Solid and polished Thai restaurant in Thai town with a wide variety of traditional dishes. My friend and I shared: - Spicy Curry Catfish: This was good and flavorful. We got it at medium heat which was already pretty spicy. I wish there were more tender and succulent pieces, most of the pieces were cooked well-done. - Crispy Pork: This reminded me of chicharron and it was good, but I wish it wasn't so dry. Would've liked if their meat was succulent and juicy. The dipping sauce was good though, but pretty spicy. We also got these dishes with a medium rice which was a good portion size for 2 people. The interior was clean and nicely decorated. The service was generally good, although a bit understaffed. For parking, there is a paid lot outside, but can be free at times. Overall, a generally good Thai restaurant but nothing mind-blowing that stands out from other Thai restaurants.

One of our favorite Thai spots to eat at when we are in the LA area. Their boat noodles are so authentic and flavorful. Food came out pretty quick and friendly service.

Had the Moo Ping bbq pork skewers and Tom Yum soup and they were both delicious love the acidity in the sauce and soup. Thai tea was also bomb. Reasonable prices. 10/10

Stumbled upon this Thai Food joint today and decided to try some of their dishes. First of, the decor is beautiful and reminded me of Thailand. The service was great, friendly and polite. I ordered 3 dishes; Fried mackerel with chili dipping sauce and veggies, Pork blood soup, and Somtum with sticky rice. The food overall tasted good. I appreciate that they have variety of Thai food on the menu. I think what stand out about this place is that they are selling authentic Thai food but even if you are not super familiar with it, you will still find dishes that you can enjoy. I would definitely go back and try some other dishes.

Boo was our server she was so nice said take your time ordering. Everything we ordered was delicious. The shrimp soup was flavorful but a little too salty for me i just added some water. The pad thai was good my favorite was the crying tiger beef! It was tender and i liked all the greens. We got some minced pork it came with white rice. My friend joyed his thai iced tea. We came early at 10:30am not crowded midweek...i plan to go back and try more items from their menu. Oh their condiments on the table looked pristine soooo clean here.

I like this place! Granted, I've never tried the other Thai places in this plaza, but each time I've dined here I've been satisfied. The service is prompt and friendly enough. We've ordered the sausage, pad see ew, drunken noodles, pad gra pow, and the thai coffee here before. My only gripe is that I think the rice noodles for the drunken noodles was a little soft for my preference, but the flavor was good. The thai coffee was sweet and strong, and the sausages I liked more than I thought I would tbh. Very good! My favorite thing about this place is that when you ask for extra spices, they give you a little bit of everything they have in small togo sauce containers. And I dump everything in my food. And let me tell you, there was one of them, I couldn't tell which, but it was spicy!! And that's how I love my food. The bathrooms are single bathrooms (men and women), the inside is spacious and the workers work hard. Don't forget to visit the Thai snack store next door, too!

Thai Central in Thai Town is so good it's no surprise it's rated so highly. Hands down, they've got the best catfish I've ever had--crispy, flavorful, and just next-level. The service is always attentive and kind, but the food really steals the show. We went all in and tried the beef pad see ew, fried fish, spicy catfish, fried rice, chicken satay, Thai iced tea, and mango sticky rice. Every single dish hit, no misses. Come hungry, because the portions are generous and the flavors are bold. This isn't one of those spots where you leave wishing you'd ordered something else--it's all solid. This has officially become my go-to Thai spot in Hollywood--I'm here 3-5 times a month. It's that good. If you're looking for flavorful, authentic dishes with great service, this is the place. Total must-try.

Came for brunch after hiking in Griffith Park. Very good chive cake and Tom Yom seafood soup. The drunken noodle was too soft and broken up but had good flavor. Loved the large assortment of hot sauces and condiments on the table. Next time will try other places in the plaza (Thai gelato, crispy pork, and a Taiwanese boba shop!)

