    Matcha

This lovely gem of a place serves up delicious food. Started with the shrimp which had a wonderful coconut flavor. The matcha was a creamy delicious drink on a warm day like today. The spicy glass noodle salad was delicious. It's definitely something different than what I would normally get but it was perfectly light but filling - also big portions!

Thai Fresh had interesting and authentic food, we liked the fried mushrooms but wish there was more. We sat outside under the light when it wasn't too hot, and it was a good vibe. We had kind servers and it was a nice dinner!

I tried Thai Fresh on a recommendation with a few friends! I did not realize how big it would be and how many options! We all got different meals and shared family style so we could try each thing! I tried the drunken noodles "Pad Kee Mao" with beef. It was delicious. I thought it would be a bit more spicy but I am sure you can always add spice if you would like! Even though I enjoyed the dish I would get something different next time as they have so many options! One thing that blew me away was the Coconut Soup "Tom Kha". My friend ordered it and it was definitely a favorite of ours! I highly recommend trying it!!

Came back for dinner and it did not disappoint. Loved all of the different flavors in all the dishes we tried. I think they are still working out the kinks in their service, but bear with them, the food is amazing. APPS Curry Rice Balls - 6/10 sauce was good but balls could use a little more curry, kind of bland Golden tofu - 10/10 great flavor and loved the peanut dipping sauce Coconut fried shrimp - 10/10 delicious batter and dipping sauce ENTREES Pad Thai with Chicken - 10/10 loved the heaviness of the fish sauce in this. Is now in my top pad Thais in Austin Yellow Curry - 9/10 very good, exactly what you'd expect Coconut vermicelli - 10/10 WOW. This dish was so incredibly delicious. Would come back soon just for this. And huge portion While you're here you have to go try their dairy free ice cream for dessert. You can order it at your table or walk over to the cafe and get it. It is coconut based but tastes just like regular ice cream. Trust me, I hate coconut based ice cream and this one conquers all.

The servers here are very nice and our food came out pretty fast! I didn't love the Thai basil spritz - but everything else was great. I will also say that the parking here is almost non-existent so be prepared to potentially park on the street.

This is quaint, casual restaurant tuck away in a quiet neighborhood near south Lamar. Restaurant parking is limited but you can find plenty street parking near by. We tried pad sea ew, pineapple fried rice and Thai basil fresca. Pad sea ew is seasoned just right combined with perfect chew on flat noodle. Pineapple fried rice is sweet and savory, curry flavor is on point not overpowering. Thai basil fresca reminds me virgin mojito, it's refreshing and exotic. Service is good and attentive. Overall, we enjoy this restaurant and would come back. Only have 4 star because it's kinda pricy for casual Thai restaurant.

Thai Fresh was the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. We ordered the chicken and rice and larb, and both were fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we were craving -- light but satisfying. Don't skip the papaya salad combo with the chicken wing. The balance of tangy, spicy, and crispy is spot on and makes for a great add-on to the meal. And of course, the Thai iced tea is a must -- legit, creamy, and refreshing. Simple, well-executed Thai food that always hits the spot. Thai Fresh continues to deliver.

I went to Thai Fresh with my friend, who had just finished with a hair appointment nearby. She suggested meeting at 5:00pm, which worked out well, because it was just in time for Happy Hour. There is a choice of seating: in the dining room for full service or in tbe other room to order at the counter. We chose the latter, making ordering quick and easy. Their Happy Hour menu includes items under "First Bites," or appetizers. I was impressed that a lot of the items were gluten free, perfect for my diet. And they were all reasonably priced. I ordered the Golden Tofu, which consisted of triangles of tofu, dipped in soy sauce, then breaded with golden gluten free flour, turmeric, curry powder, and sea salt. It was served with peanut sauce. It was yummy, and just enough to fill me up before a movie screening. The server was friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant, with customer-created artwork on the walls. I will definitely go back.

Normally, I very much enjoy going to Thai fresh but today was definitely a miss. The portions were extremely small for the price and just to add one vegetable was two extra dollars for such little portion, both meals, including the vegetarian one tasted very meaty as though they cooked it in a pan with beef. I want to give this place another chance, but recently the quality of their food has really been going downhill!

Went to this Thai restaurant as a recommendation from a friend and it was a great place to wrap up my Austin trip. I came on a Monday afternoon so it wasn't super busy but the parking lot was still full. On the bright side, there was street parking near by. The restaurant itself was really nice. Half of it was the sit down meal side while the other half was a cafe. My friends and I got a couple items to share and my favorite items were the pandan latte, jungle noodles, and the sirloin steak salad. Everything was very flavorful and the food came out very quick too. Great place if you're looking for something different in Austin!

The stir fry with rice and chicken is pretty good.

We meet our adult kids occasionally for dinner in Austin and they get to choose a place since they live there. It has to be in south Austin though so we don't have to drive across Austin. This restaurant was a great choice. The food was delicious and the drinks were also pretty good --especially the Tiger Punch. I had stir-fry with chicken and rice and really liked it. My husband and daughter had drunken noodles and said they were really good. My son had a pork sandwich and raved that it was really tasty. We would go back here in a minute. The service was also very good with the workers patiently answering a lot of questions since we had never been here before. It's kind of a small restaurant, but it offers great food. I think they also had a military discount.

Parking & Service: Arrival was stress-free thanks to the massive parking lot in the strip mall. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. We usually prefer a heavy heat, but found that levels 8 and 9 were still relatively mild. If you're a true spice lover, you might want to venture into the double digits! The Food: Portions are very generous and perfect for family-style dining. Everything was flavorful, though my one small note for the kitchen is that some dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. We usually order the fried pompano, and it's always been a favorite. But the last couple of times, the fish has been noticeably smaller--like almost half the size it used to be. That was already a letdown. What really did it for us, though, was finding a plastic to-go cup lid inside one of our drink glasses. It was buried in there, and completely threw us off. At that point, we were just done. It's a bummer because we've liked this place for a long time, but between the smaller portions and that experience, we won't be coming back.

Pad see ew with chicken - I liked their version and would probably get it again. Pad woon sen with pork - typically my favorite noodle dish and I think they did a good job. Garden roll - good but not as packed as others I've had, and at a higher price point. Pineapple fried rice with pork - I liked this but was a bit on the oily side. Tom kha soup - I thought this was very good and had a decent amount of chicken and mushrooms Overall I liked everything but some items I felt I had better versions of elsewhere.
