I found this place a few months ago when i first started to work in cerritos, and it's by far my favorite place for thai food. I always get the chicken sate with peanut sauce. I LOVE THE PEANUT SAUCE. But i don't request it till i pick it up because then it gets thick at the top. i tried the pad thai and the pad see-ew (that's what it sait on the receipt lol). Really like the pad thai, satay chicken and sweet/sour soup. Their orders are generous. The only thing I mind is that their menu doesn't give the ingredients of the meal so for anyone with allergies or anything you can't or aren't eating I would suggest asking. I had to because I don't eat pork and the stuffed chicken was apparently stuffed with pork (tastes funny to me). My friends and I shared their pad thai, drunken noodles, and panang curry. They were delicious but I wouldn't say it's my favorite go-to place for Thai food because I've definitely had better. I try to reserve five stars for places that I would go out of my way to eat at if I have a craving for a particular type of food. Thai Original BBQ in Cerritos comes close to that standard. My family has eaten in the restaurant twice and taken out food a half dozen times including a large order of skewers for a baby shower ( all disappeared early on, I think I saw one of the pregnant women attempting to drink the juices out from the party tray). We have never been disappointed. Pad Thai is a standard classic, nothing to complain about there. The chicken is good but I feel over-hyped. Fried rice is good. My toddler who we struggle with eating meats will eat the spare ribs to the bone. It is a small place so if you want to eat here come early or be prepared to wait. I avoid the place on weekends because it is a mad house. For us, take out is the way to go. But, that means I need to do dishes. I guess you have to pay one way or another... read more

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the area. I've been going here once a week for 10+ years now, and they have kept the quality up. Drunken noodles and their S1 chicken are the best bet. Their drunken noodles is simple but highly addictive. People comment on their service. No, the waiters and waitresses will not get overly friendly with you, but they get the job done efficiently. Most of them have worked there as long as I have been going to this place, and they're all really nice. The only other Thai place I will go to in the area is Panvimarn in Long Beach. They're a little fancier and their dishes more exotic. Try these two places out. read more

I really enjoyed this restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and sat down with no wait. We ordered very quickly and the food came very quickly. Truly great service. The food was amazing. We ordered the pad Thai noodles and the pad tsui noodles. Both tasted amazing. We also ordered the Thai tea with boba which was great as well. this place is hidden in a dark strip mall, but once you find it, you will remember it. you open the doors and discover a busy place and a full waiting area. the food is yummy, so no wonder this place is usually busy. i have tried their pad thai and its one of the best ones i have ever had. their cucumber salad is delish! plus, you can never go wrong with thai ice tea and this place gives you the option to add boba. my friends have tried their meat selections and loved them. the food is consistently good at this place and have never been disappointed with their different noodle plates. the service is average, nothing special...most of the time it seems the waiters are running from table to table filling orders. great thai food at reasonable prices. read more

My boyfriend actually introduced me to this restaurant. He always gets the ribs with rice and side for take out, one order for me, one order for him... and the sauce that comes with it? Rounds out the beef and tastes pretty damn good all together. When we actually came here together to eat inside the restaurant though, I tried their pad thai, and I guess I really didn't know what to expect, but what came was a dark mess of yumminess. And the fact that they were liberal with their basil, made me so damn happy. Well rounded out in flavor, not too heavy, but not light to the point where I couldn't taste anything. I probably could have asked for a little bit more flavoring, but eating light is good as well... and the lightness of the flavoring actually let me taste the slight lemon tangy sweetness of, well, lemon juice that must have been squeezed into the noodles, I guess. The only down part I didn't like about their pad thai was the fact that their noodles stuck together in a clump, because either they slightly overcooked it and it melded together while they were prepping, or the simple fact that they didn't use enough oil to seperate the noodles individually... Overall, the lighting was a tad dim, the decor is a little old, but it is a great family style restaurant with efficient workers that get on your order quickly, for a decent price, as well. read more

All the food is amazing ! I come here often, and man...did I mention the food? YUM! The service is good when it isn't too busy, and the food comes out quick. Prices are decent, but they should consider expanding or getting a bigger place. It's pretty small and crammed, but still good! I only mention that so they could get more business, because the wait time is typically long. I usually get the Sate Dinner (8pc bbq sticks), crispy honey duck, pad thai, and their coconut soup w/chicken...not all in one sitting of course. :) Usually I never really venture outside those choices, but I really need to. Since the place is close to the Cerritos Mall, I sometimes will drop by to get some food to go after shopping. If you call ahead, the food is usually ready when you're there; and since I almost always see other people picking up their food to go when I'm there, I'm guessing I'm not the only one in the club. The quality of food here is one of the reasons that this is my fav Thai food restaurant to frequent! I always order S-2 which is a Spare Ribs meal served with shrimp fried rice. The sauce given with the meal is soo addicting! Ask for a second one because the amt they give is too small, but they do charge 25 cents per extra sauce FYI. The meat literally falls off the bone every time! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because of the cleanliness of the dining room. It looks like it hasn't been dusted in obvious places in a while and a furniture upgrade wouldn't hurt the ambiance either. read more
