Once I tried the 12-inch Five Cheese Pizza I haven't felt the need to look any further. It's one of my favorite items to order and, yes, I eat the entire pizza myself. The Bleu Cheese Chips are a must have side for any meal. For the most part this location looks nice and has ample seating. Whichever table we choose has always been clean. Used tables get bused quickly after customers leave. The floor isn't always as clean and the men's restroom could use some work. The staff, although not overflowing with joy, are friendly and helpful. I must admit I've never had an issue with my food, so other than placing the order at the front counter, I haven't interacted with the staff much. Unfortunately, I really don't enjoy coming to this particular location. Each time I visit it is very busy and very loud. Every soccer mom and her 20 kids are all over the place. It is becoming like a ritual now after dance class we head to The Loop for dinner. I am in love with their tomato bisque and order it every time we go. I haven't been here since last year but I really wanted a cheeseburger! And it was delicious! And I also tried something different by getting my burger medium well and it wasn't bad at all. My food was served hard as a rock and I walked up to the counter, asked the girl at the register for her name, and let me say Madison is a great employee with exceptional customer service. Like bleu cheese? This USED TO BE the place to go with blue cheese covering their fresh made potato chips and bleu cheese burger. EXCEPT, there's only one problem: this restaurant's employees and manager can't follow instructions. I asked for grilled onions on the burger but got raw onions. I brought it back to the counter and told the staff I ordered "grilled onions" and was told they'll remake the burger. 15 minutes later I'm brought be a blue cheese burger with grilled onions AND NO BLUE CHEESE. WTH??? By this time it's 30+ minutes into everyone's meal and they're nearly done. I asked to speak with a manager and a young girl responds "I'm the manager, what's the problem?" Not, "can I help you" but a pissy attitude "what's the problem?" I told her that everyone else has finished their meals and twice they've failed to make my burger as requested. I asked for a refund and she processed it. No "I'm sorry" or any offer at all. She told me my refund won't likely appear on my credit card for a day or two, turned and walked away. Pissy attitudes and smart ass responses will get only lousy online reviews here and on several other sites and a personal visit by me with this young lady's supervisor. The Loop and bleu is my favorite meal and this time there was no reason not to indulge as they had bogo burgers! My friends and I arrived around 1 and we all Ordered burgers. We found our food to be delicious, and we indulged in blue cheese chips as an appetizer. I took my second burger to my husband and he was very pleased to eat it but the chips are not great reheated. One of the best burgers in Jacksonville! Somehow five guys has one all of these awards. A flatop does no justice to a burger when you press the life out of it. The counter staff was extremely welcoming and helpful with assisting me with my order. This was not the first time in here but with the new renovations it looks great. I ordered a great American Cheese burger medium with no tomatoes. The burger was on point with the temperature and seasoned perfectly. The loop has always been one of our favorites. The food is not drop dead awesome but it is always good and the quality is very consistent. The salads are delicious especially when you add hot grilled chicken. The pizza is above average and the burgers are always tasty. If you are feeling decadent go for the blue cheese chips which are rich but very good. The staff is consistently good which says a lot in today's world of service. It's amazing that in all my trips to the this Loop I've not had any bad service. Great job and kudos to the staff. Please keep this up because service does make a difference. Finally, I will add that the bathrooms are always clean. This may seem like an obvious requirement but I can't tell you how many other places do not maintain their bathrooms appropriately. In this regard the Loop does a fine job. I can wash my hands and not worry about a filthy restroom. The Loop is a mainstay for us. Keep up the good work! read more

Had to wait 30 minutes for a takeout order that had been called in. Restaurant was half full at best. Unlike the Southside Blvd Loop we used to visit, food here is mediocre and prepared without any apparent care. Still terrible. I love the Loop. We used to go on a weekly basis. But we moved a year ago and this location is not the best. They frequently screw up your order and the food is not as good as other locations - over or under done chicken, burger inconsistently cooked. I was hoping we just caught it at a bad time but we've been enough to know it just is what it is. I used to love this Loop restaurant. Over the last several months it has gone steadily down hill. My go-to used to be the goat cheese salad. Well guess what they always forget...yep, the goat cheese. On top of that you never know if the young girl at the counter is going to be snarky, or just plain rude. The last time I went in and picked up our take out I told the girl I needed to check my order. She said they check it and I don't need to. Of course I did anyway, and when the salad dressing was missing she could barely bring herself to get it for me. It really sucks because there aren't enough good restaurants in Julington Creek. They serve raw hamburgers. This was after waiting 20 minutes for a cold burger. They also served up a cold kids pizza the 1st time around. The gorgonzola salad with chicken didn't come with dressing. This is one of those good solid lunch places that you can always find something to enjoy. The concept is a fast casual hybrid because instead of the focus on disposable dishes like Chipotle and the like they have more of a restaurant feel with actual plates and silverware and a traditional kitchen set-up. I am a fan of the food. It's not special necessarily but it's solid and consistent. The burgers are well seasoned and the Chinese Chicken Salad is really flavorful. As far as I'm concerned this is a solid place to go on a lunch break during work and it would be a fine place to stop in for something on a weekend if you want to eat something with friends/family and not go home. Now I remember eating here 10-11 years ago when we built a gas station across the street. This place hasn't changed one bit. I mean everything is like it was bolted down when they opened it. The tables are in the same place the fountain machine is in the same place. Even the flavors are in the same place. The food is also the same. I can get some pizzas and burgers and salads. I cannot comprehend how onions that are carmelized would taste like vinegar when they are made using onions and salt and then the cooking time. I'm wondering if they realize that onions that have gone bad are more dangerous than bad mayo. It can make you get food poisoning. This location just is not up to par to the others that I have been too. I have been here twice lately and I will never come back to this one. The server at the register barely acknowledged me and I had to speak first. She didn't even ask what I would like to order. Which is never a good impression when dealing with customers. The Loop has to be one of our favorite restaurants. This particular location is great, however, it's seems like the food quality is inconsistent. My favorite loop food is def the fries, but 80% of the time they come out brown and taste funny. One of the servers told me that they change the grease on Wednesday and that's the day they are good and fresh. Too bad we like to go on Monday nights! My husband and I wanted a nice burger and this was his first visit to the Loop. I love this location. Very big-I've never seen a Loop so big. Many seating booths and tables. A lot of TV's in different location within the restaurant. I had the swiss mushroom burger (with added bacon) absolutely delicious and the blue cheese chips-amazing. Great food and wonderfl service describe our favorite Julington Creek Restaurant! We eat here at least once a week and are greeted by name. The Loop Burger is my favorite, but my husband lovs the grilled chicken sandwich is at the top of his list. My daughter loves the pizza so everyone is happy! Its also nice that there are always coupons available for the restaurant. In this economy it sure does help.
