Goat and vine is one of my most favorite restaurants in town! The food is always delicious and consistent. You know that what you order will be the same taste and quality as past visits. My favorite go to items is the meatballs and parm bread app and the favorite turkey sandwich. My only gripe and feedback to management (and it's nothing that hasn't been communicated to them over and over by lots and lots of locals) is that with the sandwiches I wish they offered a side salad as an option instead of the chips. I'm not a fan of chips and a side salad would be perfect with a sando. Pro tip: make sure to check yourself in online on yelp before you go. 9 times out of 10 there is a pretty long wait but if you use the online check in it's as smooth as butter! read more

Asking any local in Temecula, the one place I always hear to have to try is Goat and Vine, and I can quickly tell why it has such a name for itself. The inside and staff were all very nice and super helpful in helping us choose a dish to try. One thing to note is to make sure you join the yelp waitlist early if you are going to try to get a spot here. Joined on a Saturday afternoon and waited approximately 1 hour to get seated so definitely make sure to plan accordingly. We ended up trying their hatch chile honey chicken pizza which seemed to be a crowd favorite and was definitely enough to share for two. My favorite part of the pizza was how well balanced the flavor was. All the different aspects mixed together very well and created a very yummy. My one gripe of this particular pizza was that I wish it had a bit more of the toppings like the chicken and the chile. At some parts of the pizza, it felt a bit lackluster with very little pieces since it ended up feeling like a honey cheese pizza, but alast it still was a very amazing and wonderful pizza. I have been learning to make pizzas with my Ooni wood fire pizza oven and I've been getting pretty good but the depth of flavor and deliciousness of your pizza has me thinking about new ways to incorporate ingredients. The overall vibe of this restaurant feels fresh, it feels like a part of Italy, and it has this really nice relaxing nature to it. It's perfect for date nights and celebrations but anyone can come here and enjoy the food. The service was amazing, we had Kristen and she was amazing, funny , had great suggestions etc. I appreciate great hosts like this and she knew the menu too. On her own merit you would get 5 stars. The food was just something else... everything is made from scratch and you can taste it. We got the steak and Gorgonzola pizza and the goats garden. We also got the brew house blue cheese salad and the sourdough bread pudding to close out the night. Each pizza was so delicious, the texture, the crust, the sauces and the ingredients. The goats garden was a melody of flavors, we actually pulled off each individual ingredient to taste them and you can taste each one distinctly and can tell it was made in house. The salad was amazing too, we usually go for a wedge salad so this was close to home and in fact wayyyyy better. Overall CHEFS KISS!!! Fun fact,,, my girlfriend had no idea I was proposing to her later that night... so you all made the dinner before that so much more memorable because we were both on cloud 9 with what we just ate and just so ya know ... she said yes... maybe it was the food haha. My friend and I went here on a Thursday night for dinner and drinks. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table, so we sat at the bar. We didn't mind because the ambiance and decor was comfortable and inviting. My friend had a glass of Syrah and I had a cold glass of Heff, both were perfect. For dinner, we shared the Arnold, and made it a gluten free pizza. It was the best pizza that we've both ever had! So much so that we ate the whole thing! Every restaurant recommendation for places in Temecula has the Goat and Vine and I can now understand all the hype after my visit over. The place was a little packed even as a restaurant that was closing in 50 minutes but my partner and I were seated almost immediately. Our waitress was very attentive throughout our entire visit and gave us a recommendation to try The Arnold as our main course. We got our food within 15 minutes of ordering. The appetizer of the bread sticks was stunning, the sauce and bread looked as if they had both come fresh out of the oven and they tasted like it too! The Arnold came shortly after and man, I don't know what sorcery that pizza was but I all I know was that within 5 minutes, half the pizza was gone. The hatch honey definitely complimented the slightly spicy pizza and the stracciatella was a nice fluffy change of pace when paired with the crispy crust. Overall, the service, the food and the whole aesthetic of the restaurant leaves me without any doubt as to why so many love this establishment. The