I liked this location. The wait isn't so miserable as other ones like the one in menifee. This one is nestled in a nice plaza with other shopping. I had a party of 16 and I was glad they tried to seat us all together as best as they could even on a busy afternoon. The steaks are generally pretty good here and I LOVE their chili and baked potato! They have some pretty delicious mixed drinks as well. I will always remember this day as I fit 5 marines into my RS5 coupe. Lmao! I drove them to Texas roadhouse that way and we went back home an hour drive that way. I got the catfish again lol but it's my go to and just love their Caesar salad, it's just so good and I love when people give you cold salad in a chilled bowl! It just hits different. The margarita seemed a bit watered down and I do recommend the extra shot in there for a couple of bucks or just get wine or a beer. It was pretty good for the first couple bites, but I truly didn't see much flavor when it came down to the cinnamon butter, there needed to be more. I should have been more cautious about the food in once I saw how busy they were. I ordered a bone in ribeye that had that "been in the fridge/freezer too long with its multicolored sheen" some steaks get. The steak was too chewy for that cut of meat also. It just didn't taste right, and I should know, I have cooked too many ribeyes to know when one has been frozen and thawed too quickly in a restaurant. For almost 40 bucks, I still ate it hoping my next day would be ok. The service was a really good pace and the dinner rolls were delicious. The rest of my family didn't have issues the next day, but I had the runs for four hours. That's primarily why I am giving such a low rating. We were visiting from Washington State and decided to try this Texas Roadhouse, expecting the same quality and experience we're used to back home. Unfortunately, this location was a huge disappointment. Unlike the Texas Roadhouse location in Washington, the food here was dry and lacked flavor. The atmosphere was completely out of control, and the music was so loud that we couldn't even have a conversation at our own table. The entire place felt chaotic and disorganized. On top of that, this place gets EXTREMELY busy, and honestly, it's not worth all the hype. We understand restaurants can get crowded, but the overall experience simply did not match the reputation. I had been really looking forward to trying the food here since I had heard such great things about this place, and everything was completely off today but I think it was a one off because from what I've been told, the service and the food are usually pretty well done. However we arrived very hungry and it unfortunately took a long time to get the complimentary bread, it came after some of us received food, the steak wasn't completely cooked the way it was asked and therefore the person who ordered it didn't even eat practically any of it. And then the shirley temple doesn't come with the cherry which in my opinion is the whole reason of what makes the drink a real shirley temple. Despite food taking longer times to arrive, by the time condiments arrived, the food got colder and right when everything was there, we realized we didn't get utensils. After we received our utensils and ate, I didn't enjoy my meal either and it's the first time I have ever not enjoyed a meal enough to not eat it, just because it was very chewy and I then realized that I didn't get water. Honestly I think it was just a combination of practically everything going wrong in that experience that made it a bit pleasant memory and especially because it was still expensive. Typically I strongly dislike leaving negative reviews at all but it did change the entire experience as a whole. First time at Texas Roadhouse and I was immediately impressed by the bread rolls with cinnamon butter. So good!! All the appetizers and main dishes we ordered were delicious. For sides, we had mac and cheese (which was just okay), mashed potatoes, and buttered corn. The mashed potatoes and corn were much better. Our server was very sweet and attentive, and made sure to accommodate our dietary needs, which we appreciated. This place is not worth your time! There were a lot of people in line, so I asked if they took walk-ins and she said yes and added us to the waitlist. 35-40 minutes later, I still didn't get a text, so I walked in and talked to the girl handling the check-ins to ask how much longer we had to wait and she said 10 more minutes. Right after I asked her, I received the bump-up text moving us up to next in line. If I didn't ask, we would still be sitting outside waiting. Meanwhile, all the people who were there with us were already seated, and she also took care of the rest of the new arrival customers immediately, letting them come inside right away. I was just observing and it made me really upset that she gave the tables 1st to the people who came there around the same time as we did and to those who just arrived. Why make us wait for that long if you were going to not give us the table but prioritize new arrivals because they have more of people or for whatever reasons, when you can just tell me you cannot accommodate/serve us and I would understand that and not waste my time! Wasting my time waiting in the cold! I was just going to let it go and drive off after waiting 45 minutes, but I was so angry I had to come back and get out of my car to confront her and ask. She then lied that those people were ahead of us first. We were literally there sitting outside for 45 minutes for me not to see who comes in and out. Everybody who literally just arrived, she immediately took care of them and gave them the table, meanwhile my son and I are still outside waiting. Is she serious? Telling me she knows how to do her job when she definitely does not! Even my son saw the whole thing and wondered the same! I will never come back. Service is very poor! We've been to the other TR location so this one was a alright. We took our friends for the first time since we were staying in a nearby resort. The baby back ribs was not the way I expected , my friend ordered the pork chop and she said it was really dry. I ordered a slush Margarita with Taijin rimmed glass. My order was Country Fried Sirloin w/white gravy. The sides I selected were Spicy rice and buttered corn. While we waited for our ordered we were served a basket of their well known rolls. I hadn't had them in so long I had forgotten how good they were! I asked for another serving of the rolls. I was quite pleased with my dinner. The sirloin was seasoned just right and the fried batter kept its crunch and wasn't greasy. I was too full to have dessert! I can't believe I just typed that! So I have been to four different Texas Roadhouses in several states usually on work trips because someone else wanted to go there and they have all been consistently horrible. I was hoping this one would be different, but unfortunately it was not. We ordered fried pickles to begin with. It was so salty, I was sure it was an accident like the top came off of the salt shaker or something. We had our waiter taste the fried pickles and the face he made was priceless. He was having a hard time swallowing it. Then our entrees came out. I had the country fried chicken and hubby had a New York strip. Both were inedible due to the salt level. It was insane. Someone needs to let the cooks know that salt is not the only seasoning in the world. I basically had bread, corn and a beer for dinner because everything else was a giant salt bomb. We also had the chili and it was standard. The chili and soup was served warm, so we can immediately eat it.
