First time at Texas Roadhouse and I was immediately impressed by the bread rolls with cinnamon butter. So good!! All the appetizers and main dishes we ordered were delicious. For sides, we had mac and cheese (which was just okay), mashed potatoes, and buttered corn. The mashed potatoes and corn were much better. Our server was very sweet and attentive, and made sure to accommodate our dietary needs, which we appreciated. The environment is loud, so it can be a little hard to hear each other, but it's a fun spot for dinner. They're open late too, which is a nice bonus. We've been to the other TR location so this one was a alright. We took our friends for the first time since we were staying in a nearby resort. The baby back ribs was not the way I expected , my friend ordered the pork chop and she said it was really dry. The guys ordered steaks and they picked it out before we sat down... thank goodness they cooked it the way they asked for it "medium" . This place is not worth your time! There were a lot of people in line, so I asked if they took walk-ins and she said yes and added us to the waitlist. 35-40 minutes later, I still didn't get a text, so I walked in and talked to the girl handling the check-ins to ask how much longer we had to wait and she said 10 more minutes. Right after I asked her, I received the bump-up text moving us up to next in line. If I didn't ask, we would still be sitting outside waiting. Meanwhile, all the people who were there with us were already seated, and she also took care of the rest of the new arrival customers immediately, letting them come inside right away. I was just observing and it made me really upset that she gave the tables 1st to the people who came there around the same time as we did and to those who just arrived. Why make us wait for that long if you were going to not give us the table but prioritize new arrivals because they have more of people or for whatever reasons, when you can just tell me you cannot accommodate/serve us and I would understand that and not waste my time! Wasting my time waiting in the cold! I was just going to let it go and drive off after waiting 45 minutes, but I was so angry I had to come back and get out of my car to confront her and ask. She then lied that those people were ahead of us first. We were literally there sitting outside for 45 minutes for me not to see who comes in and out. Everybody who literally just arrived, she immediately took care of them and gave them the table, meanwhile my son and I are still outside waiting. Is she serious? Telling me she knows how to do her job when she definitely does not! Even my son saw the whole thing and wondered the same! I will never come back. Service is very poor! Our server Kayla was excellent and made sure we were happy. This place is always jumping and when I come home to visit it is one of my go to places. Suggest that you get there as soon as they open. I'm very picky when it comes to eating shrimp, and I don't like just any recipe. However, I tried the shrimp at this place, and I absolutely loved the dish. The seasoning was excellent, and the baked potato was delicious. To be honest, I didn't really like the green beans, but I didn't pay much attention to that because the rest of my meal was amazing. It is nice that I can update with a positive note. The place was very crowded even more so the day after Christmas. Most times that I pass this place it is always crowded, people waiting indoors and out. I guess its a good thing for the business. So today was like any day, it was busy we waited 10-15 min before we were seated. The host was kind and made small talk on the way to our table. This place seems to be on the loud side, so don't come here if you are looking for a quiet dinner. Our server, Larissa was pleasant right from the start. She was friendly and always carried a smile. I ordered a slush Margarita with Taijin rimmed glass. My order was Country Fried Sirloin w/white gravy. The sides I selected were Spicy rice and buttered corn. While we waited for our ordered we were served a basket of their well known rolls. I hadn't had them in so long I had forgotten how good they were! I asked for another serving of the rolls. I was quite pleased with my dinner. The sirloin was seasoned just right and the fried batter kept its crunch and wasn't greasy. I was too full to have dessert! I can't believe I just typed that! Next time I will start with dessert. I would come back here, but not my to go to place only because of the wait. So I have been to four different Texas Roadhouses in several states usually on work trips because someone else wanted to go there and they have all been consistently horrible. I was hoping this one would be different, but unfortunately it was not. We ordered fried pickles to begin with. It was so salty, I was sure it was an accident like the top came off of the salt shaker or something. We had our waiter taste the fried pickles and the face he made was priceless. He was having a hard time swallowing it. Then our entrees came out. I had the country fried chicken and hubby had a New York strip. Both were inedible due to the salt level. It was insane. Someone needs to let the cooks know that salt is not the only seasoning in the world. I basically had bread, corn and a beer for dinner because everything else was a giant salt bomb. Our server was so fun and relatable, he recommended the potato soup, as pictured. It was paired with the catfish plate and 1/2 rack of ribs. The ribs were good, it wasn't drenched with sauce. We also had the chili and it was standard. The chili and soup was served warm, so we can immediately eat it. We dined here for Sunday lunch time and there was plenty of table and bar seating available. Then we left around 1pm, the restaurant was fully packed. This man and his untrained dog created a very unsafe environment for the customers and worker at the window yesterday. He let it nip at a woman's hand and the photo I shared is after it lunged into the window causing the poor older woman worker to have to fend the dog off and at this young man sitting next to the window ! Him and his dog were terrorizing everyone who was waiting for their orders because the kitchen was behind. He needs to be banned!! This is lawsuit waiting to happen against this location, he is there frequently. Me and my child did NOT feel safe. The service was excellent, but unfortunately the food quality was very poor. I ordered the steak medallions (3 pieces for $30), and each piece was so small it could be eaten in two bites. Worse, the meat was rubbery and very hard to chew, which made it seem like old or low-quality inventory. Other family members ordered the ribeye and salmon, $30 each. The salmon portion was tiny and completely lacking flavour, have not spoken to the person who ordered the the rib eye. To make matters worse, the $5 margarita made the person who ordered it feel sick afterward, which raises concerns about the quality or freshness of the ingredients used. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the food quality. Despite the good service, we will not be returning to this establishment. read more

My only complaint is sometimes they have a very weird seating arrangement in the dining room. Very crammed.
