    Truffle Fries

Delightfully different burger toppings that work very well together. Will definitely be back to try a few more off the menu. Make sure you put a pin drop for Hanger as my map app took me to the back of the building. Glad I found it bc it was delicious and the staff very friendly

Food truck at the domain that has burgers. We got the Argentinian, the French burger, as well as the truffle fries. All were okay and worth a try. There are also other food trucks here.

    Signs of a great burger

We came here as one of several things to celebrate my Birthday. It was in early January but due to my job there is almost no time to celebrate it then as it is our busy time. This was the food truck in the domain area by IPIC and Museum of Illusions. There are several trucks in the same area and picnic tables around them, some in shade, some with full sun. Some had umbrellas so you had several options. I got the American burger and as I am plain and simple just got the sauce, mayo, bacon, and cheese. In case you are curious there was no options for how you want it cooked but they do an amazing job but I know some people may still want that option. The burger was fantastic and the fries are really good as well. SHANA SAYS: My husband and I aren't typically huge food truck people but we wanted to try the highly rated That Burger and WOW was that a good call! I had the French Burger as is, he had the American Burger without most toppings (he left the bacon, mayo, and cheese). We are definitely going back to try more of their offerings. Standouts from the French Burger: pillowy bun, Toppings (brie, arugula, mushrooms, jam, truffle mayo) are a perfect balance of savory and sweet that perfectly compliment the burger. You order on an Ipad. I don't remember there being an opportunity to specify how you want your burger done, but if there is, don't get snooty about it. Just take it as it comes. They know what they're doing! Thank you Shana! As she stated the hamburger buns were also impressive. You don't interact with the staff much but they have a tip jar and options for tips on the Ipad. They deserve it, they take a name on the pad and come out to call your name and deliver the food to your table. They do have some plasticware, if like my wife you need it. This was a really good place and I am glad we managed to get her. We will be back. I know they have other locations and maybe we can hit up one of them.

    The That German Burger

Fantastic hamburger spot! I ordered the German Burger and it was sooooooo good. The pretzel bun was delicious and the burger toppings were so savory. Fries were good but what you'd expect. Service was friendly- they speak fluent English and Spanish. Plenty of parking and pic nic tables for seating. Its a cute little mini food truck area outside domain. One thing to note- this is a food truck run by two guys working hard. People seemed irritated that during the dinner rush (they get busy!) it was 15-30 min to get your order. If that doesn't fit in your schedule Id recommend going during off peak times or ordering ahead.

A busy yummy food truck, please come with patience as they are fairly popular and the wait to get your food can take awhile on a weekend night! We heard great things about this burger food truck and it held up to our expectations of a great burger. I ordered the Argentinian burger with regular fries. The burger has great flavor the chimichurri was a nice add and wasn't overly oily it went well with the burger. My only criticism is that it was a bit too salty overall. The regular fries were okay but could have been a bit more crisper, they are seasoned with spice and maybe seaweed seasoning. A decent amount of picnic tables shared amongst two other food carts for you to dine at if you prefer that over takeout.

That burger is a food truck that sits on domain drive. The service is pretty standard, and the staff took about 10 minutes to make our burgers. We got "That American Burger" and "That French Burger", as well as some truffle fries. The American burger had a delicious original sauce on it, and you could definitely taste the truffle in the truffle fries. However, the real kicker was the French burger. I never would have imagined jam belonging on a burger, but the mixture of sweet and slightly sour jam added depth to the patty and meat juice in a way that caught me off guard. The only reason I knocked a star off is the price. After tax and tip, it came out to around $20 a burger, which is pretty steep. I would still recommend a visit, and if you do come I would definitely suggest getting the French burger.

