DELICIOUS! I went to try their tasting menu that you can get a wine pairing with. They have a sommelier (who is from France) to explain to you all the wines. It was such an amazing meal. Some of my favorites was the ravioli and steak. I am still thinking about this meal. The chef came out and explained each part of our meal also.

For my birthday and Valentine's Day this year (they are back to back) my boyfriend planned an evening reminiscent of one of our first trips together... in Vegas! We both got dressed up and headed to Hollywood Casino. This restaurant is located inside and we arrived a little before our reservation so we meandered around for a while. When it came time to eat there was a little confusion about our reservations but eventually I asked if it mattered and if we could get a table. Thankfully, we got seated right away. Our server was friendly and attentive from the jump. We ordered a bottle of wine to start and nibbled on the rolls they put on the table. As for entrees, I went with a ceasar salad and the salmon. The boyfriend went with the ribeye. The salmon came with a butternut squash purée, lemon kale, and a maple glaze. I ate every bite of the salmon and the salad was alright. We both had a pretty good experience here but I honestly wouldn't come back unless I was planning to visit the casino. It's not located in an area where I could come just to eat.

Supposed to be mac and cheese. It's clearly alfredo.....and they have the nerve to charge extra for it.

This place is horrible. The customer service is lacking. The waiter literally told us that we would had to hurry up and order because the kitchen was closing, but we had reservations for 9:30pm and arrived 10min early. He basically tried to rush me through my order. I explained to him that this was our first time trying this place out and he gave us some time, but quickly came back so we just went ahead and ordered. First red flag. We started with the calamari. Horrible choice. The calamari was soft and the breading was falling off. We sent it back and asked for another order fried harder. We thought this would fix the problem. It did not. The second order was harder but too salty, so we couldn't eat that one either. After that we just set our hopes on the entree. That was mistake. I ordered the T-bone steak (medium) with Mac and cheese. The order was delivered quickly, but it was over cooked (well-done) and the Mac and cheese was more like a mini alfredo. I had to send the steak back, but I kept the "mac and cheese" because at this point I didn't think they could cook anything correct. The steak came back medium, but was a weird consistency.....almost like it was steamed or boiled (very strange). The steak was also grey in color, but oddly had some flavor. I think it sat in a bag for a long period of time.....longer than any meat is supposed to. I know this sounds weird. I didn't take a pic of it because I was ready to go after this. We did not order a bottle of wine (like we normally do) because I could not stay in this pretend high-quality restaurant any longer. This place was unbelievably bad. Why even take reservations at 9:30pm if your kitchen cannot or will not deliver the same quality of service during this time? Or is this the standard the cooks/chefs work under all day? Not sure......but they need lower the prices because nothing was worth the money we spent that night (Valentine's Day). We could have received better food at any local bar. The best part of the meal was the free bread and butter. I had such high hopes for this restaurant......what a complete let down.

No one, not crowded at all

I've been here one other time, years ago witH my now husband. Tonight I went here with my husband and in laws for a nice dinner before a show that was playing at the casino. We had a reservation, but when we were sat, I believe we were the only ones in the place at 5:15. Our server came out with a complimentary snack for everyone. It was sushi grade salmon on top of a cucumber slice. Sounds gross but was excellent! For my entree, I ordered the salmon, and everyone else either had a fillet or ribeye. We also ordered the puréed potatoes and the mushrooms and onions, none of which I ate. Next came the bread service, which I wasn't expecting. Full loaf of brioche served with sea salt butter, cinnamon butter and strawberry eddy marmalade. It was excellent as well. Then our entrees came. Everyone's steak came out and looked great, was cooked to perfection and they all enjoyed them. My salmon oh man my salmon was so good! Spicy on the salmon and the saUce was sweet. It came on a bed of collard greens that were so tasty! The first time I came here I have their beef Wellington. They no longer offer this on their menu which is highly disappointing as finally cUt was one of the only places in Columbus to get a beef Wellington. This is why they're not getting 5 stars. My husband had a glass of port, and in laws had some coffee, and we were on our way. We will definitely be back, especially if they add the Wellington back to their menu!

Slow service. Inflated prices. Mediocre steak and fish. Do not waste your money here, better off ordering a pizza at home.

So I rushed over to make sure I arrived with plenty of time. I pulled up at 5:32 PM -- and the doors were already chained and locked. To make it even crazier, the sign on the door originally said 6:00 PM, but the 6:00 had been crossed out and changed to 5:45 PM. Okay... but it was only 5:32! I was STILL 13 minutes early according to the time THEY wrote on their own door! That's horrible customer service. If you tell a customer on the phone that you close at 6:00, they should reasonably expect to be able to walk through the door before 6:00 -- and certainly before 5:45. Here's where the story gets interesting. I called COLO Market & Oyster Bar Downtown at North Market instead, and the difference was night and day from the moment they answered the phone. The tone was welcoming, they clearly told me their hours, and when we arrived they actually seemed happy to see us and happy to have our business. And it got better: they had 30% off, seasoned our oysters for us, packaged everything beautifully on ice, and sent us on our way feeling like valued customers. What started as a frustrating experience at Frank's turned into finding a seafood market that I'll gladly return to. Sometimes losing a customer isn't about the product -- it's about how you treat people. Frank's, shame on you. Locking your doors before even your handwritten early closing time, after telling a customer something completely different over the phone, is insane. The contrast in service showed me exactly where I'd rather spend my money from now on. COLO gained a customer today. Frank's lost one.

The service was prompt, we never had an empty or low glass. We also never had a dirty empty plate sit more than a few seconds. All very impressive. Not too busy on Friday at 11:30 am but it got busier. Service for drinks was very attentive but almost everyone i saw just got water. I asked about Japanese drinks and the waiter said we go to the front and grab those out of a fridge. On to the food. I started with the sushi of which there was a very large selection of both sashimi and sushi rolls, including several different toppings. I was bitterly disappointed that the taste of the sushi was not good. In fact, I could not even eat it except for the fried items which were good, although not really hot. I'm a little embarrassed to say that I did stuff a couple pieces of sushi in a napkin so that it didn't look so wasteful but really I could not eat it. Unfortunately this was my daughter's first time trying sushi so still not sure if she likes it. Onto the other hot dishes, the Asian food such as general Tso chicken, chicken with mushrooms, and beef with peppers was all very good. However, the fried rice just had some color and onion in it, no egg, no carrots, no peas. And the noodles were very basic but edible. The spring roll was very mushy again could not finish that. At this point, I was kind of over trying to find things that I liked and decided to end with some ice cream. There were just little cups of ice cream three different flavors and this was honestly the best part of my meal. My daughter tried three little cakes and she said they were excellent. I'm not sure about the salads and the fried American foods they had but overall I would just say the quality wasn't something I would go back for. There were people that had been there before, seemed like regulars and even had reward card to punch so maybe certain palletes enjoy it. I do think that the Asian protein dishes were the best part for me but not worth a return trip.
