Had a great experience at The Melt! The staff were all very attentive and frequently walking around the dining area to check on customers and ensure it was clean. Food was good! We tried the double bbq bacon burger 10/10 - Greasy, cheesy, meaty and super flavorful! The garlic Parmesan fries reminded me of being at a baseball game - tons of fresh chopped garlic and the flavor stuck with us all day long. No vampires in sight haha But the Crispy Chicken was 6/10- a bit plain. Could have used more sauce and seasoning. Next time I'll try a different chicken option. Inside, the decor was really cool! Absolutely phenomenal. Great food and great service! Timothy was super helpful and even came around with some cookie for the kids. They put a generous amount of seasoning on it which is a-okay with me. The combo comes out to about $18 pre-tip -- pretty reasonable in Sacramento. In such a saturated and competitive market, burgers require attention to culinary detail in order to stand out. The meltburger has no issue putting its own unique spin on things. Well, this is going to one of my new spots for burgers. This is the first time I came here and I was not disappointed. The Melt Restaurant is well lit and you can choose to order yourself on the kiosk or you can place your order at the counter. My son and I decided to place our order at the kiosk.However Remy was so helpful. She helped with water cups as well getting our receipts so that I could get started on the rewards program. There is plenty of seating, condiments and food choices. They have hamburgers, chicken burgers, impossible burgers and grilled cheese sandwiches. I opted for a Double BBQ Melt Burger and fries. My son had a Double Melt Burger. The burgers are big and I was only able to half! The music that was playing was upbeat and the restaurant clean. My experience at this restaurant was appalling. I went into one of the single use restrooms, and a stafff member immediatly pounded on the door telling me I needed to get out immediately. I told her I would be out in a moment. She then proceeded to use her key to open the door and walk into the stall while I was still in it! Once she saw me, she apologized and stated that she thought I was a homeless person. I talked to the manager, who also apologized and "explained" that they had had problems with "homeless people." (Incidentally, I am a 66 year old professional wearing my standard working attire; I hardly think I give off a homeless vibe). In any event, whether or not the staff thinks the occupant has a home or not, there is no excuse to barge into a locked restroom when it has only been occupied for a minute or two. Unless you are on board with this sort of invasion of privacy and palpable disdain for homeless people, I would stay away from this restaurant. read more

A great place if you want American fare in a casual environment. We came for lunch on a Friday and found the place rather busy with both patrons and to-go orders. Note that it is a very small parking lot and the front door is located across from the dumpsters - no shade, just facts. The decor is very gaudy American with bright lights, neon signs, chalkboard style wallpaper, and brass and wood decor. Offerings: - Steak and Cheese Sandwich: This was the best thing we had. The steak was processed but delicious and the fresh, slightly cooked bell peppers were the perfect sweet addition. The bread was buttered and toasted well and altogether it was a solid sandwich. - Swiss and Shroom MELTBURGER: I would say this is a very good burger with very mild flavor. If you come to restaurants and often complain that their food is too salty, this is the perfect burger to order. It does taste fresh, and all the ingredients are good, but it does lack that extra pizzazz that I like to order. - Mac and Cheese: A solid dish. Cooked with a larger macaroni product and many different cheeses. I especially like the crispy panko on top. Not a super memorable dish, but good. - Garlic Parmesan fries: Flavor 5/5, texture 1/5. For fries, these were a flaccid mess. We even tried reviving them in the air fryer at home and it was a lost cause. The food was great too, I'm a vegetarian so I got some basics- but they've got other choices for other vegetarians and vegans out there.
