Food was good overall. It did come out quick so it made me question how it was prepared. The service wasn't that great. There was a moment where our waitress disappeared or was on break or something but no one checked in on us for approx 30 to 40 mins. No refills no check-ins on how we were doing. Service is key especially if you're open to keep getting food and drinks and you see your customers are drinking then keep checking in on them. The lack of service makes you just want to leave and go somewhere else. There was a larger party there and a band playing. It seemed one waitress was attending to the large party only which I get. The Edmon is Amazing. Food is wonderful. I've been coming here for years. My review is for the new parking attendant I've encountered the last 3 times coming here during happy hour. I'm not sure what's going on with him but he makes it impossible to park. He's always walking around the parking lot talking on the phone. He's never at his post. When he is he is chatting it up with randoms in the parking lot and completely ignores you when trying to park. He blocks all parking spots with cones but can never be found when trying to park. He is incredibly difficult to understand. His communication skills are lacking to say the least. He forces everyone to back into the parking spots and is never satisfied with how you park even if you are perfectly within the lines. I know their parking lot is a bit tight but I've never had problems parking here until he has taken over the parking attendant position. I've even seen people get so frustrated with his direction that they just leave. I almost left yesterday. The younger guy that used to always be at the parking stand previously was so much better. If you go, try to avoid the parking attendant because he will 100% guaranteed aggravate your nerves before getting into the door. read more

We found this spot randomly on Yelp and thank god we stopped by. The space is so swanky looking, the deco sets the perfect evening mood and the back parking lot space was so well set up with fake grass turf, lights and tables. Came here for happy hour with my coworkers and we love the vibe here! Love the bar and food options they offer. The price on the happy hour drink menu is also very reasonable. Order a few beer and food to share. The food is 10/10 and till this day I'm thinking about their duck taco because it's SO GOOD! duck meat is super tender, perfectly seasoned and match so well with the taco. Delicious! We came after a wedding for a late night bite and the nachos we sooo good!

I looked on Yelp for a place to have an appetizer and some drinks. We were headed out a little late but this spot is open til 12:30. We arrived and were told there was a wait outside but we could grab seats at the bar. BEST CHOICE EVER! We had Bill as our bartender and he was super friendly and hooked us up with some good drink choices! We were still hungry but they said the kitchen typically closed at 10PM. We were so close to the dot he still got us some snacks! Thanks again Bill! You were awesome! Throughout our whole interaction with Bill, he was super helpful and definitely treated us as family. He offered great suggestions and alternatives. Over all, great experience. The indoor portion is open later than the outdoor, and the bar is beautiful! It's a cute hidden gem somewhere between Ktown and Hollywood, closer to Hollywood. It's in the lovely Hollywood historic hotel. Happy hour is decent for food and drinks. It added up quickly considering it was happy hour. But at least everything was tasty. Parking in their lot and easy and free. There's a patio that looked spacious. Indoor tables feel comfortably spaced out as well. I'll definitely return for a nice happy hour catchup with friends. read more

Came in recently on a date and had an excellent experience all around. Outside of the great food and drinks, the service was phenomenal. The female bartender (she told us her name but I can't remember, that's on me and I can admit that) was extremely friendly and attentive without needing to carry the conversation for myself and my date. She recommended drinks that were perfect for us and also gave us great advice for things to do around the city. I'm perpetually impressed by The Edmon, which is inside the Hollywood Historic Hotel (est. 1927). The Edmon feels very Great Gatsby with its art deco patterns, high ceilings, mood lighting, and stunning bar. During the pandemic, they've also opened an outdoor patio area with heat lamps. I've always really enjoyed the food, drinks, and conversations with the servers and bartenders! This last visit I got the hangar steak with the habanero vinaigrette substituting the fingerling potatoes for french fries. The dish was soooo good! On previous visits, I've enjoyed the burnt eggplant, shishito peppers, burrata, and hamachi crudo. I really don't think you can go wrong here! Was very impressed by the staffs' ability to accommodate us, will definitely be back here. I came here for the first time for dinner and drinks with a couple of friends. We were able to walk in without a reservation on a Saturday at 6:30. We had to wait maybe 15-20 minutes at the bar (gorgeous!) before a table was ready which was not a problem. The bartender was very accommodating, I ordered an espresso martini which was not on the menu, but he so graciously made two for us which he definitely did not have to. They tasted delicious! By the time our drinks were done, our table was ready. They have a really nice outdoor seating area in the parking lot in the back. Between three of us we ordered the Burnt Eggplant, the Roasted Cauliflower, the Grilled Gem Caesar, the Thai Style Chicken Wings, and the Sliders. My only note would be that the Thai Chicken Wings were VERY SPICY, I am not a stranger to spice, but I was unable to finish these. Our server was very nice, and like I said, very accommodating. Our food took a bit to come out, and he graciously comp'd our first round of drinks, which he definitely did not need to. My friend and I came out here for Happy Hour on a Thursday evening. The ambiance was lovely, the food tasty, the drinks hit the spot, and it was pretty empty. I don't like poutine (or soggy things in general) and my friend didn't eat much of it (we ordered a lot of things though). So not sure where that stands. But the taco, sliders, and calamari we both highly enjoyed. I wish I remembered the drinks we got. I loved them all! But the night was long and all the drinks got inside me. Loved this place! The inside and outside are both gorgeous. They have a fun happy hour menu. Our waiter was friendly with good timing. The highlight of what we had was definitely the calamari. Some of the best I've ever had which is kind of random! Perfectly breaded and fried with two sauces. Definitely order it and it's cheap during happy hour.
