Super cute dog friendly spot in ktown! They have a patio area where your furry friend can join you for lunch/dinner. The server was even kind enough to bring out water bowls for both of our dogs. We ordered the rosé seafood pasta and corn soup to share and both were delicious! I will be thinking about this corn soup for a while. It wasn't too creamy nor too watery as corn soup can be sometimes which was a huge win in my book. The seafood pasta was cooked perfectly (both pasta and the seafood). Will definitely be returning the next time we're in the area with pups.

Met up with six friends at The Barn Cafe for a weekend brunch. The breakfast menu isn't huge, but they've got all the essentials--and everything we tried was delicious. We ordered a few dishes to share so we could sample a bit of everything: croquettes, the house salad, a couple of omelets, and the French toast. Every plate was really tasty! The coffee was great too--I was very happy with my latte. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and the outdoor seating and decor made the whole vibe even better. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed and satisfying brunch!

Had my engagement dinner here with a party of 19, which I was glad that they were very accommodating despite some minor hiccups. There is no designated parking other than a few spots at the front, so hopefully there is street parking closeby. We arrived a few minutes late, but were not seated until another 15 minutes after. To be fair the table needed to be set up and had to decide where we were sitting. We had a single long table in the outdoors area that was still in an enclosed space with AC. Ordering food and drinks was definitely an ordeal with how big our group was, and getting all the tableware took some time. They had our orders mostly down, but did take very long on my one order and I ended up starting to eat when everyone else was done, and that was my biggest issue. But other than that, they had all the other parts covered, and it was by and large a positive experience. They allowed for us to bring in an outside engagement cake for the occasion and were able to provide extra plates and silverware for that too. I had the seafood pasta which was creamy with tomato and various seafood including shrimp and squid and mussels, and came with garlic bread on the side. The sauce had a lot of good flavor and it was piping hot, very enjoyable. My fiance had the mentaiko pasta which was creamy and also came with shrimp and a garlic bread. Any party larger than 6 a service fee is automatically included, which is fine, I definitely appreciated the service here!

Went here at night on a weekday with a friend! The pasta was pretty good but the salad was okayyy. I liked the tofu but I think the dressing wasn't the best for me. The time I went, we were informed that drinks weren't available so I thought it meant like alcohol but it was actually all the drinks like smoothies too (except tea) which I was a bit disappointed about. The main issue for me was that I got a TON of mosquito bites here :( It was really unfortunate because the place atmosphere was still cozy and warm but just had those downsides when I went

Friday late lunch with my best friend. It has been a year since last came by here. We decided somewhere close and not too crowded. Walked in and it was quiet not much people yet -1pm. It's new management so some menu has been changed. But I always like the atmosphere here. Prices of food is reasonable and it' was good. Except for one Cream crab croquette. It's too creamy and cannot taste the crab though I'm not crazy about crab only my friend. I had to try it and it's too rich. Other than that we ordered a good food. The servers are nice. Please support this restaurant and try it.

One of the best dating spots in ktown. The vibe is incredible sitting outside and the inside has amazing decorations. The food is mix of Korean and American, their ribs is insanely good. Loved every bit. Definitely a good place to date!

The Barn has quickly become one of my favorite spots in K-Town. The interior design is adorable, making it perfect for both brunch and dinner outings. The service is kind and friendly without being overbearing, which I really appreciate. My go-tos are the Rose Ddukboki, Corn Cheese, Gulf Shrimp and, Mandarin Salad, and Fried Chicken--each dish is always a hit. I've come here for date nights, family gatherings, outings with friends, and even work dinners. No matter the occasion, it's a great place to go. There's valet parking available, and street parking is an option too. Overall, I definitely recommend The Barn!

What a great find! The staff welcomed my dog and I to their back patio. Their patio is a cute layout and feels comfortable. I ordered the gambas which was delicious. The potato shrimp was just crispy potatoes wrapped around prawns, they were ok. The corn cheese is probably the best corn cheese I've had. There were a bunch of other things on the menu that I wanted to try. Wish they had photos on their menu. Will def return.

