Holy fuck this may be the first time I might have to say that the wait was not worth it. Waited probably 2 hours, got seated, ordered, food took awhile to come out, when it did, it was not good. The shrimp seemed old, frozen beyond control and overcooked. They were smaller than i remembered and they had black spots on it which is a HUGE indication of shit you should throw away and not serve to customers. BC has mussels and in my opinion is not worth it, the best thing was probably their white rice....and if you fuck that up, then shit we got a problem, but good thing that was good with the sauce I used from the mussels I ordered. Speaking of the mussels, I probably wouldn't order them again, it is not worth it, shells overweigh the bag so obviously you aren't getting a pound, same with clams, but their clams tasted pretty good when I ate some from my friend's bag. the food is delicious so ofc 5 stars. however the 3 stars is for the as always disgusting level restroom. I got here around 630PM and was told the wait was maybe 1hr~1hr30min, but we actually got in around 8:40PM. The wait was expected so no biggie but really its all about the restroom. I wanted to wash my hands and i knew the restroom was dirty but went in with slight hope and obviously failed. I felt like i was going to get food poisining after touching ANYTHING in there, since we use our hands to eat the shrimp. compeletly lost my appetite after going in to the restroom. Came here once again and as always about an hour wait but who cares its worth the wait. This time I got 1 lb of king show crab legs and it came with only 2 legs and not even a claw...I was kinda bummed. Also got the crawfish which were not bad this time around. my tips:: 1. Me and my girlfriend ordered 1 lb of shrimp and 1 lb of clam in whole shebang, NON-SPICY. And it came spicy, not even just mild. We told the waitress and she said kitchen accidentally added some spice and said "just a little." Um.... Girl, we order NON-SPICY!! And obviously it's kitchen's mistake! We asked her to get a new one becuz we really can't eat that. Then, she just left the spicy food and never came back. 5 mins waiting, we saw her serving other tables and totally ignore us, even when we called her. We told the other guy and he brought our food back to kitchen, came back with new and correct non-spicy one, said:"Yeah... I tried. It's really spicy." Showed up around 4:30 and we were the first one on the waiting list. It was about a 5minute wait. When we got sat down, we ordered immediately. We both got a pound of the shrimp whole shabang mild, an order of mild cajun fries and.a 6piece oyster. We were suprised that it was a full restaurant but the food came out within 5minutes. Only two stars because of the nastiness of the bathroom. The toilet handle was also broken so flushing the toilet was an adventure. The food was average over all. The shrimp was great. The crawfish, although they claimed it was fresh, didn't taste like it. The texture of the clams was that of bubblegum. One of the people I eat with claimed clams are supposed to be chewy. Question, why would I subject my digestive system to something my teeth can't handle? My favorite boiling crab by far! I've gone to a few other locations and something is always wrong, bad service or soggy shrimp or understaffed causing a super long wait. Overhyped and overcrowded. We came with the hopes of trying this restaurant only to be told the wait was 3+ hours and that we wouldn't even be guaranteed seating despite waiting that amount of time. So we asked if it would be possible to order takeout instead and they replied yes. Then the girl at the counter rudely went to answer the phone. And walked away. While the other employees behind the counter ignored us as well. And I was like "excuse me" weren't you just assisting me, I would like a menu to order and she rudely handed me one and told me I would have to order in a different area. The attitude I experienced and the overall ambiance made me walk out, I didn't feel like a valued customer and I won't be returning. Customer service is definitely not there first priority here. if you've ever been to the boiling crab on valley, you know the wait is RI-DI-CU-LOUS. especially with a big group of people! i'm so glad that BC has opened this new location on main st! the space is about the same, but the walking area is much more roomy and THERES NO WAIT! my friend and i got there at 12:10 on sunday, the restaurant was only about 1/3 filled, so we were seated immediately. the food tastes THE SAME, DELICIOUS! only bad thing is that their restrooms are those single stall ones, so theres occasionally a wait to wash your hands =/ 2 large groups came in after us and they were seated immediately too, no problem. i feel like once more people know about this location, the wait might end up being the same as the one on valley. but for now, take advantage! theres free valet parking behind BC if you get there before 4PM, after that you have to pay but im not sure how much. read more

I'm not as crazy about this place as much as my friends but it is pretty tasty and surprisingly cheap. I would go again if not for huge wait. We had to wait awhile because we had a large group but we seem to have missed the worst of it - when we left the entire outdoor waiting area was full of people. The whole sha-bang sauce is really tasty - esp with the corn. The only thing is since you have to peel the shrimp, you have to throw the shrimp back into the bag to soak up any of the sauce, otherwise its really bland. My friend raved about the catfish and cajun fries - both are quite tasty but since its not my favorite fish, its not something I'd order again. The bummer was that everyone wanted different levels of spiciness so we didnt get to share as much.My friends werent too impressed with the crab that they got but everyone liked the shrimp. This was my second time at this particular location. The only real negative about this location is parking sucks arm pitts. Valet opens at 4pm so if you can you'll be better to wait until 4pm. The wait was about 35-40 which really wasn't that bad. Whomever's Ipod they we're playing was rocking.. The food was great. This was only my 2nd time eating boiled craw fish. (I hated it at the Pittsburg Seafood Festival) This time around I actually liked it. I'm still no expert in sucking the juice from the head and pushing up the bottom is too much work. lol. The only thing I would be cautious of eating is the whole crab. The crab insides are still there gutts, eggs and all. If you are ok with that then you should enjoy it.
