I don't find myself over this way as much while also on a HD run, but when I do I'm always reminded how much I like this location. It's not as busy as Cypress or GG, and although the layout is different than I'm used to I'm able to find things easily. They usually also have a wide selection of items to choose from. I typically frequent the Home Depot in Huntington Beach or Stanton. My usual experience is that there aren't many employees around when you're looking for something or have a question. They're often filled with young workers that don't know much about anything. This past weekend we went to the Westminster location and I was absolutely shocked! We were walking around the aisles with a shopping list. And every corner we turned, there was an employee smiling and greeting us! Asking if we needed help. Telling us to have a nice day. I have never walked into any store and experienced that! We thought wow, everyone is having a great day today! Absolutely do not order anything online and have it delivered! Ordered a tool chest online shipped from this store. $80 delivery fee. They dropped it off without my knowledge and when I arrived home there was a huge dent in the front of it. I called the store told them the situation and kindly asked to replace it and or refund my delivery and give me a discount option. The manager told me I would have to bring it in first. I told him I had it delivered 5 miles because I couldn't get it home myself. They then told me to rent one of their trucks to bring it in to them and then they would refund. I asked him if he thought that was logical, in which he stated no, but store policy and hung up. Oh, not to mention you could tell it was sitting outside for days and was absolutely filthy. I am a single mom and I recently bought a new GE Dryer from Home Depot. Unfortunately I had been gone and unable to test the dryer due to end of school year events and sports. I was not the one who received the dryer either. My neighbor did to help me. My first opportunity to test the Dryer (8days later) was a fail, as it doesn't not work. I called Home Depot and they are refusing to (replace) the dryer because it's outside of their 48 hour window. When the employee called me back she was rude and matter of fact. She stated that she told me about their 48 rule. I reminded her that I remembered that it was in regard to dents. She said I was wrong. Home Depot has NOT been helpful at all. I will never buy an appliance from them again. Please be careful purchasing from them, especially since the products they deliver are lemons. read more

Even though my appliance purchase was a total nightmare I was really impressed with Home Depot. I purchased a washer and dryer here on 6/28. After four botched attempts, one visit from GE, and me finally hiring another company they were installed on 7/8. The employee in the appliance department was very friendly and helpful. Delivery days were available pretty fast. My actual delivery and install was a nightmare but that was due to Temco, the delivery company Home Depot, Best Buy, Lowes, and Costco use. Home Depot had my back every step of the way. 1-800-455-3869, a number I called so many times. This is their appliance customer service. Every single time I called there was zero hold time. An extremely friendly employee picked up instantly. After my first call every single conversation was notated thoroughly so when I called again they had the story right in front of them. I didn't have to repeat it over and over from scratch like every other company out there. I was also impressed by the fact Home Depot empowers their employees to take action. There was no "let me transfer you to another department" or "let me ask my manager". They had the ability to make snap decisions and make things happen. They would be the mediator between me and Temco. They'd manage reschedules, they'd call supervisors, they'd bridge people up, and they gave great advice. They even listened to my frustrations about Temco and agreed to send GE out to figure out why my purchase wasn't working properly. All of this documented for the next customer service rep who answered. What really blew my mind is when I gave up on Temco and paid money for a installation company to finish the job. It was a lot of money. I called the 800 number getting all pumped up, was ready to fight. Was going to threaten small claims court, was going to argue and yell. Instead I had a super friendly employee who read the history of my nightmare experience and without any arguments they offered to refund my install fees 100% plus some extra for my trouble. I was completely blown away and instead of hanging up angry I hung up with a smile on my face. Now I have an awesome working washer and dryer. The shame is if you buy an appliance you're stuck with Temco. I highly recommend you have a back-up install company. Due to Home Depot's amazing customer service I would probably buy another large appliance from them but I would just have it delivered and hire my own install company to skip Temco. The frustration is from the moment they deliver you only have 48 hours to report it so make sure you schedule your installation company accordingly to be within that timeline. read more

