We have been wanting to try The Biscuit House out for a while and finally did! Sunday at 11:00 we got right in! As we walked in I noticed how cute it's decorated, farm style! Pretty clean in side, we were seated and order was taken pretty quickly, it did take a little while before we got our food and my sons " burger" was made with cheese even though he asked and double checked that she got just a burger no cheese! Well his came out with cheese " cook didn't look at the no cheese on ticket!" He had to wait for his to get remade but she was so kind about it! 3 of us ordered the Hangover Burger over medium egg and fries Then a chorizo hash. The burgers were huge and cooked perfectly! Everyone was happy with what they picked!

I'm on the fence here because while some things were great others were just meh. Parking lot is pretty unassuming, shared with Sam's Club. The building itself looks pretty old and could do with a little fixer upping. Once inside decor was okay, think homey country kitchen. We were greeted pretty quick and sat at a booth with menus to look over. Our drink order was taken while we did so. Two of us decided on the one biscuit meal. One with bacon one with a sausage patty and hash browns. The other a country fried steak. Added some coffee and waters. Our server was friendly and our food was out fairly quick., the food came out looking pretty boring, but the gravy had great flavor. Biscuits can make or break a meal and for me while one of my biscuits was soft and tasty with the gravy the other half was hard as a rock.,Hash browns and eggs were cooked exactly how I asked. Would I come back proverbs not, but was it awful no. There are just so many more options around with a bit more presentation and choices. Solid 3.8, but with service give it a 4.

The biscuit can ruin a biscuit and gravy breakfast even if the gravy is excellent. The Biscuit House gets it right on both accounts. My wife and I stopped in shortly after opening on a Wednesday. The restaurant was empty except for the staff. Needless to say, we got top-notch service. I ordered the Biscuit House Special. This is one biscuit smothered in sausage gravy, with 2 eggs any way I chose scrambled, your choice of sausage ,bacon, or ham, I chose sausage, and country potatoes or hashbrowns I chose the country potatoes. The order was out quickly. The biscuit was light and flaky, and the gravy was thick and tasty, loaded with chunks of sausage. The eggs were cooked perfectly. It's hard to get scrambled eggs wrong. The country potatoes were soft and tender, fried with onions and green peppers. They were hiding under 2 large sausage patties. The sausage was seasoned perfectly, not too salty, as some tend to be. I left this restaurant completely satisfied and thankful I decided to give The Biscuit House a try. They will forever live on my Best Breakfast list.

We came midday on a Monday and they weren't very busy so we were greeted and seated immediately, which was nice. The service was friendly and efficient throughout our dining experience and our waitress kept our drinks refilled. The food came to us as ordered and the restaurant itself was clean and comfortable. Those are all good things. Sadly, the food was just okay, which is why this is a three star review. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything special.

We gave this place a shot for the first time today. I will say it was not terrible. It was Saturday morning around 11 and it wasn't too busy, service was a little slower than I would've expected but it was fine. I ordered a vegetarian omelette with sausage added, I did not know the sausage would be an extra 3.50. I had a side of grits and sourdough toast. My food was not terrible. It wasn't anything I would go back for, but it was not terrible like some of the other reviews that I read. I have to say that I was really shocked when I asked if I could have a side of salsa to put on my omelette, and I was told that it would be. 3.50! That was outrageous to me. If that was probably my biggest complaints of the entire visit. My boyfriend had Stellas scramble, and he said that it was OK. Nothing remarkable, but it was OK. He ate it. He also agreed that it's probably not anything that we will go back four. I will say the ambience was wonderful, it's a very cute little place and the people who work there are very pleasant. Our server was Michelle, and I think she checked on us twice while we were there. Which is OK to me because I don't like a server nagging me. But when I did ask her for salsa, she quickly barked at me that it was 3.50. I almost felt like she might've been put out if she had to go get me salsa. It was kind of weird. But other than that everything else was just fine.

After driving by this place many times, my husband and I finally decided to stop in and give it a try. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated right away and got to work on reviewing the menu. I started with orange juice to drink. After reviewing the menu, I decided on two eggs cooked over medium, 2 sausage links, hashbrowns, and, of course, a biscuit. A short time after ordering our food came out. My eggs were cooked perfectly, the sausage links were tasty, and the hashbrowns were hot and crispy. I only had half of the flaky biscuit due to my being gluten sensitive, I didn't want to overdo it, but what I tasted of it it was buttery and flaky. The country decor of the place made it feel homey, and the food matched the friendly service and ambiance. Unfortunately, we are moving out of the area, or I'd say we would be back, but I am sure glad we tried the biscuit house before we moved. Well done!