*This is for the Cedar Park truck at the Good Lot* Was nervous to try this place as they had a LOT of social media influencers post about it...so much so that it definitely seemed they were paying for the good press and it might not be genuine. But I'm happy to report that the food was delicious! We ordered a German, a French, a regular Cheeseburger, and Truffle fries. The fries were very good, a big portion and toppings evenly layered. Even as a non-fry lover I ate every last bite. We were with friends who hadn't gotten their food yet, so sadly couldn't eat right when ours was hot because we were waiting out of politeness. But both burgers were really good! Terrific mixes of flavor on both, and burgers well-seasoned and cooked. I want to come again by myself so I can focus more fully on tasting vs conversation, but they're definitely in the upper echelon of burgers in the Austin area for me. I was nervous about the brie on the French but it didn't have a strong flavor and was more there for creaminess (which I was hoping for!). I'll be back! I will say, we came on Mother's Day with our kids and once we all figured out what we wanted and I went to order, MANY of the items listed were actually unavailable. ALL the hot dogs, the chicken tenders, etc. It made for a sad kid when we had to pivot on the spot to a grilled cheese, so that wasn't great. In future, I wish they would show which items are unavailable BEFORE you get to the order kiosk.

Honestly some of the best (veggie) burgers I ever tried The Brie cheese & jam burger seems like an odd combo but all patties can be swapped with a veggie one and I had to try it. Honestly this combo is a match made in heaven - my bf gets the normal Brie & jam burger and loves it as well. I HIGHLY recommend you give this place a try. Service is always fast and the ambiance is cute. Limited seating in front of the food truck but a definite must try!

I learned something new today. I didn't realize that food trucks existed inside the Domain, but I found three of them. I was hungry for a burger so I tried That Burger. It didn't start off very well because the QR code for ordering takes you to a Chinese Wikipedia page. The POS system was messed up so one of the chefs took my order. The truck advertises fresh Angus beef and let me tell you these hamburgers are awesome. I ordered the Mexican burger, which comes with queso fresco, guacamole, and chipotle, mayo on top of a potato bun. The burger was amazing, cooked perfectly medium rare. It was so tender it was just about falling apart. The other ingredients really enhance this dish. The queso fresco was not melted, but very soft and crumbly. The guacamole was clearly freshly made, and there were a few nice chunks of avocado in the spread. It's all brought together with the mayo nicely spiced and nestled in that potato bun. The fries were also freshly cut and lightly seasoned and crispy without being crunchy. Prices are very reasonable here with a burger and fries for just $15 or $16. You won't find that in too many places in Austin. Super fast service and very friendly. Highly recommended.

I am absolutely in love with this place. Now, this review is about the food truck that is located at The Good Lot, between Jonestown and Cedar Park. There isn't an option to write a review about that specific location, so just an FYI. That said, I can't imagine the service and food are that different between these locations. On to the food. I feel in love with this place when I tried their hot dogs. I am a hot dog lover; if that's on the menu, I am ordering those wieners. To say I was in heaven is an understatement. These dogs melted in my mouth. Everything about them was delicious. From the correct condiment to use on dogs, mustard, to the bun itself. Every bit left me wanting more. I almost ordered a third wiener despite being stuffed. I would allow gluttony to take me over for these wieners. My wife and I have now eaten at this food truck twice, and both instances we felt full, euphoric, and transcended the human species as new beings. Yes, it is that good. Which is wild to say about a place that just servers burgers and dogs. Are you a hot dog lover? Do you hang out on hot dog related forums online? Then this place is for you and you have to check it out. I promise you will not regret it, but your wallet will because you'll want to buy them out of all their wieners.

Absolutely the best burger in Austin, fries are tiptop as well! I've tried almost all the burgers and the French and Argentinian are my standouts. The owner's stories are really interesting and cool, check out their website for details. Whenever I order the owners or workers who are there, are always very friendly and make the experience a good one. They have a few picnic tables with umbrellas they share with another truck. If you're going close to closing time, call ahead and make sure they still have burgers available sometimes they run out early.

As much as I love salt, you know it is bad when I think something is too salty. Burger wasn't bad, it was OK. Not great as the reviews led me to believe. Obviously, I'm in the minority, but my itch has been satisfied.

