Saw an Instagram pic of the Ultimate Bloody Mary and called some of my ladies together to get that for brunch. We were there on a Sunday around 11am and the place was half full both inside and on the patio. I didn't really look at the menu since I had one purpose that day: Ultimate Bloody Mary. It was huge and topped with: Pretzel stick, buffalo chicken slider, lunch meat slider, waffle, shrimp, pepperoni and peppers, glazed donut, figs and strawberries plus the traditional olives (ick) and celery. This first time i came was for a Sunday brunch for my God father's birthday and it was amazing so i decided to bring my partner for Father's Day. The place is beautiful, atmosphere great. Food selection was that of a cafeteria, very minimal, unlike the Sunday brunch i attended. So i was very surprised with the food selection. Serving chili cheese wedge fries at a brunch people pay $55/person is kind of wild to me. Wings with no sauce. Not all the food was bad BUT for the amount i spent i was still hungry when i left. No desire to go back for seconds. The service was mid. I had to keep asking another server in the section for things, even walking up to the bar to order drinks. We checked out decided to hang out on the patio which is beautiful, went to the bar and order more drinks and the bartenders were not pleasant. I spent over $250 for this Father's Day brunch and i would give my overall experience 4/10. read more

I came here for lunch the other day and was seated right away; it wasn't very busy. I got a salad, which was great! But the serving size was pretty small and I was still so hungry afterwards. The service was also pretty slow. I'd definitely come back though! And I really want to check out the rooftop bar! read more

Service was great, was there with a coworker and a customer, we all had the prime rib, ordered medium rare, came out medium well. Server agreed it was over cooked, chef hit us new pieces and brought them out personally, new pieces were on point. They took care of it and were courteous and gracious about it. The location is close to the Cleveland Airport, which makes complete sense, considering the general theme of the restaurant. The restaurant has a parking lot right in front of the establishment. The overall feel of the restaurant is pretty positive. It does have a bit of the airport lounge feel. To get to the restaurant area, there are a couple of rooms that one will have to traverse once you enter the building. All of them fit the overall theme of the restaurant; nothing stood out as confusing or dysfunctional in comparison to the theme. I went to the restaurant on a Thursday, and the place felt a bit empty. I'm guessing it's probably because of the day, and perhaps because there was a bit of a storm on the way. Most of the patrons were seated in the front room of the restaurant. I highly recommend sitting close to the window, so you can see the planes come in as you're eating. There is also outdoor seating, which may be a good option when not raining or blazing hot. The food was pretty great, I highly recommend the braised porkbelly with rice cake. No regrets - worth the calories. Some of my party chose the fish and chips and just as a side note, the fish is walleye and the skin is still kept on the fried fish of that dish. It may add to the flavor a bit, so just know that it won't taste like just the standard fish & chips. I think whether that is a good or bad thing depends on the individual. Overall, I would come back to check this spot out, especially midweek to avoid the crowds. read more

We went to The Aviator to celebrate a Birthday. The experience would have been better if the restaurant's room temperature was warmer. It was very cold inside which prevented an enjoyable experience. Booked a dinner party for 25 guests here in a private dining room. Very organized large party reservation process. Arrived a bit early and our guests staggered in over 30 minutes or so, which the restaurant handled patiently and perfectly. The space was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Wide array of food options were ordered, and everyone in our party loved it. Never felt rushed, rather welcomed to stay as long as we liked, and even after the check was paid they continued to check in on those of us that hung out to chat. Absolutely recommend! read more

It is hard to review totally because the rooftop was depressingly closed due to incoming rain. We did make it in time for their brunch. Which we had the Blueberry Lemon Mascarpone Pancakes and the CLE Chicken & Biscuits. We drank the concord cosmopolitan and the paper plane. Everything was good. Pancakes were a great balance of sweet and sour and the portions of everything were great for the price. So close to the airport I can easily see this become our new pre-vacation spot. read more

For the price you pay (in advance by the way...) for brunch, the buffet options are limited and extremely disappointing. Powdered eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, waffles and a selection of fruit. That's it! A small dessert station with cookies and a few pastries. I couldn't believe we paid over $100 for a family of four for this brunch. This evening had dinner at Aviators with my lovely wife. We started with the charcuterie board and Basil Haden Dark Rye Manhattan which was very good. For dinner she had the fried Brussels sprouts salad with salmon which was cook to perfection with a light vinaigrette dressing. I had the seared scallops with risotto which was very creamy and delicious. I had a Boen Chardonnay which enhance the flavors of the scallops. The ambiance was excellent the view of the flight line was excellent to watch the landing and take off of the airplanes from the airport. Ordered the Beer Cheese soup. Very small potion was disappointing. Presentation was great with a medium-small sized soft pretzel for dipping however the pretzel was disgusting tasting !!!! I tried to eat it but just couldn't because it tasted so bad. Was seated at bar and observed 2 servers waiting at bar for customer drink orders. One of them (had a Europeon accent) stuck his hand in a jar on the bar with what I believe were dried apple slices (drink garnish of some sort). I have been there for the first time last weekend as part of a large wedding reception. Let's start with the good things: Everything was decorated well, we had part of the outside patio for our party of about 200 people as well, which was wonderful, especially for those guests who wanted to avoid the loud music. All servers seemed nice, and the food left a good impression. We had a mixed salad, chicken and beef on roasted potatoes and mac 'n cheese. I had no complaints until later, when I found out that one of our friends had slipped and fell on greasy floor near the entrance door to the flight room. I had noticed slippery floor as well when we came in many hours earlier, but I thought it was my shoes, well apparently it was not. She had to go to urgent care and was diagnosed with whip lash. I turned out to be very sick the next morning. There is no way to blame anything but the food, as I did not drink any alcohol but only water and a few sips of my husband's diet Cola. Thinking back of the beef I have this weird feeling, therefore I blame the beef, although it was tender and tasted good. I have not had the opportunity yet to talk to any of the other guests or if I am the only one who got sick. read more

The price point is still a bit much for me given the quality of the food and the serving sizes you get. It's just meh both times I've been as far as food since the new ownership. Our server was a bit overwhelmed with the party size and did not check in as expected. The food was over cooked and lacked flavor. Three of us ordered the French dip that overcooked, dry and lacked flavor. Initially a young woman who stated she was the manger stated only one sandwich could be taken off, although three were ordered and all were terrible. We did not receive any option to have another recooked. But was offered dessert, which we declined,The igloo was never lit until our service was over. The gentleman who came in to light the igloo (Shane$ was very friendly and took the time to ask how our dining experience went. We told him what had transpired and he offered to remove all the sandwiches. I have been here several times and never had an issue with the service or food. Unsure where the miss was this time. We came here as part of a group for brunch and it was a cute enough place. The service was a little slow but not awful for a group of around 12 people. Unfortunately the burger which sounded so good on the menu, was severely undercooked. PLEASE BRING BACK THE RICE & CORN SHORT RIB. Have had short rib from almost every place one can order short rib in Cleveland, and this place has, hands down the best short rib. The rice and corn short rib is levels above anything in the city. But the agrodolce is too sweet for this plate. The short rib Carrie's the sauce until the end and you're just forcing it down. And removing a vegetable leaves the plate lacking. The short rib is too good to ruin it with sauce and lack of complimentary sides. If it ain't broke, don't fix it! read more
