Amazing customer service, family run business! The pho, we ordered #2 and had to order another one to go because it is that good. They only use all beef bones and the aromatic herbs are top of this world. Rice noodle are fresh, not the dried one so it is glossier and has a nice chew to it. We also ordered a dessert. It was also amazing. Overall, very good ingredients as the flavour shows. We will be back often.

What a lovely pho restaurant! My partner and I ordered to go combo and both we are surprised with their meat volume. We agreed that the meal contains more than average. We had lemongrass chicken, two pork skewers with vermicelli. I wished the chicken had more herby flabour. Both meat were very juicy, though. My impression was they haven't used MSG or less MSG. I was not thirsty after all and even original sauce tasted very mild. The owner lady is super friendly and sweet. As I live close by, I want to come back again.

Update (September 11, 2024) Went here for the second time today. Ordered the Bun Bo Hue and chicken wings. The Bun Bo Hue was flavourful, albeit a bit salty. It came with several slices of beef and meatballs, it also had a piece of pork hock. As usual, this place has no sizes for bowls so expect to get a small. The chicken wings were mediocre. I mean they were juicy, hot and crispy; but the flavour just wasn't there. You could mostly just taste the coating and that's it. Unfortunately the most flavourful thing on that dish was the basil leaf they used as garnish. One thing that was unexpected was getting the store brand sweet chili sauce to use for dipping. I was expecting something alone the lines of garlic or fish sauce, but I got neither. A bit disappointing if you ask me.

We came here as there was a 20% discount for its grand opening. I had the spicy fish noodle and it was not bad. There was only one size and the portion was decent. My friends had the rice dishes and they liked it. It was probably not very filling as they went on to another place to have more food. Service was ok. If you sit by the window, the sun does shine on you. Luckily there are shades which the staff can roll down electronically. Do not try to pull the shade down manually. Parking is available on the street and side roads.

I ordered food from The Cloud on UberEats. The prices ranges from $2 to $4 extra compared to eating at the restaurant. I got the beef and beef ball noodle soup. It was ok. Nothing special. It is somewhat mediocre. The soup flavor wasn't very rich. I also go the lemon grass chicken with rice. They are doing a bogo promo on UberEats at the moment. Works out the best $10 for one. It tasted ok as well. They didn't give me any fish sauce. The portion size was decent.

Tried out a new Vietnamese spot, The Clouds Vietnamese Cuisine, for a late dinner. They were offering 20% off for their grand opening. Service was friendly and sweet. Shared salad rolls ($7.50), bun bo hue ($14.45) and bun cha ca dac biet ($14.45). The fish cakes were different; super bouncy texture, which we enjoyed. Broth was clean and aromatic. The BBH was decent but broth was lacking depth. Looking forward to trying more noodle soups.

Looks like the previous beef noodle place has now turned into a new pho place. Parking is available on Victoria, as well as the side streets. This place is literally a mom an pop shop. The dad speaks English but the mom doesn't. If she's out on waitress duty, use hand gestures. The place opened in the middle of February 2023. As of the time of writing, they have a 20% discount on everything, which makes for a pretty good deal. Pho here only comes in 1 size, which would be the equivalent of a regular at other places. To make up for this, the dishes can be ordered with extra noodles or meat, but this drives the price up quite a bit. I had the pho dac biet (special pho). The beef slices were blood red. Wow. Broth was on the medium side. Beef balls and other bits were tasty. Served with some raw onions. Toppings include basil, cooked bean sprouts, and a lemon slice instead of line. I also tried their rice dishes. Decent but not large portion. As of the time of writing, a spring roll is $1.50 on top, which is nice. Decent taste. Meat was moist and juicy. Place is pretty solid. Recommended.

This restaurant quietly opened their doors not too long ago, and they have quite a few Vietnamese dishes and lets just say their iced coffee is one of the best! Super rich and delicious. V1 - LEMONGRASS CHICKEN ($13.95) ~ the chicken was nice and soft and tender, it was rich in flavor too! I really liked it with the vermicelli and the fish sauce was so good with the chicken. It was a good amount of chicken too which was a good deal for the price! 7/10 N7 - Spicy beef bun bo hue ($14.45) ~ the noodles were good, and soup was yummy. I do wish it was more flavorful and deep in spices but overall it was nice. There was also a good amount of beef to this as well. 6.5/10. Iced coffee (gifted - $6/each) ~ BOMB! It was the perfect sweetness and still strong it was good. I love my viet coffee strong but still a bit sweet and to me it was the perfect ratio of sweetness and strongness. 10/10. Also go N1 - House special pho. 7/10. Overall their dishes are good after we ordered we saw everyone came in and ordered V3 - Lemongrass chicken and 2 pork skewers so I definitely need to try that one next time cause the pork looked so good! Thank you for gifting us some coffees the owners here honestly so nice and welcoming.

