This place is risky at best. The food is horrendous. The saddest part is how they ruined so many lobster tails. It was green and rubbery and smelled awful. It should be a crime to ruin lobster tails the way they did here. We were also made aware that they arrive precooked. So they took extra time and put in more effort to butcher them further. The food selection was made up of subpar Chinese dishes, sketchy oysters and clams, extremely dried fries and nuggets, cold shrimp and crab legs that were not fresh. You know, the kind bend instead of break when you try to crack them? Teppanyaki with ingredients strewn about..and some pretty looking but funky tasting sushi. They have a fruit and salad bar that you can't really mess up as well. There was also some dessert that was obviously pre-packaged. Which was honestly for the best. I would hate to see what they would have done to cheesecake bites that required more than transferring them from the package to a refrigerator. If you have $32 burning a hole in your pocket, you're better off going to get 32 McChicken sandwiches. Don't be fooled into thinking you are getting lobster and crab legs. You are more likely to get a stomach ache. read more

If you check in on yelp you get your drink for free, you can also look up Luxe Buffet coupons and just show that and you get the drink for free. Went to the buffet on an a Thursday around 4pm when dinner started. Service appeared well from the start however, the food line up didn't appear pleasing to the eye at all. I did try a few things and mostly all the items I tried were cold from sitting out. The reason my review is 1 star is because upon preparing my plate for the grill area to cook. I observed the chef separating meats next to his hand washing station. I rang the little bell on the desk, he turned and noticed me then proceeded to wash his gloves that he just used on raw meats as well as wipe the sink down and rinse THE GLOVES. He walked over to me to grab my plate still without changing his gloves. After sitting down I reached out to my waitress to let her know cause at that point I was ready to go and lost my complete appetite. From speaking to the manager all they wanted to do was only charge me for 1 person meal instead of 2 because I was there with my partner and they said we had been there for over an hour. The place was super clean. Looked very nice! The food was okay, I don't know if I will be returning. The wait staff was soooooo sweet and attentive. I recommend getting the sushi (my husband said they were super fresh), crawfish, clams, and the lobster. All those were super yummy and well worth it. I was shook by the price for the dinner we had. For reference 2 adult people and 2 drinks was $92 and some change. The dessert section was a little underwhelming. Over all 6/10. Won't be returning but definitely something to experience once. They charged $15 for my 2yr old who ate 3 strawberries and an orange. Their sign says they charge kids by height which is ridiculous. Visited this Sunday, me and my friends both had diarrhea and I've been throwing up for 3 days straight

The food, especially the sushi rolls and baked/fried/hot seafood dishes were surprisingly really good. Other standouts were the fresh/ripe strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew, and KIWIS. The sweet and sour soup, beef tendon soup, and tapioca ball dessert soup were really good as well. The fries rival fast food fries- well seasoned and not dry/perfectly juicy fries. The nigiri (tasted stale), the ice cream (too icy), and the steak/ribs (too dry) were not good. Luxe would definitely be at least four stars however their use of styrofoam plates and plastic/disposable cutlery is CRINGE. Styrofoam takes 500 years to decompose, and Luxe (with the full house that I experienced one Saturday for lunch) produces at least 1000 styrofoam plates for trash each day. This is senseless and irresponsible filling up of our landfill with single use plastics. We all need to do our part in treating our Earth and environment better, and restaurants can make a huge impact. PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR REGULAR PLATES, CUPS, and CUTLERY. "COVID" can no longer be the reason to use single-use Styrofoam plates and plastic utensils because they were not strict with enforcing a mask mandate at the food stalls, and no one afraid of catching COVID at a restaurant would partake in a buffet anyways. read more

Wow! The ROMEO's took our Friday lunch crew to Ontario. What a great, great surprise! Great service (yes I know it's a buffet), great food and great value. My only disappointment was that I hadn't planned well enough so I could get through the huge variety of food. Excellent quality, fresh sushi (small portions not loaded with rice), teppan table with build your own plate options, carving station of beef, shrimp cooked every way, even raw on the sushi station. Crab legs, frog legs and on and on and on! Too much if you don't plan or you better plan to come back. So it has been a while since we have went here. The service was OK, they do come and remove your plates, but they also just show up and take stuff off the table to refill while you are eating and don't say anything. I would be polite to say excuse me or wait until we are finished with the table to refill. The food was OK, but I would not have spent the almost $40 for dinner. No labels on the food, so if you don't frequent these places, you will have no idea what you are eating. There is an assortment of food, but because there is not a lot of people there, the food sits out for a rather long time. My daughter was supper excited for the Gelato machine they used to have, but it has been replaced by an ice cream freezer with cheap sherbet and basic ice cream cups you would find at a school cafeteria.
