Spring Rolls

Finally tried Thai Pho Ewa for dinner last night. We had planned to dine in, but ended up feeling a bit lazy and ordered takeout instead. The young man who answered the phone was clear when taking my order, helpful with my questions, and had everything ready right on time when I arrived. What we tried: - Thai Fried Rice w/Sour Pork - Spring Rolls - Fried Chicken Wings - Green Curry w/Chicken Everything looked great and we enjoyed our meal overall. The only thing we wish we had known was to order the fried rice "spicy." I assumed it would come with Thai chilis and a bit of a kick (as shown in their photo), but the version we received was very mild with no spice at all. Whomp, whomp, whomp..... The green curry did have a nice kick tho, so we ended up pairing the two together. Both appetizers were delicious - just a little sweeter than what we're personally used to. All in all, Thai Pho Ewa delivered a good, easy meal. The takeout service was prompt and friendly, so for now we're giving it 4 stars! Oh and btw, they have Military Discount :)

Decided to stop in here last minute for lunch and ended up having a really great meal. Located in the Laulani Village Shopping Center next to Buffalo Wild Wings, it was easy to find and a perfect spontaneous choice. We were greeted right away and seated immediately, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. We started with drinks--Thai tea and Thai iced coffee, both with boba--and they were spot on. Refreshing, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and the boba was cooked just right with that soft, chewy bite. For appetizers, we tried the summer rolls. They were good and fresh, though not particularly standout. The papaya salad, however, was the star of the start of the meal--bright, crisp, and refreshing with a squeeze of lime and a sauce that wasn't overly salty. Easily one of the best papaya salads I've had. Our mains were the panang curry with sticky rice, which was rich, creamy, and full of flavor without being heavy. Everything hit the spot and left us very satisfied. If you're craving Thai food in the area, this is definitely a solid choice. Great service, flavorful dishes, and a welcoming vibe--we'll absolutely be back.

Panang Curry, Sticky Rice, & Thai Iced Tea

I love finding a solid Thai restaurant! Thai Pho Ewa has become one of my newest fav Thai places. The star of the show for me is their THAI ICED TEA! I'm always hesitant to order Thai iced teas at restaurants bc I never know if it's authentic Thai tea or they just pour it from a can. But this place is hands down the best Thai iced tea I've had - authentic, perfect sweetness while also still getting that tea flavor. Sometimes me and my s/o will go here just to get the Thai iced teas! It doesn't take a lot to please me with panang curry so I loved it. I like that there was a good amount of veggies to chicken. Overall, great food/drink and can't wait to be back Plenty of parking in the shopping center! Service is fast and staff is kind also :)

My first time dining here and I will be back again. My Husbabe and drove to Ewa on a spur of the moment with the baby to have dinner here. It was a weekday, it wasn't crowded as we got there about 7ish. We were greeted and seated immediately (loved that for us, especially with a toddler). My husband has been here before, so he already knew what he wanted. I on the other hand kinda reviewed the menu to see if there was anything I wanted to try before we went. So we were pretty quick to order. I got the oxtail pho and my husband the combo, of course we split our meal with the baby (she enjoyed all the cucumbers on the side). We also ordered fried chix wing. Everything came out fast and delicious. The ladies were all friendly. The restaurant is clean as well as the restrooms. We will definitely be back again!

Whether it's sit down and eat or takeout, this place was great. Order the chicken pad Thai the shrimp fried rice and spring rolls all super delicious with the fried rice having just a little bit of heat...for sure would go back again.

Summer rolls, Thai sticky rice & green chicken curry...portions are good.

We come here when we want Pho soup, basil chicken, & spring rolls & summer rolls & of course Thai iced tea. . Food is prepared fresh & restaurant is clean. Parking is convenient in front of restaurant. Service is prompt & the servers work together in taking care of guests.

We first tried this place a while back & did take out and it was alright. Broth was meh, could use more flavoring so we always skipped out on dining in. My aunty started to go PT upstairs & by the time she's pau we're starving so we bit the bullet and dined in. I highly recommend dining in instead of takeout! Everything tasted great. My favorite was their mango sticky rice. So so good! Workers were nice and attentive. Although the owner could have an attitude adjustment or at least smile at her customers. Restaurant is fairly clean, so is their bathroom.

Fry chicken

Wasn't satisfy with my order, even the service. The cashier looked all irritated. I ordered 2 orders of fried chicken and I opened up my plates so little of fry chicken in the plate. ‍

Went here the other day and ordered their beef pho. This was ok and broth was bit underwhelming. They do have an extensive menu though so I would like to give another chance and try other items o. Menu.