Been several times to The Clouds Vietnamese Cuisine. It's run by a sweet Vietnamese family. Have only visited for Friday dinners (8:00pm). The inside is bright and clean with 7 tables (22 seats). Friendly service and teas are occasionally refilled. It doesn't state on the menu but they also offer seafood and pork broth. - Herbs - bean sprouts, basil, lemon wedges and sliced jalapeño peppers. - Cha gio (A1) ($7.95) - good crunch but an extremely small portion. - Goi cuon (A2) ($7.95) - went with one prawn and one lemongrass chicken. Okay but iceberg lettuce lowered the quality. - Bun bo hue (N7) ($15.45) - broth was lacking complexity. Noodle portion oddly small and left me still hungry. - Bun cha ca dac biet (N8) ($15.95) - fish cakes were springy and chewy. Broth had good depth, well balanced. This is their best bowl. - Pho dac biet (N1) ($14.95) - broth was on the sweeter side. Brisket was overcooked, no tendon or tripe. Have had better dac biet's elsewhere. - Hu tieu chua cay (N9) ($16.95) - hot and spicy broth was decent. Not much seafood in the bowl but good portion of noodles. Noodles don't keep their texture. - Pho ga (N10) ($15.45) - chicken was tender. Broth was enjoyable; light, slightly sweet and kaffir lime was abundant. Same problem with the soft noodles. TCVC bowls are decent but never quite sate me.

    A very nice note :)

So delicious!! I ordered a salad roll off of Uber eats with lemon grass chicken - not only is the food delicious, but the staff is so sweet! They left the nicest note AND an extra salad roll for me. I've been in bed sick so this completely made my day! I will be ordering only from here from now on and hope everyone else does the same :)

Quiet atmosphere with quality food. Slight change in the menu and prices increase since opening but still a good value. A rice or vermicelli combo with lemongrass chicken is $20 and includes a salad roll and spring roll.

They also have a bar area. Kind of an Asian French fusion menu. Food dishes were good and creative, but it didn't really appeal to me. I appreciated the good service and chill atmosphere, but not sure if I would come back. I would say that their house made spicy was really good. A mix of sweet, sour, and spicy. Had a brightness to it yet also very, very spicy. Tastes great on many of the dishes, especially if you wanted a nice "kick" to the food. I believe you can order a jar to take home if you wish.

The space is much nicer, with high ceilings and lots of light - great looking bistro. I ended up trying the following: - Mussels: Very good. Classic dish, but I really like the use of cream in the broth. - Bánh Mì Cay Hải Phòng (Spicy Baguette Sticks): Good. A nice little snack, although it would be easy to recreate at home. - Lamb Chops: Very good. Cooked just right, and the pepper sauce added extra flavour. - Fried Frog Legs: Very good. This was probably the surprise dish for me. They weren't just the legs, but the entire bottom of the frog, so the pieces were huge. The garlic, butter and chili flakes gave it a extra punch. I really enjoyed this one. - Pho Bo: Good. Not the best pho I've had, but it's good enough to stand on it's own. Service was quite good. Very cheerful and quite attentive. Overall a nice meal. It's a great space, the food is solid, and service to match. What I really like is having the variety of both French and Vietnamese dishes, without either of them suffering in quality. Only downside is that is it expensive for what you get.

Went in for lunch with my granddaughter, both of us fans of Vietnamese food. Ordered Green Papaya Salad ($12), Lemongrass Chicken on Vermicelli with one spring roll ($17), one lime soda ($6.50) and one pop ($3). Food arrived within minutes of ordering. Portions were very generous. The salad was perfect with everything very fresh, as it should be but often isn't in some places. Plump prawns and the scent and taste of basil was prominent. Delicious! The lemongrass chicken (we ordered extra chicken) with a spring roll was also very generous. We did not finish it between the two of us. Again, all was fresh, tasty and hot. This is one of our standard orders and Pho Goodness did not disappoint. Granddaughter declared it better than at our regular favourite, and Pho Goodness is around the corner from her home and not a bus ride out to Kingsway! Service was friendly and responsive. We asked that the volume be turned off on the massive TV over our heads (which nobody was watching) (it was), requested a glass for the pop and immediately received a tumbler full of ice. Lovely. We have found a new favourite on Davie Street, a true foodie heaven with a collection of independent restaurants of many ethnicities available. We will return to Pho Goodness when the urge for Vietnamese food strikes again.

The Garden Rolls were absolutely the #1 worst ones we've ever eaten! We've had hundreds of fresh rolls at dozens of places and sadly, none were as tasteless as these. They consisted of noodles, a bit of flavorless tofu and cucumber. Fresh rolls MUST have at least one or more of the following: fresh mint, fresh cilantro or fresh Thai Basil. Hestia's had NONE!. To add insult to injury, the watery sauce also had NO flavor. To add more insult, they were baggy and poorly wrapped and the innards kept falling out. Not fun and definitely not good. The king oyster mushrooms were very good, but there was a ton of pink mayo dousing it. I would have preferred the sauce be in a separate bowl so we could choose how much dipping we'd like to do. The saffron tofu bowl was sensational! Perfectly spiced and full of a huge variety of well-cooked veggies plus the saffron rice was good too. No one came during our meal to ask if we needed anything or to ask how our meal was. The customer service is in need of some work.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner one evening and each ordered the aforementioned noodle soup--she got a small ($11.75 plus tax) and I got a regular ($12.75 plus tax). We also got an order of salad rolls ($7.50 plus tax), which comes with 2 rolls. The rolls came quite late. They were pretty standard, coming with fried tofu, vermicelli, and lettuce. The peanut dipping sauce was on the liquidy, salty soy sauce side of things -- I wish it were creamier and less salty. 3/5 The soups were decent. The broth was peppery, with some nice, gentle spices detectable in there. I asked for a side of chili oil, which helped amplify the broth. You get a generous portion of noodles, fried tofu, and vegetables (broccoli, bok choy, carrot). Unfortunately the veggies were quite overcooked -- the broccoli was almost soggy, so were the carrots and bok choy. 3/5 All in all, middle-of-the-road veggie pho. The broth is pleasant.