I went into the Home Depot and had an unfortunate interaction with an employee in the garden section; this employee knew I was going to the manager in the front and when I got to Colin at the front register; he wanted an explanation why I wanted to see a manager, shrugged his shoulders, and told me it wasn't happening. I am a woman I am 50 years old ; there was no reason for this attitude ! I was treated like this because I'm an older woman ; this was unfair and highly discriminatory like practices. I will be contacting your corporate office about this !! What you say to customers and how you treat them does matter ! I have a credit card and I may cancel that as well ! Had to go to to Home Depot's to get a simple paint sample. The one in Stanton said they were out of semi gloss samples so I come to this one for them to not even be able to make it and have to color match their color chip off the freaking wall of color chips . And I told the guy it ain't gonna match and sure enough It is FN blue, not teal/aqua. So that was a waste, eight dollars and driving to two different stores I am so tired of Home Depot and all their subpar products. read more

This Home Depot is located in the plaza next to Ross and kfc... next to per adoption place. So expect parking to be pack on the weekends. This review is based on the key locksmith service. So I came in to get a duplicate house key and wanted to have customization. After paying a reasonable fee for it, the key did not work. I didn't open it the package completely. So it is still in tact. I went back to the same location and to talk to customer service and explain the situation. Customer service was kind enough to understand the situation and ask to remake another key. Turns out the customization does not work on house keys so I got a regular key instead. After making the customization and telling them I don't have the receipt but the first duplication is still in tact on it's original packaging, I was refunded the difference since I pay in cash. Overall, it depends on whose behind the counter and handling you. If you are being treated horribly and don't value you as customer, that person should be fire....manager or not. If I would have to pay the second duplicate, I would have given them a 1 star. read more

This review is based on Self Check Out only. I use SCO whenever and wherever I can for a few reasons, one being because I don't need to interact with anyone and I prefer doing things myself. At Home Depot, they must think ringing up customers for them is good customer service but it's not. At least read the room and help the customer who looks like they need or want help. My recent purchase of 2 items turned into a 30 minute wait because the guy took my merchandise and range it up for me. After paying and checking my receipt I realized there was a third item added to my cart that I did not have or want. So now I have to go to the returns line to get a refund. If I rang up my own stuff, ai would have noticed that a previous customer scanned an item and walked away as that's how a lot of customers do price checks at Home Depot. read more

One star for their delivery service. I ordered online, paid $89 flat fee for curbside delivery dropoff . There was a delivery window of 6am-8pm window! On delivery date I sat around waiting for them, checked the app for tracking information and it said awaiting truckload mid day, and then an hour later the tracking said "delivery was attempted but sorry we missed you"! Yet no one came, after two phone calls and being put on hold they confirmed that no one came to my house, and their third party delivery service didn't have my order in their system! I have scheduled my contractors to use the supply the next day so I scrambled to arrange for a neighbor to come pick up the supplies and my delivery service fee was waived. This may sound silly, and I was embarrassed, but two of our bathrooms are in the process of being remodeled. We are all using the one working toilet. Yes, it broke. (8:15 PM) It was too late to order "curbside pick up." I was desperate but as soon as I entered Home Depot (Westminster, CA), I was met by employees RACHEL, PHILLIP and ALLIE. I actually had a blood pressure pill in my mouth and no water. First, they got me a bottle of water (THANK YOU). Then, they loaded up a flatbed with the toilet and supplies I needed. The Home Depot - New Toilet - Hardware Stores Near Me - Westminster, California

This Home Depot is very out of the way for me - but after my first time visit here today, it's something I definitely don't mind driving a bit farther for. The warehouse is huge - just like all the other HDs I've been to - but they carry some of the items that the other locations nearby in Stanton or GG don't have. There were definitely a good amount of shoppers in the store, but it didn't feel crowded. I was able to get all the items I initially came for, and then picked up some additional items that stood out for me. The prices here are competitive - almost on par if not cheaper than Walmart/Target prices - although there were some items that HD carried that was definitely higher than the discount stores. You can browse their selection online - remember to set your store to this location, so the "quantity on hand/in-stock" number is more accurate. Customer service is great here - the associates I spoke to were helpful and definitely knew their way around the store. Some offered advice when I told them what I was shopping for (not necessarily a specific product, but finding something to solve/troubleshoot a problem. A major plus - is that parking is easy here. Unless the mess that is at the HD in GG right across from Costco where the parking lot looks big, but you've got trucks and other cars that are parked in messed up angles - taking out several spaces with them - the parking here is easy in and easy out. Note that the exit is about 40 or so feet from the entrance. Definitely a new favorite for me as far as Home Depot locations go. I don't mind going out of my way to visit this location, since compared to the GG one in terms of parking, friendliness/helpfulness of the associates, selection - the HD Westminster store definitely is the winner! read more