perfect spot to come after a day of vineyard hopping to soak up all the wine. We were blown away by both of these pizzas but especially the hatch honey chili chicken. It was sweet and flavorful with just a little kick. Very refreshing and impossible to stop eating. One of the best pizzas I have ever had! And the steak and gorgonzola was also amazing - super different and unique. Our server recommended both and he nailed it - we could not have been happier with this spot. I didn't think I needed an upscale pizza place but the Goat and Vine changed my mind. It's been a few weeks since going here and when I think of pizza lately, I am craving the Goat and Vine. We came on a Saturday morning and arrived 10 minutes before it opened. There was a mini line of customers, which was a good sign. Everyone got seated though so no worries if you can't arrive at opening for a weekend lunch. We ordered the pretzel which was freshly made in house. It was more like a fresh bread vs. a pretzel but I wasn't upset. It was such a perfect fluffy texture with the right level of salt. The two sauces it came with (a cheese and mustard dip) were perfect with the pretzel. They balanced each other really well with the cheese having a heavier, rich flavor and the mustard having the lighter, tangy taste. We got the hatch chili honey chicken pizza which is one of their recommendations. It did not disappoint. It was exactly the type of pizza I love with the thin bottom layer of bread, topped with just the right amount of great quality toppings. Adding red peppers on top is a must so that it can add a kick on top of the sweetness the honey brings. My husband felt the pizza was too sweet for him but he agreed that the pizza quality was top tier. All of that to say, if you don't prefer honey or sweet pizza, there's a lot of other pizza choices. I personally would recommend the hatch chili honey pizza though because I personally found it to be the right balance of savory and sweet but also fresh with the vegetables included. We are pretty big eaters but we ended up having left overs of about two slices. The portions are really good and reasonably priced for the ambiance and quality. We ended up just having tea and coffee since we were going to wineries after but looking around, the cocktails looked amazing. The service was really great and those working there were friendly and very upbeat. I've already told my husband this is now one of my go-to places whenever we decide to visit Temecula. read more

The bread sticks were so good we ate all of them there and somehow managed to eat one slice of pizza. The location is very nice and well kept. There was already a line starting to form. Pregnant girl hyped up the chicken salad sandwich. NGL, this YE did some light reading before lunch. That chicken salad sounded amazing. So did the meats and favorite turkey! Guess what? I asked the bestie before we even left for lunch "did you look at the menu? Do you know what you want? This looks good. Want to split so we can try both?" Haha Food: Meatballs for the table to share. It was delicious. The piece of bread that came with it was soo good. Chicken salad sandwich - worth waiting for. It was delicious. Even the next day as leftovers. Favorite turkey - I love love sprouts and Brie so I was excited to try. Also really good but, not as much as the chicken salad sandwich! We visited The goat & Vine on 10/11/2025 with a party of three. We used the Yelp Waitlist, and waitlisted ourselves at 6pm and eventually got seated close to 8pm. We first visited this restaurant in March of 2024, and this is now our second time back. The second time was as good as the first. This place is wonderful. Our server was just lovely, and we enjoy the cozy and casual atmosphere. It is in a building with several other lovely restaurants. Tonight, we shared the Fig on the Farm Pizza and the Roast Turkey Bacon Avocado Melt. Both were absolutely delicious! We even had a little cookie sundae for our mini dessert, as we were celebrating two birthdays. Another lovely visit, and I wish this restaurant much success. Met a friend here for dinner after doing some Yelp research and it certainly lived up to the stellar ratings and reviews! First, I wanted to address how GORGEOUS this place is! Loved the vibe so much, such a well decorated restaurant. All of the subtle goat decor was so cute, the high ceilings were beautiful, and I very much enjoyed the modern chic style. Second, needed to call out all of the staff because they were so great! Very chipper and friendly, they definitely added to the ambiance. Lastly, the FOOD. Oh my god, the hot pretzels were EVERYTHING. Loved how light and fluffy they were but also had a pretzel texture and taste. What a great spot! I put myself on the waitlist about two and a half hours before I wanted to eat, and right on time, I got the notification that my table was ready.
