appetizers with fries were a great start to our main course; burger, chicken salad, filet mignon and rib eye. And the dinner rolls with the cinnamon butter, Lord have mercy! Just great all around! Definitely a must when visiting Ocala. Enjoy!

SO GREAT! Was craving filet and sat at the bar (Amber rocks). Got the Filet medallions (3 each totaling 9 oz) w/ 3 sides for $24!!??!! The BEST Applesauce, good steak fries, & big house salad WITH croutons and EGG! And they include portobello mushroom ‍ sauce OR a peppercorn sauce for the mushroom haters for FREE. The bread is LIFE! 3 giant rolls w/ cinnamon honey butter AND Your own bag of peanuts in an individual bucket. They write your name in dry erase (and let me doodle! ) Love TX Roadhouse!

Came in for dinner last night and I can say it was a decent experience. We had a bit of a wait which is okay and fine, the host who was taking us got us two basket of bread how thoughtful but he forgot to give us butter for it! Totally cool... we asked our server for it and he brought it. But then we ran out :( and needed more and was waiting for our server to come back to get us more until one of the acting manager stopped by the table asking if we needed anything let her know which we asked for more butter and she said absolutely and then we just never saw that butter again lol. Anyways the food hmm it was okay. I think the med rare was abit more bloody than usually as well the steak had 0 flavor which was unfortunate But the side and the drink was amazing though ! It made up for it lol

I want to start by saying thank you to Amber our lovely waitress that was spot on in every way. We were worried because it was so busy but were seated right away. I got the herb crusted chicken fried pickled sweet potato and salad and everything was so good so thank you to the chefs . My husband got a burger and a potato and my kids got the chicken critters and steak which I didn't even know were that flavorful ! We had endless bread at our table and amber did not miss a beat! This has been the best dining experience so far in Ocala and I will be back !

After school appetizers and dinner! We arrived were seated quickly at 4pm. The waitress was super friendly, the manager stopped in to see how everything was. The restaurant was clean and quiet. We had the appetizer platter, a couple of sirloin dinners and salads. Everything was great! A family of four the bill was $73.

just now New Dinner | $50-100 When I leave this review, let's be clear that the waitress did a fantastic job. The only problem was I ordered, prime rib, medium rare, and before I ordered, I'll make sure that they have it because they have to verify or they cannot put the order in. And they had it in the order was put in and one minute before they brought the entire order out. They come out to tell me that they're out of prime rib what would I like? I ordered the New York strip. It came out when everybody was about half done with their meals, and I had a lot of gristle and fat in it. I wasn't gonna do anything until I received my bill and it still had prime rib on it so I asked for the manager why they did not comp half or put $15 gift card towards my meal for the major inconvenience of what they did. Manager in this photo it's a good shirt came out. He said I'm sorry basically suck it up deal with it. I brought six people into the restaurant this evening and he failed to realize I was there a night before and in my business that I own, I take the entire Spa to Texas roadhouse for some of our celebrations. Well, I'm sorry but normally I wouldn't leave these reviews, but I will on yelp Google and Tripadvisor because this type of arrogant nonprofessional way of doing business is not good.

    Refried Chicken Critters-nothing fresh here.

Calling the fire dept something is flaming! I'm a huge fan of the critter salad, but this is the 2nd time I've come to my local establishment to be served nuggets.......and ones that seem refried at that. Not sure if something has changed, but TRH you may want to swap back. Fresh is not a word I would correlate to these/nuggets/salad. To be noted when I asked the local manager if there had been a change she offered a new fresh batch. Assembled salad pic That helps me but not the other patrons. #texasroadhousewasbetterwhen #texasroadhousecritterblues