Lunch date with my toddler. High chairs and booster seats available. We loved the food. She went right in with the pad thai. We got the pork Bahn mi and Pad Thai chicken. The side sauce for the Bahn mi was sweet and spicy, not overpowering. Everything was DELICIOUS. Staff was attentive and friendly. I love the casual atmosphere. The restaurant is really nice and big. I wish I took pictures to show the place.

Food is so ONO and with generous amount Kinda hard to miss cause it's far in the corner . Ambience is relaxing and without loud music. Servers are polite and patient. Love the vermicelli

Was looking for a new thai spot for dinner and my friend and I stumbled upon this place in ewa beach. We came around 8pm and were sat down immediately. The restaurant has some neat decor and smooth jazz playing in the background. We ordered 3 items, the pad see ew, a smoothie, & a chicken banh mi. All food came out pretty quick and food was hot and fresh. I had the pad see ew, chicken was tender and the noodles were cooked perfectly. My friend had the chicken banh mi which he described as the perfect amount of toppings, the sandwich also came with a delicious sauce. Overall the experience was great, above exceptional and the service was quick and excellent. We would totally come back again if in the area! Thank you!

It might've been the search for fried chicken to which Minasa didn't disappoint. We arrived just after opening and happened to get the last open table - after ordering, of course. The restaurant is clean and well put together with darker accents. Our food came out relatively quick - having the chef's special and ube churros. The kalbi sauce soaking into the rice was the perfect balance of flavors. Same for the calamansi fried chicken. Lechon, I must say was also a fine example of how seriously the chefs take their selection of ingredients - as I looked closer, it had the classic 5 layers (shown in my photo). Usually, this is the prime factor in the perfect roast pork - providing juicy layers of pork meat. Overall, this has been the best (new) meal we've had in a LONG time. It was so delicious, I could only wish there was a way to share this place with a larger collection of diners because frankly, if you haven't tried this place, I honestly think you're missing out on the definition of culinary art. Each dish carefully crafted with the goal of providing the best experience to all the patrons. I seriously seriously hope you all have a chance to visit. If we're ever back on this side of the island, we won't hesitate to stop by.

They talked it up and hyped it up so my wife and I decided to try it out last October for our anniversary. We showed up and they were closed for an event. Since then we've tried to eat here multiple times with it being booked or not open. It's been elusive. Last weekend was the weekend we finally were able to eat here being in Waipahu and the wait finally ended! We ordered the chef's special, salted egg fried rice, ube churros, and banana lumpia sundae. The dishes were colorful and vibrant. Everything tasted good but we were looking for that twist that was hyped up to us and there was nothing unfamiliar to our taste buds. Though we left full and enjoyed our meal, the "new" flavors didn't stand out. Overall we were quite underwhelmed especially with all the hype that was given to us over their food. Maybe I ordered the wrong things? Not sure but we'll likely give this a second shot when we're in Waipahu again at the right time.

First off I gotta say that more restaurants should do a bowl of seasoned edamame instead of complementary bread. I could not stop eating these, they were addicting. Our waiter was wonderful and the service was great. The food was delicious for the most part save for my wife's ribeye. It was a bit of a miss in my book. It was way over charred, but my wife didn't seem to mind. Our surf and turf cooked sushi rolls were really good. My meal, the bacon jam scallops, was also inventive and delicious. We were warmly greeted by the hostess who wished us a happy anniversary and were given the option to sit indoors or outdoors. We chose indoor and were seated promptly. The restaurant itself was pretty empty and we got a table by the window where we had a nice view of the golf course. Our server Bianca was super nice and gave us recommendations on the menu. We had the Crab Cakes, Crispy Brussel Sprouts, Chinatown Chicken Spring Rolls and the Honey Mustard Charred Beef Short Rib. Portion sizes were good and we were thoroughly surprised by how good the Spring Rolls and Beef Short Ribs were. The spring rolls were hot and crispy on the outside, but was a little different because it had a black bean sauce underneath which was a nice surprise. The beef short ribs were so tender and filling when paired with the mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. At the end of our meal we were presented with a complimentary chocolate soufflé which was a surprise. The soufflé had a nice firm exterior with a nice soft soufflé on the inside and molten chocolate. What a perfect way to end the meal. Amazing service and I look forward to coming back again!
