The service was excellent, we walked in and was greeted and seated immediately. Our server was courteous providing menu suggestions. I enjoyed a biscuit sandwich which included eggs cooked precisely as requested, which is rare. The bacon was crispy but of course I wanted an extra side of bacon! My brunch companion enjoyed her grit bowl that also comes with a biscuit. We both agreed the biscuits were the perfect amount of flaky without being dry. On the morning of 5/6/26, I visited your establishment with my daughter to get her something to eat before school testing. When we arrived, another woman walked in behind us. The hostess who seated us--a white woman with dark hair who appeared to be a manager training someone--led us to the back of the restaurant. She did not offer us water or acknowledge us further. Immediately afterward, she seated the white woman who arrived after us at a table in the front, brought her water, made her coffee, and took her order--all before returning to us. Nearly ten minutes passed before a different server, a Spanish looking waitress, came from the back to ask for our order. At that point, we chose to leave. The situation was confusing, unprofessional, and frankly disappointing. To the white woman who hosted us with dark hair that was training someone this morning: the appropriate action would have been to take our order first, as we arrived first, and to provide the same level of service you offered the other guest. Seating us in the back and ignoring us while prioritizing someone who arrived after us was unacceptable. I will not allow my brown daughter to think that treatment like that is normal or acceptable. Everyone in Atlanta has been to a Flying Biscuit Cafe location one time or another but it is not as highly celebrated as it should be. The parking can be validated. The parking was free because of the validation from the restaurant. The staff was nice and attentive. I ordered the Stuffed French Toast Breakfast. It is two slices of French toast cut in half and covered with cream and strawberries. It also comes with dreamy grits, eggs, sausage, and a biscuit. The French toast was the star of the show and well worth it. Dreamy grits taste like they have some gravy in them and they are definitely dreamy. Give this place a try. read more

This restaurant is located in a trendy little food court. There is garage parking available, and yes, they do validate. There are a few free spots available for those picking up food. There is a shared dining area outside and the restaurant has a huge dining area and a bar area with seating. The dining are is bright and is decorated with colorful murals. It is a hip and trendy spot. There are a couple of televisions above the bar area to watch. They have breakfast food that includes pancakes, hash, waffles, bacon, eggs chicken and waffles, omelettes, and of course biscuits. For lunch, they have sandwiches, burgers, chicken tenders, salads, and shrimp and grits. There are also some cookies to sort through there. My interaction with the staff was limited, as I ordered take-out. However, they were nice enough. I ordered the Big Cheesy Patty Melt, which came with potato chips. FYI, they do not have fries. My food was ready in about 12 minutes. I am normally not a chip fan, but I liked theirs. They were really good. I liked the seasoning on them. The burger was not the best that I have had, but it was pretty good. My experience here was decent. I enjoyed my lunch. This place is worth a try if you are in the area. read more

Ate here the first morning in town coming from Seattle for the All Star Game 2025. Ended up sitting next to Joe Torre and his wife which was cool (we gave them privacy, of course). The place is tucked next to a coffee shop and kiddie corner to a hotel and other restaurants. Somewhat hard to spot but not too bad. My wife and I Lyfted up from our hotel and walked back after. The ambiance reminded me of a funky breakfast jungle, bordering on near tropical themed. There's a ton of seating but everything was full, always a good sign. The wait to sit took a while, like almost too long. When we were seated it took a while to get our drinks going. Sadly the place did not have peach nectar as advertised so I opted for a different juice. Hours and prices are friendly. Our food, however, did not take too long to come out. I had biscuits and gravy - the sawmill gravy was 'homier' with a slight more kick than other biscuit places in town, which I enjoyed. Though another place I went to in town has better gravy (barely), I preferred Flying Biscuits fluffier farm styled biscuits as opposed to crunchier-capped Southern style biscuits. Dont get me wrong, I'll smash both but I do prefer fluffier, softer biscuits. Flying Biscuit is my best biscuit choice in Buckhead. Scrambled eggs were very yummy. My wife sort of enjoyed her black bean juevos rancheros type special. It was heavy on cumin (which I usually like) and no sour cream. Delivery review - We've ordered from this location several times over the last year. The food is great. Though pricey it's worth it. Portion sizes are large, and all the dishes we've tried are well seasoned. Biscuits - It's in the name, so don't frequent this place without giving them a try. They come with a cranberry-apple butter (preserve, not compound). The biscuits are tall, fluffy, and delicious. The flavor is rich enough to eat on their own. Add the cranberry-apple butter for a sweet treat. This time we ordered a half-dozen to see how they hold up overnight for biscuit and egg sandwiches. Shrimp and grits - I wouldn't have ordered this for carryout, but their menu says they're famous for the dish, so why not? They hold up well through transit, and these are not your restaurant issue instant grits. They are thick and creamy, deliciously seasoned, and have a tomato-based sauce with lovely shrimp. Chicken and waffles - Great dish, despite the wear and tear (moisture) from transit on the waffle. Plain or hot chicken tenders, both are delicious, and a good portion. This is one dish we've ordered that I expect will be better at the restaurant. Omelets here are thick and full of their respective fillings. They offer turkey bacon as a substitute for pork, if that's important to you, and they offer a chicken sausage. Cholula hot sauce comes with some of the orders, but if you need condiments, you'll probably want to make sure you order them. Looking forward to visiting the restaurant and trying more of their menu. read more

I was at the Flying Bisquit 7/19 around 11 am. I used Google Maps for directions, it led me close not exactly near to the closest entrance. I called, I spoke with Andrea (I asked her name later, and totally forgot it, sorry) and she gave me better directions. I am a fairly recent amputee and want to save some steps and decided to valet. This location is in a corporate and residential high-rise plaza on the ground floor, on the other side of a lobby facing Peachtree. I ask how I can oay for thr Valerie, he told me it eas complimentary, just tips optional. I put the room up in my csr and take the 5pp foot walk. I am greeted by a hostess and let her know I am eating solo (on the lookout for a future ex-wife). She asks ifbI want to sit at the counter, I said yes, that's always my preference as a solo diner. It takes a while for Andrea to ask if I am dining in, and she hands me a menu. I totally get it, she is overworked handling the chores the food delivery orders, the counter and fielding questions from her colleagues. It's all good for me. I was told the Cheesy Grits were great. I get that and a decaf coffee. Yes the grits are GREAT! The decaf coffee was what it should be and I wasn't rushed. I was given tap water also. I strike up a conversation with a dude on my left that was at the Yankee vs Braves game the night prior (I went later that day). It was a nice friendly conversation. As I am finishing up I let Andrea know that I'd like to ourchase on of the t-shirts on display on the wall to the right as walking in. It is purple with a grits phrase, in large. Andrea came back and told me they had medium and XL in thst shirt. I ask her to bring the XL out in case it runs small, I was also 35p lbs at one point and needed thst size and revert back to my old ways. She brings the XL out and ask her what does she think. Andrea says "It woukd make a good sleeping shirt" I pass and give her option 2. She goes back to let someone know of option 2, and I was told a large was found. YAY! I ask for the bill settle up with a card, a signature wasn't required on the receipt which I found odd, and left a tip on cash, walking out with my souvenir. I hear off to the car, it was parked where I dropped it off. He grabs the keys, asks me for my ticket, give him a $5 bill and off I go to the Lenox mall. This place was clean and cute. Service was good. Coffee was fine. My friend got an omelet and she said it was pretty good. What really threw me off was that the "hot chicken and waffle" was actually a waffle with more of a chicken finger covered in buffalo sauce, which made the waffle pretty soggy.