I went here for brunch on a Sunday. They were busy, which was fine. I ordered a cinnamon roll and it was stale, not to mention cold. I asked them to take it back and got a buttermilk pancake instead. It was good, and enough food. Service was eh. She was nice enough but nothing special. Didn't take off the food they took back and still added the 20 percent gratuity. I wasn't impressed, nothing I would go back to. My family did enjoy the food they ordered this time and other times, to be fair. read more

First time there. We were tired from moving and decided to get food. The biscuits and gravy, and omelette were good, as was the pot of coffee left at the table. They'll never know how much that was needed. The portions are good sized. I love that they give discounts to the military. I would have given 5 stars but some open sign kept falling down outside, and then the door wouldn't shut. Several workers just walked by and didn't seem to notice or care. The glare from the sun was a bit irritating with the door open or I wouldn't even have mentioned it. read more

This place was good. I ordered the champion pancakes which had oats, almonds, and blueberries in them. My fiancé ordered a biscuit meal and he said the biscuit was just okay. You would think with a name like biscuit that it would be great. The layout of the restaurant is a little weird and the booth is a little far from the table. Other than that its an okay place to visit. We opted to skip Postino and try this place but I think I would go to Postino over this place any day. read more

Great biscuits!! Gravy was a little bland, but the biscuits are worth the trip. Also tried the house omelet with chorizo. The chorizo was pretty mild, without the distinctive flavor you look for. Hash browns were crispy without being greasy. Good value. Overall I was satisfied with the food, and the service was excellent! read more

So went here for the first time ever and first thing the service was amazing she was very nice and just all around great. The food now that was amazing bacon let me tell you out of this world good biscuits are awesome should've gotten two. Absolutely LOVE the chicken fried steak and the biscuits and gravy are fabulous. My son doesn't like breakfast so he got the pulled pork sandwich and fries. He thought it was really good. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The service is also very pleasant. read more

Saw this place on yelp so we decided to try it out. Very glad we did. Our server was very nice and food came out fast. Hubby ordered the steak and eggs and he said the steak was very tender and not dry or tough like most places. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and was very pleased. Biscuits were perfect as you would hope considering the name of the place. We ordered eggs over medium and they were perfect. Overall great little breakfast place! read more

Not a fan of the country farm house decor. Reminds me too much of The Good Egg, and if you're a new restaurant....decorate different. Service was great. I had the breakfast quesadilla which I had never seen on any breakfast menu before. Pleasantly surprised, it was great! Friend had biscuits and gravy, and daughter had the mickey mouse pancake which is much bigger than IHOP's which usually leaves her still hungry. Will definitely go back. read more

This place looks, smells, and is the environment of my grandparent's house in MS. The biscuits are legendary , and though I'm not a white gravy fan, This gravy was pretty good. Unfortunately, I have not tried the food at Biscuits due to the website having the incorrect hours listed. I got a recommendation from a friend and was really looking forward to trying the home cooking. I called in for a pick up order on Saturday at 2:15 and was informed that the restaurant was closed. The hours on the menu and elsewhere list that the restaurant is open until 3pm on Saturday and Sunday. Please correct this. read more

The "Biscuits Special" is my dish of choice when we eat here. Don't tell my mom, but their biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had. The French toast and pancakes are also good. My wife is a fan of the eggs Benedict. They offer a few unique breakfast dishes which include: SOS and fried spam and eggs. I would say Biscuits narrowly beats out The Good Egg as our favorite local breakfast stop. read more

I've been to Biscuits several times and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I had breakfast here yesterday morning with my kids. The corn beef hash was amazing. It came with two eggs on top along with a side item - I chose the southern style grits and also got a side of hash browns. It also came with a homemade biscuit. Everything was delicious! My son got the chorizo scramble plate which he said was amazing. I definitely recommend Biscuits for breakfast! read more

Super disappointed with the food, the service, and the place in general. Not too bad of a wait and it was busy, so that seemed like a good sign. I went to the bathroom and the stall floor was covered with toilet paper and did not look clean at all. We ordered our food and it came pretty quickly, but we never saw our waiter again. I needed an extra plate to share my food with my toddler but ended up having to use a napkin. The food was fine, but was cold when it came out. Then my toddler threw up from eating too quickly. I understand that we needed to leave due to health codes, but we weren't done eating and the hostess rolled her eyes at us when we told her we needed more napkins and when the manager came out, she was not friendly at all and said "we need him out." They didn't offer to give us boxes for our food or anything. I was so shocked and was trying to get him out quickly, so we paid and left, but It was stunned that they were so rude to us! I will not go there again. read more

