This place is simply awesome! The service was great. Our waitress was very polite and ensured we got the best deal possible. We had two rounds of flights which were amazing. My girlfriend had the Mediterranean Omelette with Gouda cheese and the French toast. I had the Southwestern omelette and French toast. Choices choices and more choices. I'm in town for the weekend and while getting my car serviced the gentleman there told me to come here. I'm so glad we did. Our waitress Brei spoiled us with excellent service. It was our first time so she walked us through the menu and even gave us a minute to make our selections. The food did not disappoint. Ive seen this menu a few times but always after they've already closed. Luckily I was able to order today. So I tried the Dixie chicken wrap and the chicken and waffles. This is where the not so lucky kicks in. There was supposed to be a mild sauce and ranch in the wrap there was neither. The lettuce was soggy and yes it's a chicken wrap but the unflavored chicken chunks were to much. And as for the "chicken and waffles" the waffles were fluffy and delicious but the chicken were similar to the chicken chunks in the wrap. The chicken for both meals was battered and fried but tasted like nothing which was VERY disappointing..... the 2 stars are for the fries pickle and the fluffy waffles. I more than likely won't be back to be this disappointed again. read more

We stumbled upon this place and OMG we will be back. The food was incredible. My 6 yo who is a pancake connoisseur voted this the best pancake in all of the land. My other little had the oatmeal and the fruit was fresh and delicious. Anyone with kids knows that usual kid fare is subpar. Not this place. Top notch. The bacon wrapped grilled asparagus with hollandaise sauce is something that I will now attempt to recreate at home. The service from Shannen was also incredible. Oh my GOSH the asparagus!!! with the hollandaise sauce!!!! very smart decision for whoever decided to pair those together. That was a delicious combo. The eggs benedict was cooked perfectly (I'm highly critical of how eggs are cooked). I was honestly overwhelmed by all of the options on the menu -- there are a lot, but we ordered a variety at the table and everyone enjoyed their foods. I also appreciated the different flavored creamers at the table for coffee. Our waitress kept up with our many refills and provided excellent service and recommendations for us. I ordered the banana pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs and grits. My order was served warm and I enjoyed everything. The grits were very gritty...just the way I like them. The pancakes had banana slices integrated into the batter and a few were added on top! Generally, I like feeling full after eating a full breakfast and this meal satisfied my appetite! The service was top notch -- our server withstood the inevitable barrage of requests from my sisters-in-law (they have firmly established a Goldilocks reputation in my family). After hearing so many people rave about this restaurant we finally gave it a try today! What was wrong with us? We have been missing out! From the moment you walk in you can tell you are appreciated...I've always said happy employees make a huge difference in whether you return....our server Leticia did not disappoint either, she was outgoing, friendly and we did not want for anything!! We all had breakfast and especially loved that there were healthy choices to chose from. All at our table enjoyed their food and the portions are ample. The food came out looking absolutely amazing. I'm posting my breakfast which is avocado toast, part of the healthy choice menu, absolutely delicious. They even have bloody Mary's and mimosas half off before 9am on the weekends....wow!!!! The only problem you will have is deciding what to order! I even peeked at the lunch and dinner menu so we are planning to have lunch there in the very near future! Been to the one off Independence twice and it was just ok, first visit breakfast was better than the 2nd. Good service but VERY noisy. 2nd time we both tried the chicken and waffles, and the waffles definitely more than there was chicken, which was fairly dry, had to keep dunking it to get some moisture. Even on a busy Sunday brunch, my friends and I were able to get a table. My boyfriend and I shared the chicken & waffles. My friends ordered the biscuits & gravy. I thought the portion was just the right amount for two people to share. By far one of the better chicken and waffles I've had, the chicken was moist and had a sweet crispy breading. I liked the the waffles are already separated (4 pcs) and their thick and fluffy not dry at all. Even our server who was quite busy still made sure to check up on us. First time here and boy was it packed! They took down our name and gave us an estimate which was about 45 minutes. Not too bad. We just killed some time at the nearby farm fresh. By the time we got back from there it was only about 10 more minutes. They get through the list pretty efficiently. They have a great food selection. Breakfast and lunch alike. Their portion sizes are good. I had an omelette with grits and a biscuit. All of it was good and taste like it's made in house. My friend had the French toast which again looked like they made it all in house(bread included). Although it was pretty crowded they have quite a bit of space throughout the restaurant so you didn't feel like it was crowded. The bar is nice and long to accommodate more seating. It's a nice place to go to for breakfast, brunch or dinner. I would recommend it. Totally worth the wait read more

