The lady pours me the coffee about 70% full. She asks me "do you want room for milk?" Granted she had left room for milk. I say, I would like you to pour it all the way up with coffee. She says "the coffee is too strong, it can harm you." I say, who came up with that? What if it was lactose and tolerant, she said "we have almond milk? I said, what if I'm allergic to that? She said "well, it's just store policy." I said, well fine.... Can you pour me another cup of coffee? She said "certainly, with ice or no ice." I said... Stop, now why would you pour me another cup of coffee if it can harm me but you don't want to top off my cup with coffee? She got mad.... I was mad. Of course, I think honestly. These are the most rude and money hungry, despicable people to practice business. It's safe to say, I will never go back to this business and or recommend them to anyone else. Yeah, this is just a review to some people. But if you like to drink your coffee black, how you like it, light ice and filled up. At this place it will cost you another 1.25 to fill it up. Hand to GOD So they charge you for the small. But want an extra 1.25 to fill it up. That's 6.25 for a cup of coffee. Meanwhile they gave me a despicable look and says "it's only 1.25 more." The double tongued policy adjustment and the service doesn't meet the standard for anyone to spend a buck with these people. "Our coffee is strong. So we can't top off your drink for your health reasons, unless you pay 1.25 more." It is exactly what they said. Thee ambiance gives cool vibes but it is far less then.

I had a bunch of questions about the different kinds of matcha because I'm a newly matcha girlie and still learning the flavors. I told them I wanted something sweet, and they gave great recommendations and let me know the one I chose was really good quality. When I got it, it was a little strong for me, so we added more oat milk and a splash of vanilla, and that made it perfect. The aesthetic of the café was beautiful; minimalist, bougie, and it literally felt like a high end neighborhood café. The menu was teeny tiny, so it took us a minute to decide. My friend got an iced Spanish latte, and she said it was probably the best one she's ever had, this was also recommended by the cashier. We sat inside, drank our drinks, and did a little people watching out the window. Parking was a little sketch, but overall I definitely recommend and can't wait to go back.

I prefer to sit outside since there were a lot of students working on their laptops and I didn't want to cause any distraction since we were there to mingle and chat. Being outside was nice, but you also still have other people seated outside, or in passing. The barista/cashier was friendly, especially when I let him know that it was my first time. He asked me what my likes were and said he can make that for me. I went with a hot honey cinnamon vanilla latte and it was good. It may have needed more to it because it was not flavorful and sweet enough. I couldn't taste the honey or cinnamon. It tastes more like a vanilla latte. But I think this is an easy fix next time I order. They also have a restroom for customers which I visited, and it was clean. There is plenty of parking and this is definitely a college crowd, but welcome to everyone.

This spot is on a busy street in Long Beach, where there's some parking in the back. You can also enter or leave from front or back too. This is kind of a new/modern type of coffee place.