One of the best breakfast in town!! I am usually reluctant to order eggs any style other than scrambled because its never cooked right...for some reason I decided to change it up and ordered over medium and im glad i did! They were perfect! The biscuits were light and fluffy aas were the pancakes...everyone loved and shared their meal. Good homestyle cooking! They dont skimp out on the portions. First review! I think this place is destined for good things... To start: the service was swift and friendly and I was sat almost immediately on arrival. The place was 1/4 full so I can imagine service would be quick. My server was nice and another server helped (which I like because team work means I get fed fast!) The restaurant was clean and aesthetically pleasing. I chose the more traditional biscuits and gravy breakfast in light of the restaurant name. The food was above average, everything was hot, seemingly freshly prepared, and exact to my order. Small things like having a different hot sauce(other than Tabasco) and whipped butter for my "champion" pancake(delicious btw) made the experience above par. All in all I recommend. I would give it 4.5 stars if that was an option. .5 off was because the price was a bit on the high side ( I ordered a single champion pancake a la carte, it was 6.89... that's a bit rediculous) good job biscuits! read more

As good as it gets for breakfast! Tried for the first time this morning, and we were very impressed. I had Chicken fried steak, and friend had the biscuits, and both were great. Prices are very fair and reasonable, and the staff was friendly. The biscuits look and taste home made (not sure if they are, and didn't ask) and the gravy was creamy, with large chunks of sausage in it. Just like grandma used to make. Cant wait to go there Friday for their fish fry, heard that was excellent too! read more

Stopped in for breakfast because our regular breakfast spot was closed. The food was good, the waitress was really friendly and the restaurant was clean & quiet. It was nice to have have free local newspapers to read by the front door and there was plenty of easily accessible parking. read more

Was looking around on Yelp for a good breakfast place. And this popped up, and it's nearby my house. So I decided to give it a shot. Boy am I glad. @-@ I had the biscuit special. The biscuit was light and fluffy, even the bacon was cooked properly!!! THE BACON!!!! That was the icing on the cake for this place. If you want to try something new for breakfast, and to exceed your expectations, this is the place to go. read more

They weren't being loud or disruptive, but a nearby a couple clearly seemed upset. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. The couple chose to ignore us and left shortly after. The manager then came out and reassured us that Lucky Lou's is a family-friendly restaurant and that our kids were absolutely fine. That meant a lot to us and really showed how supportive and understanding the staff is. I also hope one day that couple realizes how hard it is to keep a 4-, 6-, and 8-year-old sitting at a table for more than 30 minutes without shoving an iPad in front of them. On top of that, the service was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and I honestly had the best burger and tater tots of my life. We'll definitely be back--thank you for creating such a kid-friendly and enjoyable place for families!

We did not have a reservation and the only open seating was at the bar or high tops in the bar area. We were quickly greeted and our server was incredibly on top of it! I noticed that the main menu had a line at the bottom that stated a gluten-free menu would be available upon request. I did ask to see this menu as gluten-free is my dietary preference, not an allergyand I was brought a complementary gluten-free bun instead of the pretzel bread. I thanked our server and told him not to worry that it was just a preference and he told me that he treats all gluten friendly requests as an allergy. I really appreciated the care and concern he had for my health and well-being. This is unprecedented at most restaurants. They had a very extensive gluten-free menu and I can't wait to go back and try so many more items. We did try the Leonard burger and made quite a few modification requests - all of which were 100% accommodated. This burger was so incredibly juicy! My entire hand was dripping by the time I got done eating it. Everything else we tried was delicious. I have no complaints or suggestions for improvement and will definitely be returning soon!