The server, Maria J, had an attitude from the start and must have been same person on the tele, but she asked questions with a tone and then claimed I had an attitude when I had to speak up with mask on. They were aggressive with the weird lines going on and wait spots as well. Wait time was incredibly long for very little going on. Three stars for the food. 5 for the service. Waitress and hostess both warm and friendly. We were sat outside promptly and we had drink orders in ASAP. Unfortunately the good stuff ended there. We all ordered at the same time and while the wait was not long, our food arrived cold. I ordered the black and bleu benedict and ordered the steak medium rare. My steak was RAW and the poached eggs were COLD. Nasty. They offered to remake it and I declined, opting for the chicken and waffles which was okay. At the end of it all, they comped half of my husband's order and they comped my meal completely, which is greatly appreciated. **Side note, they do not serve anything on their lunch menu until 11:00, but it says that nowhere on the menu so our friend was sorely disappointed that he could not order what he originally wanted. Came here from hearing about the mimosas. They offer different flavors for a decent price. I ordered the flight of mimosas( any 4 flavors) and their chicken and waffles. The sauce came with a bourbon sauce that was really good. My boyfriend ordered the philly steak omelette with hash browns and toast. The atmosphere was relaxing. The food was good and arrived in a timely manner. Didn't taste like it had been sitting for awhile, it was hot and fresh. We arrived at 230 they close at 3 . But out waitress gave us plenty time to look over the menu and decide what we wanted. They have many different options for breakfast and lunch. We had gone to another local breakfast spot and the wait was outrageous, so I looked up a few places and this is where we ended up and we are so glad we did! What an awesome spot I never knew about! We did have a little wait on a Sunday morning but that is expected! Drink selections were awesome! I had the adult chocolate milk and OMG was it tasty! Two others at my table got alcoholic coffee drinks and they did not disappoint either! I went for the traditional eggs Benedict but got it on the French baguette instead of an English muffin. The hollandaise has a great flavor and my poached eggs were cooked to perfection! I was even asked how I wanted my eggs poached! In all my years of ordering eggs benny I have never had that happen! Sorting through breakfast places can be difficult for a breakfast lover, but after reading reviews we landed on the EB. We were so thrilled initially with the menu, seeing so many fantastic options. The seating was apexes apart, the staff was great- but choosing was difficult. They have pancakes infused with toppings, plenty of excellent breakfast bowl options as well as the usual suspects and house specialties. My wife loved the crab cake eggs Benedict, and I went for a signature omelette with a side of pancakes. I have one word for you: cronut, and if you do not at least try it, then you are crazy. This delicious menu item is dipped in French Toast batter, grilled and then dazzled with a honey and cinnamon and sugar finish, and boy is it delicious! While I could have eaten about five of these, I did not and decided to try the Traditional Eggs Benedict as well, which was also very good. But seriously, the cronut is the real MVP here. My husband and daughter and I came here for breakfast/brunch on Saturday at 12:15...it was not fully busy and there were a ton of open tables. They said it was A 25 minute wait before we could be seated as they were short staffed in the kitchen and needed time in between meals which I understood- that's fine as that's how a lot of places are these days. However we sat down at 12:40 put an order in for drinks at 12:47 it took 15 minutes to get the drinks, then it took almost an hour to get our food. I ordered a club sandwich and saw one sitting in the window up on the counter (no heating lamps etc) for 20 minutes and I said to myself she better not bring that to me (and I even mentioned that to the waitress I hope that's not mine up there that's been sitting for 20 minutes). What happened? she brought me the club sandwich that had been sitting for 20+ minutes so I refused it as I reminded her that was the one sitting 20+ minutes- I'm good will just eat what we have. We didn't order anything crazy that didn't take five minutes to make and every single person that sat after us and ordered their food after us got their food 10-20 minutes before we did. Horrible experience will never come here again!! read more