We originally were going to Ruby Tuesdays...but guess what? Not only is their Gainesville location closed, so is their Ocala! So disappointed at first, but since the hubby was choosing, right in the same parking lot was Texas Roadhouse, so here we are. This is somewhere that (and I'm embarrassed to admit it) I've never been to before. And wow, was I so impressed. No more than just a few minutes until we were led back to our table and we got the luck of the draw with our server, Keithshaun. He was friendly, entertaining and very quick to bring us everything and check up on us often. We were so happy to end up here after all. We've been wary of Ocala restaurants since the fiasco we endured at Olive Garden here. I'm happy to announce that Texas Roadhouse does not have any problems we've seen so far with food, cleanliness or service. Instead of ordering several different appetizers, we opted for the three app sampler and got potato skins, rattlesnake bites and fried pickles. They were all hot and fresh, delicious and we inhaled them almost immediately! Highly recommend their potato skin!! Much better than some other place (and I'm not dropping any names here) and oh my...those rattlesnake bites that are chopped jalapeños mixed with cheddar cheese, battered then deep fried...SOOOO good! The fried pickles really hit the spot too...just managed to clear all that out when my Caesar salad arrived. Wow!! So good too. Sometimes restaurants will overdress your salad and it's just too much...sometimes they really skimp on dressing and you're begging for just a lil bit more....this was PERFECT. Their house Caesar dressing has that fresh flavor to it and a nice bite of parmesan cheese. I was not only impressed....I was delighted! For our meal, he ordered the bone-in ribeye steak with double fries (can't tell he likes his meat and potatoes, can you? Lol) while I ordered the double grilled pork chops with a plain sweet potato (I'm allergic to milk, therefore, butter is a no-no). His steak was smothered in grilled onions and mushrooms...cooked to perfection. Shock and awe was written all over his face after that first bite! I was so happy he was loving it too. I wouldn't normally order TWO pork chops ever, but two were only $16.99 and I was still well under the cost of his steak. They were perfectly seasoned, juicy and tender, topped with a phenomenal peppercorn sauce that was to die for! My sweet potato was also perfectly cooked, moist and the perfect compliment to the meal. Next time we go out, I know where we can be sure to have a great meal for less than we'd normally spend and get great food, great service and have a great time...HERE!

Takes much longer th get curbside food than they initially tell you. If your time is precious go somewhere that treats you accordingly.

The young lady behind the counter was friendly, patient, and handled all of our questions like a true professional. The food was excellent across the board. My daughter ordered the burger, my wife had the salmon and turkey, my son had the ribs, and I went with the Yardbird. Everything was cooked perfectly, and no one had a single complaint. We tried a variety of sides, and the mac and cheese was the clear family favorite. While we were eating, we had a nice conversation with one of the ladies working in the dining room. She surprised us by bringing over two blueberry cobblers on the house, which was incredibly thoughtful. It was honestly the best blueberry cobbler I've ever had. Great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back. On a second visit My son and I stopped in for dinner after our CAP meeting. We placed our order and went to get our drinks. Shortly afterward, our order was ready. We both chose the smoked cheddar burger. I would have liked it to be a little hotter, but it was still very good. Of course, we paired it with fries and mac and cheese. While we were getting our food, I noticed a gentleman who had arrived before us was still waiting. He spoke with the manager and explained that he had already been waiting about 20 minutes and had not been called. The manager immediately apologized and had his order prepared on the spot. He then went a step further and issued the gentleman a full refund. It turns out the gentleman was a U.S. Navy veteran. Respect to Mission BBQ for doing the right thing and putting their customers first. That level of service still matters.

I had to put sauce on everything but the sausage and good bbq doesn't need sauce. They had a special banana pudding cheesecake that was honestly the best thing we had and it was absolutely delish. This restaurant has been here forever, but gets really great inspections from the health department despite being an older building. We ordered to-go and ate in the parking lot. What a feast! We ordered their current special: a full slab on payback ribs and 2 sides for a mere $14.99. That was to take home, but we sampled it in the car and no silverware was needed. These ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and juicy and thick. It was hard to remember that these were for later, we wanted them all now! Our sides were fries and baked beans. The beans were good, but the fries were nothing special. My husband got a pulled pork sandwich with green beans and hasn't stopped raving about the green beans the entire time he was eating. He said the sandwich was delicious, too! I like meat cooked well-done, so I ordered a burnt ends sandwich and coleslaw. What a happy surprise that the meat was thinly sliced instead of the usual chunks served at other places! Every single piece of meat was well-cooked, tasty, and not at all fatty or greasy. I'm a fan! The coleslaw was delicious, too! Our to-go ordered was served with a smile, plenty of napkins and silverware and ketchup and salt and pepper and barbecue sauce. I found a new restaurant to crave (again)!