A cold evening in Austin and we're in town for more mens volleyball. We saw a burger commercial on tv and instantly craved burgers. This place was 4 minutes from our hotel plus near the mall. First off they DO NOT have gluten free buns...for those needing. We ended up just getting a patty and fries for my son. We also got the American and the German burgers with drinks. The burgers were all great! The fries...eh. Crunchy on the outside, too soft on the inside. We got filled up tho and will definitely get the burgers again! The difference in a regular fry vs a large is also huge...Shareable. We had to throw some away. Definitely recommend!

It tasted like there was also some goat mixed in with the beef which wasn't a problem for me, but might be for you. There wasn't a whole lot of it, but it definitely had that tangy, gamy flavor that marks out goat. The sandwich was delicious. As for the chicken, I was hoping by itself it would be more thai inspired/marinated/seasoned but it's effectively just chopped up chicken tenders to be dunked in the curry. The curry is flavorful, albeit a bit watery, which I wish was reduced a bit. But if curry is not your thing, my friend's Kai Zabb was very good: tangy, sweet and heat all at once, so good to really switch up bites. And while I wasn't expecting sticky rice, I can't help but say it's the first time I've had thai fried chicken without it. Cousin's Maine Lobster Truck is a weird experience…read more It was fun to do once. I am probably not going to follow the truck from town to town so I never miss a single chance to get a lobster roll. * * * Cousin's Maine Lobster is a franchise of very very mobile trucks that sell lobster rolls. They also sell other lobster-on-top-of-stuff dishes. Their gimmick which I am not sure is a plus is to have no fixed location. They publish a list of places where the truck will be every week - generally one location for lunch and the other location for dinner. The Central Texas Truck could be anywhere from Georgetown to San Antonio. You can't just go there when you want unless you are willing to drive from Austin to San Antonio or San Antonio to Georgetown to get your lobster roll. * * * One consequence of being eternally mobile is that the truck has no regular or guaranteed access to a bathroom. You go to a brick and mortar restaurant - and the health code will require that that restaurant have a bathroom. Most food courts have some sort of bathroom - either one owned by the food court or one in a gas station or convenience store near the food court. Cousin's has nothing. So you not only have to plan ahead for when the truck is going to be within driving distance of you ... but you also have to plan to have done all of your personal business BEFORE you go to order from the truck. I do NOT consider this to be a positive feature. * * * There is also the issue of WHERE you eat your lobster preparation once you have received it. You could eat in your car. (For Samuel C that means a guaranteed necessary trip to a car wash.) There was almost no place to sit near where Cousins was located my day which was in the Yuppie complex of apartments near Oracle near Riverside. The park near where the truck was stationed has no park benches. I found ONE bench on the street mercifully provided by an apartment complex. Without that one bench I would have been scroodled. * * * I am from New England and have lots of experience with lobster. My personal opinion is that the way to eat lobster is boiled with a vast quantity of melted butter for dipping. The downside of a lobster roll is that the bread hides the taste of the lobster. This makes your investment in expensive raw materials kind of a waste. Mixing lobster with stronger tasting ingredients - which is what Cousin's does on the dump-ons - allows the stronger tasting ingredients to compensate for the diminished lobster experience. This is the way to go with Cousins. I did a Lobster On Tater Tots With Sauce concept and was not displeased. * * * Lobster should be boiled fresh from the fishing boat and eaten right on the spot. (For a related concept, see corn on the cob.) This is why people go to Maine for lobster and why clambakes with the shellfish just obtained an hour before the clambake make good sense. Shipping your lobster from Maine to Texas isn't terrible since the lobster is in water. Taking the lobster out of the shell and making raw ingredients for your lobster roll or lobster taco has started the clock ticking. As it happens ... The lobster gets old and stronger. This actually turns out to be a plus if you are dumping your lobster on tater tots. Eating old strong fish is an institution in Korean cooking. They like mackerel and other potent fish that pack a pow ... And aging the fish provides a taste Koreans really like. With lobster, aging gives you an ingredient that can stand up to being mixed with other ingredients. * * * This is all well and good. But it is not fresh lobster straight off the boat boiled and served in its natural goodness with only melted butter for a garnish. Some regional foods just don't travel.

I am frustrated. I called two times wirh no answer or return call. I sent 3 (now) messages. I had…read morequestions before I drove 25 miles to your food truck.