I really enjoyed coming here for dinner! The interior is modern and comfortable - most of the tables were filled. Staff are very friendly and got us started right away - I loved their pad thai here - it comes with fried egg on top, and the noodles were perfectly cooked and flavorful. I also really enjoyed the drunken noodles with crispy tofu - it was the perfect amount of spice! The curry was delicious as well. It's located in a plaza with several thai restaurants - I'm glad we chose this one!

Holy basil. Way too oily and too much basil.
    Vanessa G.

Ordered takeout from here. This wasn't bad but this also wasn't good enough to revisit. Holy Basil - way too much oil. Like old oil too. There were pieces of chunky basil in every bite. Not really ya girls THANG! Chinese Broccoli w/ beef - Chinese broccoli dish was a little too salty and one note but that's what you should expect if you just order vegetables. My issue is it taste like a very pro-am meal. If this was a free catered meal I'd be happy.

Saw @VicAndJeff go here and the food looked amazing and it is! Delicious crispy fried chive cake, pad Thai, pad woon sen, boat noodles (spicy and made me sweat!), and my favorite dish here...Spicy Lime Fish soup!!! The staff are friendly food is above average for Thai Town! Ambiance is also simple and colorfully lively.

Situated next to the Thai snack market, Thai Central Cuisine caught my eye and seemed worth a visit. The Pad Thai, while flavorful, leaned toward the soggier side, and the green curry was pleasant though not particularly memorable. The standout dish was the crispy pork -- well-seasoned and nicely executed. The setting is casual and modern rather than traditionally styled, offering a comfortable spot for a relaxed meal. Service was courteous but unremarkable. Overall, Thai Central Cuisine delivers a decent dining experience, though it falls short of leaving a lasting impression.

Dashi was VERY good. Generous amount of grated daikon. Assort. Tempura: Saw this being served while waiting. Looked really good and it WAS! Large shiitake mushroom. Fan cut Japanese eggplant, kabocha pumpkin, shrimp tempura & two (2) shiso leaves. All VERY crisp not oily. Warm dashi side had deep umami rich flavor. Probably made the legit kombu & bonita flake method. #1 ordered the Miso carbonara: garlicky carbonara served with their signature house-rolled out udon. Wonderful dish. Portion sizes were adequate. #2 ordered the Uni carbonara: same garlicky carbonara with uni bits strewn about. Estimating one whole uni broken. This actually works for ease of eating. Plus, uni ranges in the $18/oz on the low end to $60 or more/oz on the higher end. Yes we love & appreciate their gonads. Udon noodles were chewy, bouncy & worth the wait. The restaurant is just down the street from the closest metro station. We were greeted immediately and told to wait while they set up the table. When we got to the table, kimchi and water were already set up! The inside is very bright, with modern light wood furniture and bright tile flooring. The ceilings are pretty high and there is a decent amount of seating. Half of the tables were probably taken around this time and there were a few TVs on playing a live FIFA World Cup game which people were watching. I decided to order the 3 of us: 1. Kalguksu, 17, bibim nengmyun, and 25. Beef bulgogi. Everything was out pretty quickly and everything was delicious. The beef bulgogi was good but nothing too special. Sweet and savory with plenty of onions and served on a hot plate. My dad has been to Korea more than a dozen times and says that this bulgogi isn't close to as good as he's had, but that the noodles were very good. He says this bulgogi could be more Smokey, with a grilled flavor. I've probably had better bulgogi around as well so probably wouldn't come just for it, but it was nice to have a dish with rice in addition to the 2 noodle dishes. The kalguksu was my favorite. Very savory and the broth was so good. The other 2 dishes came with little bowls of extra broth as well. Inside the kalguksu was 3 dumplings (yum), some well seasoned ground meat (yum), and very good al dente noodles (yum). The spicy cold noodles were also good. I typically prefer the cold noodles that come in the slushy broth but my boyfriend prefers this spicy one! It had fresh veggies, a slice of Korean pear, an egg, and a lot of delicious sauce that ended up not being too spicy. The red kimchi was more spicy than the noodles! Overall good food and good service, fast and efficient, no nonsense. Would come again for the noodle dishes which were around $18.