Not a big crowd, but it was nice with football on the t.v. and a little country music playing at a nice level. My 1/2 lb burger was cooked and seasoned well, it arrived good and hot too. The cold slaw was good, and tasty. Dawn had the 4 seasons salad, and she said it was good and the grilled chicken was palatable. Overall we had a good meal and decent experience. We would definitely come back again. Jewelz, our server made several trips to our table, and kept our glasses full.

We started with Carolina Tater Skins. Absolutely DELICIOUS! Potato skins with Roast Pork, cheese, bacon, green onions, topped with bbq sauce...cup of sour cream in the middle. Didn't last over 3 minutes for the two of us and there were 6 of them! They were THAT delicious. I ordered the Birria Tacos (3) with a side salad and my husband got the Cuban Clucker sandwich with a side of crinkle fries. We spoke to our waitress about how we had wanted to try their food for awhile now but just so happened to find ourselves about 1.3 miles from this location tonight and made the decision to try them tonight! She said they were best known for their wings and just how to get them. So we also ordered 10 wings done just that way. Our meals were brought not too long after we demolished our fabulous appetizer. Wow! Absolutely crazy good! I pounded the three Birria Tacos in record time, in between also demolishing my side salad. My husband said his fries were perfect and he's STILL working on that huge sandwich as I write this! Lol The chicken wings, while they looked delicious, once I tried one, there was a strange fishy taste that came across so strong on the wings that didn't have the sweet and spicy sauce on them, that I couldn't eat them. It actually made me gag. I just couldn't eat them. The waitress asked us how we liked them, so I explained what was wrong with them. She offered to have them remade but we declined. She told the manager to come speak to us about them. He was nice enough, but looked intimidated by us (a 61 and 62 yr old?) and kinda looked anywhere but at me when I was explaining what the problem was with the wings. He was said he'd investigate. Our waitress came back and asked if he spoke with us. I said he did. She asked what he said and I said he told us he'd investigate the problem. She asked us if he said he's take the wings off our bill and I said no. She said she'd take them off anyways because it was a whole 10 wings we didn't eat. I said, thanks but I'm not trying to get free food especially if she gets in trouble for doing that. She said but you didn't even eat them! I said she couldn't have paid ME to eat them! The taste was so gross I actually used a napkin to wipe the taste off my tongue! She laughed. We went ahead and ordered dessert to make up for the wings we sent back and then didn't want after all. The bourbon peach bread pudding turned out to be sold out, so we settled on beignet bites for him and Pecan Pie for myself. Both were EXCELLENT! WE will definitely be back to see our fantastic waitress Anna and to try more of their menu because they have some of the most delicious sounding entrees! All in all, we were impressed by the fantastic food (minus the fishy wings), but everything was fresh, delicious and very decently priced! Great place to bring the family because there's something for everyone here. Chicken tenders to burgers and all kinds of sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta...diversity without being outrageous. Great combos! Can't wait to try something else next visit! You know it was a great meal when your husband turns to you as you're walking to the car together and he says "thank you babe. That was really good!". 'Nuff said?

The over fried food :( The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The hostess nearly had a heart attack when we told her 15 people but Mr. Michael was more than accommodating and our waitress Destiny crashed out before we were seated but she was on it, friendly and attentive! She always made sure we were looked at and answered our questions. Alright the food ..... While for the most part it was DELICIOUS, there was some that someone back there loves to over fry the food. All of our sweet potatoes fries were burnt and had the taste of just used oil, it had no meat. The one that made us upset was the beef empanada, it came out doo doo brown and it was not appetizing. The texture was horrendous, no airy crisps to the bread and taste horrible! Even when putting the salsa and sour cream, the freezer burn and over fried cooking oil taste over powered everything. Destiny said that they didn't have empanadas ready and weren't expecting to serve a great amount... Whoever is in the kitchen then should prep and be mindful that a kitchen is a live operation... Gordan Ramsey would never. It was horrific and my friend still paid because she didn't want to complain, we ordered 8 plates of those and 4 were left over. Basically, your food could be over fried, inconsistent, served with no passion and over powered with raw oil.