I don't hang out often in Koreatown, but so glad my friend brought me here for brunch. Street meter parking is available (accepts card payment) and there is also valet parking offered. When I first walked inside it reminded me of a cute Korean cafe with cute decor and very much resembles a barnyard. There is an outdoor seating area as well as indoors. I would say plentiful amount of seats. The menu is huge and you can find anything from breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes as well as tons of drinks and alcohol. Everything looked so good so it won't be my last time coming. Everything came out piping hot and fresh! We ordered: The Barn Omelette - 5/5 (Served from 8am-3pm) Comes with a free coffee as well. This omelette is served with a side of salad, toast and fried potatoes. All great pairings and a really simple but tasty omelette :) Rose Ddukboki - 5/5 My first time trying this and OMG soooo good! It definitely has a kick of spicy to it, but in a mild way. The sauce was really good too, i can't really describe it. The dish itself was pretty big being that it was a lunch portion. Overall it was really good and we had leftovers to take home. A definite gem that will be added to my "must visit again" list. Enjoy!

my girlfriends and I went to Anju House next door few months ago and wanted to try The Barn Cafe. I was surprised by how pretty it is inside. The pictures on Yelp looked like a coffee shop but it's a nice drinking place with great ambiance. It has a huge menu which we definitely didn't take advantage of. We had roasted chicken (good), kimchi pancake (it was very sour), chicken gizzard (good) and lots of beer and soju. I wish we tried more food items... Service is awesome, they gave us free drinks since we stayed for 5 hours. We will definitely be back. They have dedicated valet parking attendant out front. We really enjoyed our time here! Go check it out!!

The food was tasty and made fresh! I give a 3/5 stars because of the service. Service was not tentative and they had many workers. We noticed many of the workers talking and standing off to the side and didn't fill up our waters when we were sat outside under a hot shaded area. The restaurant is very cute & the outdoor patio is beautiful with lots of plants (not pictured) - I would go again, perhaps we went on a off day, but the food was good for the most part!

Mt first time here and it turned out to be a great lunch spot. Indoor/outdoor space. Nice portions of food and excellent service. My drink was my favorite. Grain smoothie. It doesn't translate well to English but trust me you have to try it! It's traditionally a very Korean drink but as a smoothie it was super refreshing and not too sweet.

    Xmas time

came here for Christmas night dinner. Surprising was open. Planning of street parking at the time. Not sure about regular nights. Would assume it would be difficult at those times. Inside has a cozy half outdoor feel with Christmas lighting may be even lighting on regular nights on the ceiling. chill vibes inside. Had tried the creamy seafood which was excellent. Both flavor and pasta . Extremely flavorful creamy but not over powering. Bread was also quite nice, it had some galbi flavor where goes well, maybe not intentionally. tteokobokki also had good flavor and mild kick. Definitely better quality then your general quick places. kimchi pancake was also done night, crispy. Also not pictured, but I also tried the whole fried chicken. highly recommend. juciy and crispy outside with their sweet/tangy sauce on side or just saly and pepper. there combos are probably the way to go depending on how many people. comes with soju or beer. fast and friendly service. would come back again! come try

Ask the Community - The Barn Cafe & Restaurant

    Do you take reservations?

Yes, we are happy to take reservations! This can be helpful if you're coming with a larger group or have a specific time in mind.

Can I bring my own alcohol in, just 1-2 bottle?

Hello :), Of ofcourse you can! there will be a $20 corkage fee

    Is misutgaru smoothie still sold?

    yes! :)

I'm confused by the outdoor photos. Does this place have a more modern looking front but look like country barn with wood structure and plants outside. It looks like 2 different places but maybe they really customized a barn-like outdoor area?

Yep you're right! The interior decoration is themed as a barn, with the outdoor decor more modern

Does this establishment allow you to stay for long periods of time or is it more of a restaurant who just wants to turn over tables ?…

You can stay as long as you want. The cafe is meant to be a meeting place where you talk and hang out.

Can u study here for extended periods of time like at yellow house (outlets n wifi)?

There is free wifi. You can study but the best times are in the morning and during lunch cause during dinner it gets a little loud.

Do they have a parking lot, or is it valet parking? How much for valet?

Street park or valet. However, it is extremely hard to find street park since both yellow house and cafe barn valet parks on the street as well.