That question turned into Carl proudly explaining the process from preparation, to smoking to plate and everything in-between. His enthuasism, artisanal detail, and forthrightness to answer our questions were extremely valued and appreciated. Carl went way beyond our expectations and set the tone for the rest of our meal. After conversing with Carl he walked us to the counter, introduced us to the staff making the plates and explaned the ordering process to us. We met Mason when we were checking out. His over the top customer service and genuine care for our satisfaction were greatly appreciated. Stopped by for brunch with my niece and nephew as they are out for school today. Have never eaten here but have lived in the area for three years. The restaurant hardly ever looks like it's open. But it is; everybody was nice when they greeted us. Unfortunately the service that we received was subpar. We were never offered water Or additional drinks after our coffee or even the check on this to see if we were OK with our order. About the items served. Having some food handling experience. I was able to determine the items as the server auctioned them off. Most of the food looked palatable and eye pleasing. I love biscuits and gravy and honestly lived on it while traveling through the this great country of ours. And I make a mean platter of biscuits and gravy that any meat lover would crave. And I make a Vegan biscuit platter that would make a Veg go ape for it. This being said the gravy had to be the worst tasting substance I have ever tried in a food establishment. It seemed very desired to be something but just couldn't decide what to be. In short it tasted like a over peppered can of mushroom soup with some dry ingredients still in it. The biscuits incidentally the restaurants called biscuit. So you would hope that the biscuits would stand up to something better than you can get at a McDonald's(I don't even eat at McDonald's, and hate comparing a restaurant to them when McDonald's is so much better than them.) I had to try this dish as it is my all time favorite. I can still taste the pepper today Wednesday, and I have it on Monday morning. My sisters main dish lacked any seasoning whatsoever. There would've been more flavor if I had licked the A clean paper towel. And to my dish, we had ordered a vegan burger. The waiter/server did not know what a vegan or vegetarian is. And when we explained it to him he said oh a hamburger. And then we corrected him gently and said no it's no meat. Then we explained to hold any condiments as we could not clearly explain for no dairy. Our over done cardboard burger was served on a bun that I'm pretty sure was topped off with butter. A beautiful slice of tomato, onion and lettuce. And a healthy size of a side of fries. And to our surprise the fries were outstanding, perfectly seasoned snapped open when broken. You can tell they did not sit under a hot lamp for that long. The only beverage we had was coffee, which I honestly don't have words to describe how bad it was. And I've had bad coffee and lots of it. I am pretty sure that the coffee would work good as an industrial cleaner. It does Appear that our server was afraid of my service dog. While Ash is a big dog. He's a gentle giant. But if you're serving a table that has an animal and you're afraid of it. Change tables with someone it's not so that the customer and the table service does not suffer. At the least let us know, let the manager know. No one ever stop by to see how our meal was, including the server. I regret my time at this establishment. The decor and theme seemed tired but homey. The ambiance was chaotic. The music was overbearing, and the sheet metal Decor made the sound reverberate unnecessarily. I did enjoy the fries and what made the best was the company. read more

We were in the area today and decided to stop for breakfast. I have to say we were disappointed. We were seated promptly, however it took a good 10 minutes for the server to come take our drink order. I ordered the Chicken Fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns and a biscuit. I asked for a side of their famous gravy to go with my biscuit. The food came pretty quickly, but I have to say that I was not impressed. I grew up in the South so biscuits and gravy is kind of my thing. The gravy was kind of bland and tasted like it was a doctored mix. There is no way the biscuit is homemade, had to come out of a Pillsbury can. The most shocking thing was the expense. I had my breakfast, my wife ordered just an order of toast because she had eaten earlier, we both had coffee and she ordered a small OJ. The bill came to almost $22!! I could have justified this if we had both had full meals, but it was not worth the price. Have to say that I don't think we will be back. read more

Chased out the door like thieves!! I, of ALL people understand COVID-19 restrictions and precautions and have done my part to support local businesses during this trying time BUT, oh my gosh what could go wrong, DID! Our first and last visit here was just horrible! The owner tried to fix it, but it just spiraled right out of control. Our waitress was rude (no biggie) she NEVER asked us how we were doing or explained the 65 minute delay in our food arriving.. then blamed it on the kitchen, the crowds.. anything but an apology, who knows. Just own it, stuff happens.. but nope. On our way out the door, we were literally chased down by staff in front of a large group of people to pay our meal!! The owner had comp'd it!! My gosh. Sorry!! Get it together. The food is not bad.. average I guess. Not going back. My advice? Wait until the owner gets her staff whipped into shape!! Or just go somewhere else read more

I'm not a DOCTOR, but I'm more than qualified to diagnose a bad case of bitchface. The food was ok, the prices were HIGH, but the biggest issue was the hostess with attitude, AKA, bad case a bitchface. Your entire job is to pretend to be nice for the 5 seconds it takes to hustle us to a table and the two seconds it takes to say goodbye. This lady couldn't do either because she sucks at life, but that's not my problem, I won't be back because I paid 25 dollars to have my wife annoyed on my day off. I spend my whole week dealing with people's crap, so my time off is special. This happened at least a few months ago, so if you fixed her problem or fired her, good job. read more

First visit here and to this restaurant chain in general. The food was amazing. I got a pretty basic combination of eggs, bacon, ham, hash browns and toast but it was all cooked perfectly. My dad was blown away by it as well said his over easy eggs was cooked better than he could make them himself. This was the same price you'd pay for IHOP but you get next level breakfast. If I'm in the area I'd definitely go back to this location. I have one closer to me but it doesn't have as good as reviews but I might give the San Tan Valley one a try soon. read more

"Disappointing Breakfast Experience" I was really looking forward to trying this place, but my experience was a letdown. I waited over an hour for my food, which felt way too long, especially for breakfast. When the food finally arrived, I expected it to be worth the wait--but unfortunately, it wasn't fresh at all. It was like it had been sitting around for a while. They gave me a $10 discount for the delay, but honestly, it didn't make up for the lackluster food or the long wait. My husband and I tried this new restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised with the service and the food was absolutely great!!
