Went to the depot and had a reservation for 6 the hostess was taking a phone order and made us stand there without even acknowledging us for a couple minutes then she has us seating. My boyfriend and I had the server Anthony. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food. When asking our server he lied and said it was being played and we still continued to wait another 15 minutes. I didn't care for the garbage wings..but the sweet chili wings were AMAZING!! SO delicious and a nice char which I LOVE!!!!!!! Went here with our baseball team and was very disappointed that we couldn't sit as a team, families had to sit together. Ordered their "famous" pizza and was sadly disappointed because it tasted like nothing other than bread with marinara sauce. Others ordered the eggplant Parmesan, chicken Marsala, and rigatoni ala vodka. All dinners were said to be very bland. Also ordered their award winning meatballs and was not impressed. Great find! We were looking for something off the main strip and found this hidden gem. Great, friendly service and our meals were delicious. Cobb salad was excellent! The Pizza is different. That's the first thing to know about. Been coming here since it opened in the 70's. Upside down pizza is what we called it. Sauce on top. Back then did not even know they made anything else, so that's all I can comment on. Was back this weekend after many many years. There's now a new room in the back. Nicely done. Ordered the sausage pizza, Looks a bit like a Sicilian pan pie. Definite updated a bit on the crust. Thicker and more crisp than I remembered. Tasty sauce, sausage and cheese were generous. Wouldn't eat this all the time by choice - but it is an experience. The Depot is a cozy bar road house off the beaten path, near the river and the train tracks, If you're in the area, give it a try.Nice beer selection on tap too. My boyfriend and I have had their burger multiple times and have never been disappointed. We like our burgers medium-rare, and they seem to be the only place in town who can cook it to perfection! My only complaint- the only time I tried the fish sandwich, it was soggy and the bun was way too small for the giant piece of mushy fish. I picked this because everyone wanted pizza or italian food and it had 4.5 stars so figured, it can't be bad. Well I was pleasantly surprised. I can see now why it got the ratings it has. I had the garbage wrap and it was super yummy. My friend tried the garbage boneless wings super hot and really loved them. I swapped the steak fries for the curly fries that were also quite good. My god-daughter had the pizza and she found it to be good but coming from NYC, she wasn't wowed but that's expected. All in all, super happy we stopped here and sad that its so far away from the city otherwise I'd be in there a lot! read more

Burger is a frozen patty, not what you want for $7.95, Bacon on burger was very hard, not crispy, but more like plastic-y. I suspect microwave reheating of day or days old. At least last night, the fryer oil is old. The Calamari and Fries were pretty awful because of it. This place was recommended as their "Garbage wings" are really good. Upon walking in we were told a 45 minute wait. Told hostess we came all this way from Minnesota and they sat us right away due to no show reservation. Wednesday was 20 cent wing night. The requirement is to either buy a Pitcher of pop or bucket of beers. I was with parents so opted for ginger ale and had to drive back to cabin rental. You can also order in multiples of 5. My choice was garbage, garbage hot, and golden. Golden were a barbecue mustard base and ok. Garbage are a combo of all sauces and secretive. These are good and sweet, savory and flavorful. I liked garbage hot as they add a bit of cayenne pepper sauce for heat. Very good and fried and tossed perfectly. 3/5 due to not having enough toilet paper in restroom, one stall restroom. Also very short staffed on special wing night. The server just took order and wait time was over 40 minutes for wings and salad. Granted it was super busy but no asking how is everything. Also had to wait at least 10 minutes for a to go box for 3 uneaten wings. Service could be greatly improved if they hired more people especially on 20 cent wing night. Not sure I can fairly give one star since all I got during our 45 minute wait was water and my side salad. We found the place find but after 55 minutes total wait time for no food we wish we hadn't. I have to say that this little place tucked away in the small town in Oneonta, it's in an old train station. The food was very fairly priced and the food came out very quickly. The hot sauce for the chicken was great. The prices for the beer was good too. The only drawback was the waitress did not know the beer selection and didn't know that she had IPAs. These wings are fantastic! If you're going and not getting garbage wings, you're doing it wrong. It's a really cool spot, but no the easiest to get to from campus. First time there we got kind of lost, but we discovered a ton of homes in Oneonta, which we didn't know existed. It's on an abandoned rail road track )in case your wondering why the theme). We had a large group so they put us in the back that had very high ceilings and it was just a good time. The service was good. We have no complaints. Back to the wings though, they just have you wanting more and more until you want to puke and you still want more. Amazing Garbage Wing sauce! We got the boneless wings plain, so we could add as much or little sauce as we wanted. We both bought a bottle of sauce to go it was that good. I am also a blue cheese dressing fan, period. By far hands down this is the best blue cheese dressing I have ever had!!! I ordered the grilled pork chops it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Waitress took 15 minutes to come get drink order. Then took another 10 to bring them. Kids menu is Awful so we asked if they could make a simple fettuccine Alfredo for a kids meal. "Yeah for the full price adult meal of $11.95" oh thanks. Got a nice soup but waitress dropped my spoon and went to get another one.
